Chapter 5: The Heroes Legend And She’s A Fangirl?

"I adore the Great Heroes Of Time." Sakura smiled. A genuine angelic smile caused me to shield my rosy cheeks. I'm not blushing, I swear.

A brief moment later I descend my hands... Sakura stared dumbfounded.

"Are you an idiot?" She said, grasping the book very fondly as if it was a special gift given to her.

"Everyone knows the legend!" Sakura hissed. Slowly her eyes transform into love hearts.

"Only the awesome, the coolest, the super duper lovey dovey heroes?!" She swings the book back and forth as she embraces it tightly. Jeez, the book looks like it's suffocating.

"Who saved the world from certain demise!" She continued to embrace the book, forcing me to cover my eyes due to stars materialising over her head.

I guess she's a fangirl?

"So, enlighten me---" My speech was cut short by Sakura, jumping closer to me... Too close for comfort.

"OH! I WILL!" Sakura yelled, her cleavage is way too close.

I smirk, imitating the straightening of my non-existent glasses, Such a foolish attempt to make me have a nosebleed.

I spin around, wiping my nose. I'm sure it's just a coincidence.

"You're a moron." Sakura's in pure disbelief, returned to her chair, crossing her legs as she opened the legend book.

"A great evil threatened the entire world. Her name was Dexis" Sakura showed me the first page expressing silhouettes of a half-human with a spider body snapping strings disguised as people.

Wait? I felt uneasy... So did we prevail?

Sakura flipped over to the next page, showing towns, capitals and corpses of townspeople. "Each day passed, Dexis with every step consumed life..." Sakura continued, shoving the other page in my face. Showing four silhouettes, each wielding swords joining together as if uniting.

"Swords raised high above the horizon, They brought the fight to Dexis themselves." Sakura smiled again, she really loves this book as she turns to a new page.

Displays one hero with neon green hair piercing Dexis with one blade designed out of fire, also being stabbed themselves. 

THAT'S ME?! OH MY! My happiness was cut short as it suddenly hit me, do I want to finish this? The one wielding the shield is Takashi, Diana is positioned with her arm facing the sky as if chanting the fireball spell and Felix is wielding his sword a little below Dexis for a sneak attack.

"All united encountered the embodiment of evil, the world's hope was resting on these four." Sakura continued, giggling like a schoolgirl while turning over another page to express the heroes cheering while one hero was waving his arms up and down a little away.
That must've been Takashi. What an oddball aha.

"An ultimate victory for the four brave heroes turned into a tragedy." Sakura closes her eyes as she shoved the final page in my face.

Reveals three heroes vanishing and Takashi sealing the demon away. Killing each other.

"The fate of the three other heroes remains a mystery as are their names... However, the last remaining hero Takashi sealed Dexis away." Sakura closed the book.

"There is a part 2 as well, hold on." Sakura stands up and strolls out of her room.

Eh? A part two?! That is what transpired. I scrub my face. How is this possible? Seconds turn into minutes as I sit patiently.

Sakura bursts in and sit down, bringing another book.

"AND THEN THE HEROES COME BACK YEARS LATER AND VAULTED INTO SPACE?! FIGHTING DEXIS NEAR THE SUN! EVENTUALLY EXPOSING A SECRET HIDDEN PLANET WITH DEXIS CLONES EVERYWHERE?!" She hopped off her seat as our faces are inches from each other like a typical prince saving a princess bullcrap. Let's not forget about that stupid kiss scene at the end.

My whole body shakes profusely. THAT'S LITERALLY A FANFIC?!

"THAT'S JUST FANFIC?!---" I clench my fists.

"YOU DON'T KNOW THAT?!" Sakura's fists descend banging the desk.

"I DO---" I interrupt myself. That was close, I don't wanna expose myself. So I'll give in to her fanfic.

"Actually, you might be right," I mumble, giving in to this world of fanfic, I cough.

"For some reason, I don't believe you. Hmph! " Sakura pouted, picking up the empty glasses and leaving the room.

I lean my elbows on the desk, my chin resting on my hands. Something doesn't connect. I mean, La knew our names right? So why were our names left out whilst Takashi is exposed to the public? Closing my eyes. I don't believe La is a bad person right... Perhaps La was overwhelmed with emotions since Takashi died after sealing Dexis. Sorry, Takashi. I feel my heart skip a beat. I have a glimmer of hope the others are alive.

"What's wrong with you?" Sakura poked my forehead, bringing me back to the present."You look like you've seen a ghost." She continued to poke me.

Huh? Is that Sakura?! When did she come back... I was deep in thought I obscured my surroundings.

Sakura rotates her chair and sits the opposite way, her chest leaning against the spine of the chair.

"I haven't spoken to anyone like this in quite a while..." Sakura glared, biting her fingernails.
"Why not?" I wondered, stretching my arms.

"Everyone knows me as the ice queen, the number one elite at the Hero Academy. It's almost impossible to have a normal conversation as everyone is afraid." She tapped the floor, sighing.
Never mind, I kinda see why. Every time she speaks it's like standing outside naked during winter. I feel bad for her.

Sakura leans closer to me, her cleavage exposed.

"Please, Otonashi, Do the entrance exam tomorrow." Flickering her hair out of her face as Sakura's eyes shifted to a puppy's

A bit overexaggerated Sakura but considering I don't really have anything to do as of right now. I might as well.

"Fine..." I sigh. Our hands connect as Sakura handshakes me.

"Congratulations, now bye. My room is on the top floor, by the way, come see me aft--" Sakura spoke so quick a blue light consumes me.

WHAT?! Huh, I touch the concrete. Ah, a road. BUT COME ON SAKURA?!? FINISH YOUR SENTENCE FIRST! AND IT'S 11PM?!
