Chapter 9: Chap 9 – First day

Elysia knew that it would not be easy to share Albert with Amanda.

Amanda has always been jealous of Albert since they were six years old.

But Elysia didn't care.

She would work hard to prove herself worthy of Albert.

Elysia knew that Amanda would do anything to make Albert rethink the idea of having a second maid.

Elysia was determined to have a happy life with Albert and she had to be more careful.

After Elysia won the competition, she went home to sleep.

Elysia met her best friend, Elly, after she woke up.

Elly was a girl who looked exactly like her, except she had short black hair.

They were both tall and athletic girls.

"Congratulations," Elly said, "you are now Albert's personal servant."

"Yeah! I'll be working close by." She replied happily.

"That's great!" Elly smiled.

"I'm so excited," Elysia responded.

"I know!"

Elly also signed up for the test but was defeated.

As soon as Elly lost, she knew it was over.

Elly knew that she wouldn't get closer to Albert.

The only thing left to do was to congratulate her friend.

"Well, I guess you have to go now," Elly suggested.

"Yeah!" Elysia agreed.

Elysia went to wake up Alber.

As she predicted, Amanda was there.

She knew that was not going to be easy for her.

"Amanda, I believe you are aware that the morning period is mine from today."

"I knew that, I was just making sure you weren't late," Amanda answered.

"I'm not late, please leave," Elysia replied.

"If you're not comfortable with me here, you can always choose another room," Amanda argued.

"That's fine. But at least respect my time." Elysia demanded.

Amanda left without saying anything else.

Elysia knew that Albert couldn't miss his morning exercises, so she started making breakfast.

Elysia was an excellent cook.

She made her own recipes for everything.

And it was clear that everyone loved them.

She served Albert a delicious omelet, freshly baked bread, orange juice, and some other tasty treats.

The food was so good that Albert was impressed.

This was the first time he saw Elysia cooking.

He thought it was very impressive, even though she didn't need to impress him.

Albert was a bit surprised when Elysia asked if he wanted to try one of her specialties.

"Sure, why not?" He said.

Elysia prepared a small plate for herself and then offered it to Albert.

She made him a delicious meat pie with vegetables inside.

Albert liked the taste.

"Wow, this is amazing. What did you use to make all these different flavors?" Albert asked.

"It's called a recipe. Each ingredient has its unique flavor, and when combined they create something fantastic." Elysia explained.

"I see..." Albert smiled.

Elysia knew that Albert would love her food if he tried it.

Albert was still very hungry after eating his breakfast and asked if Elysia could prepare more.

"Of course," Elysia said.

She went back to the kitchen and cooked Albert another meal.

Albert ate almost all of it.

At last, Elysia was satisfied that Albert got what he needed in the morning.

"Congratulations," Amanda said in a jealous tone.

"I knew Albert-Sama would like it.

"Good for you, I hope you know how to be careful," Amanda replied.

"I'll take your advice," Elysia said.

"Albert defeated the Bishop of Lust's sin by trying to defend me" Amanda explained.

"What? How?" Elysia asked.

"I can't tell you. But I think you already know the answer."

Elysia wondered.

Was there something she was missing?

"Albert saw that the bishop was trying to hurt me and beat him before I could defend myself," Amanda said.

"Oh, that makes sense. I should have figured," Elysia answered.

"Please don't let Albert find out about this. I'm sure he would be worried," Amanda warned.

"I won't say a word," Elysia promised.

"I want Albert to have a good school life." Amanda continued.

"I understand." Elysia nodded.

"Someday he might see me as more than a sister," Amanda said in an unheard tone.

Amanda then left Elysia alone with Albert.

After Elysia finished her chores, she went to the courtyard where Albert was practicing his sword fighting skills.

Albert was wearing his armor and practicing against imaginary enemies.

"Is that you, Elysia?" Albert asked.

"Yes," Elysia said.

"Why were you at the window?" Albert asked.

"Because I was hoping to see you work out," Elysia confessed.

"I can do more than that, if you want," Albert stated.

Elysia was shocked.

"Are you asking me to...?" She asked.

"I'm not forcing you or anything, I just thought you'd enjoy it." Albert clarified.

"You mean...?" Elysia asked.

"Yes," Albert said.

"If you want..." Elysia added.

"Then we can," Albert said.

They went to the training grounds and fought each other.

Elysia knew she couldn't defeat Albert in a fight, but at least she would spend time together with her master.

This was Elysia's dream.

To be with Albert, who she loved more than anyone else.

The next day, Elysia did her homework and then saw Amanda walking to school with Albert.

Elysia felt jealous of Amanda for being able to spend more time with Albert, so she decided to follow them.

Amanda noticed Elysia and knew the reason she was following them.

Amanda hugged Albert to make Elysia jealous.

But Elysia couldn't believe her eyes.

When she got home, he discovered that the maids had gone on strike.

"Albert-sama has been monopolized by Amanda for years, we want equal rights," yelled Elly.

The maids went to the front gate and started banging their brooms.

Hyde came outside to see what was going on.

"What are you doing?" Hyde asked.

"Justice!"
