Chapter 12: 10.5

(Third pov)

Year 2032. The earth is in an unbelievable state. 

There were large human-like creatures. The unknown species is color gold, as if the skin is an armour. 

It has scales resembling a dragon. One could simply refer to them as aliens. 

In one of the alien's futuristic looking facilities, a group of three guards seemed to be chasing someone. 

The aliens height is about 9'2" while the one they're chasing is only 5'6". It is a female human. The female has short dark blue hair and dark blue eyes, wearing complex some dress. 

Her name is Yui. The one from the original timeline. 

She is running away from the aliens with a mysterious odd looking box in her hands. 

She is running very fast. With her efforts, she finally reached a room. 

Yui immediately presses the button on the side to close the metallic door. 

"Hahahaha!!! Too slow despite having long legs!!!" Yui teased the aliens as the door closed, covering those aliens that were chasing her. 

Though, Yui is tired from all that running. 

She was panting heavily. However, she had something important to do. She doesn't have time to rest. 

"They need to calm down, honestly." She muttered.

The aliens were banging loudly at the door. It is really loud.

Yui decided to ignore it. In front of her is a large capsule with liquid. 

Inside the capsule, there is a blue screen floating. 

"Am I supposed to insert this thing here?" Yui asked herself. After all, she's the only one inside the room. 

Below the capsule, there's an empty space where it looks like the box Yui is holding should be placed in there. 

"Please don't let my sacrifices be in vain." She said. She inserts the box there. 

Above it, there seems to be some progress bar where it says zero percent. A second later, it became one, then two. "Ahhh... Hurry up..." 

Yui complained. Suddenly, the door opened. The aliens are standing outside. 

They then pointed their gun at her one by one. Seeing so, she gave up. 

'... I guess this is it...' Yui thought. She was about to give up. She thought it was the end of her journey. 

But then, she heard the sound of cracking behind her. The aliens stopped. She turned around. The glass of the capsule is breaking. 

The screen flies out the broken capsule. Yui turns back, the aliens weren't there anymore. 

"... So this is the power of time..." Yui murmured.

Then, something appeared on the screen. It is a smiley face. 

Upon seeing Yui, the screen considered her as its creator. The system acknowledged her as the host. Yui was the one who gave rebirth to it.
