Chapter 3: Chapter 1

In the mortal realm centuries had passed, as the kingdoms waged war on each other countless times. Eventually the people of the world stopped believing that there were any gods to begin with. Over time the talk of gods became legends passed down, and half of the people stopped believing completely. The churches in the world have lost their power, and most countries had a single ruler or a council of rulers. The world was currently in a relatively peaceful state, as there hadn’t been any major wars in 100 years. 

A being currently exists in a certain domain. She had vowed to herself that she would rip reality asunder. Now she is vowing that today she will escape from the current place she finds herself in.

“I swear today I will break free from this place!” I have no way of knowing how long I have been here, but I am beginning to think that my “Queen of Crazy” title isn’t just for show as I have been talking to myself for what feels like centuries. I have learned quite a few things about myself, and I maxed out my singing skill! I would put bards to shame, but no my true identity is a scholar! 

What do scholars do, you ask? Well, obviously they research various topics, and I have been researching my surroundings and myself all of this time. I found out that my surroundings are… unchanging! “Isn’t that just delightful? It is the same thing all around me… forever!”

That was an interesting discovery all by itself, and I couldn’t find the edge of this place no matter how much I walked. I want to curse whatever god left me here! How can I even reach my goal when I am stuck here?

“Today will be different!” I yelled at the top of my lungs to my only conversation partner. Which was the reflection of myself on the water's surface. I am quite beautiful if I say so myself, but that is not what I should be focusing on. Yes, I will be getting out of here today. I wonder what day it even is? Or is it the same day that I was supposed to have died? 

Whatever! These thoughts don’t matter because I am getting out of here today, I said! The reason being, is because I have thought of an experiment. Kukukukukukukuku! “Yes, I, ‘The Wonderful Scholar’ have thought of an experiment!” 

I have only been successful in water magic, and space magic since I came here for some reason. The space magic was only able to warp me within the space I am currently in, and the water magic has only been able to manipulate the water around me. But! Now listen to this! I finally had the brilliant idea to combine both water and space magic! Kukukukukuku! Am I amazing or what!

“What the hell do you mean, obvious schemer?” I really hate this voice who tries to belittle every single accomplishment I make! Screw them! Anyway, I found out that it is best to just ignore this voice and focus on myself! Yes, that is what I shall do! Back to what I was doing before. Wait, what was that again?...Oh yes, I will combine the magics! 

Now I will take space mana in my right hand and water mana in my left. I imagined the water under me turning into a separate space with my space magic, and the effects were immediate as I fell into a hole that opened up. 

I landed on my butt on a soft bed of grass. The hole that was open above me closed leaving me lying alone on my butt. “Wait, it actually worked!? Just what was I doing all that time!?”

I felt my eyes tear up as I started to cry. I don’t know how long I cried for, but it must not have been very long as it was still daytime. Finally, I began to observe my surroundings. 

It appeared like I was in a dense forest. All around me were trees and thick undergrowth. “Well, how should I begin my conquest to destroy this reality?~” Kukukukukuku! I wanted to sing out in joy now that I was finally taking my very first steps. 

“But exactly how does one even begin a journey to rip apart reality? Maybe I should begin by trying to rip apart physical objects?” It sounded like a good start to me, so immediately I began my experiments.

I started to rip apart the grass beneath me. As one would expect this accomplished nothing. I then broke a branch in half, but all this caused was a cracking sound. Maybe I could use a branch as a weapon to rip reality in half? I tried kicking a tree, and to my surprise the tree made a loud groaning sound and then splintered in half. “Huh, just what is this crazy amount of strength? I know I leveled up a few times, but I never really checked…” Immediately I chanted.

“WHAT!?” I yelled out. I was truly baffled by the stat growth. I mean it is true that your stat growth is based off of your level one stats, but this is just absurd; however, why the hell is my wisdom still so low? It only grew by one point per level…

Actually now that I think about it I wonder what this last title does? I immediately cast my appraisal on it.

I wanted to yell again, but I refrained myself. You see, this is exactly the type of thing that makes me want to rip this reality apart. I can’t stand this anymore! I started to run through the undergrowth in anger, smashing apart trees that got in the way.

Apparently I could get a title for smashing trees. Before I could even inspect the title the trees in my vicinity appeared to be moving towards me. Wait, they are moving towards me!
