Henry woke up without understanding what had happened and how long he had been there. He was still inside the same room as before, but the Nephilim was no longer there, and the door behind him was closed.
Why did he wake up? Malcolm was attacking the stone door, yet he could not do anything.
"Joshua, are you sure your brother is inside?"
"You saw the tracks yourself. He was here with me, but when I woke up, I was alone. The only thing inside this cave is this door!" Joshua said.
Although he disliked his brother, there was no reason for him to lie. When Henry heard the voices coming from the other side, he slowly got up and said, "Father, I am here!"
"Henry? Are you alright? Can you leave?" Malcolm said.
He had been so worried about his son, but now at least, he knew Henry was alive. After fighting the wolves, Malcolm quickly tracked Henry and found Joshua there.
Before Henry tried to open the door to leave, he checked his system's tab and noticed there were two new skills.
[Holy Talent (Passive, Rank ???): Increases the user's talent for Holy Magic, allowing an easier understanding of the spells while also having increased power in Holy Spells.]
[Holy Wings(Active, Rank ???): Gives the user wings, allowing the user to fly while also increasing the user's basic attributes by 25%.]
It was the two things the Nephilim said Henry would have, his wings and his talent for the Holy Magic.
Henry was happy about it, and now he could start practicing magic too! The only problem was where to find the magical tomes, but he would find a way later.
He also noticed a new tab inside his system called 'Elemental Affinity.'
There was only one thing in there: his Holy Affinity.
<Holy Affinity: Grade 1>
"There's also something in my attributes."
[Henry Lionheart]
[Level: 3]
[Exp: 0/200]
[Attributes:
[Strength: 6]
[Dexterity: 6]
[Vigor: 1]
[Wisdom: 1]
[Spiritual Force: 0]
[Holy Essence: 1]
[Free points: 0]
"I am starting to get how this works," Henry thought.
Strength, Dexterity, and Vigor helped his body, making it stronger. Henry guessed that if he started practicing the knight's breathing technique, his Spiritual Force would increase, and with it, other benefits would come, but he was not sure what these benefits would be.
Now, each person has an affinity to elements, and Henry's only one was Holy.

"Does it work similarly to Spiritual Force? So if I practice using the meditations suited for the Holy users, my Holy Essence will increase?"
That was the only thing that made sense to him, but only time would tell if he was correct. So what Henry wanted now was to leave that room and eat something.
Henry was happy after getting new skills but also sad as he noticed absorbing that Nephilim did not give him any experience points, and he was still level 3.
"Calm down, Henry. Your father killed many wolves, so there will be meat for us," he thought as he pushed the door open.
Malcolm stepped back when he noticed the door was opening, and when Henry looked okay, he sighed in relief, moving toward his son, and hugging him. Then, as he hugged Henry, Malcolm gazed at the strange room Henry came out of and saw the chains, the spike, and a lot of blood as if something was trapped in there.
He also noticed two ripped parts of Henry's shirt and his cloak — where the wings came out of, but they went back inside Henry's back.
"What happened to my son? Is he alright?"
It was not uncommon for creatures to try to possess others, especially a child like Henry, as he was vulnerable. But, being experienced like Malcolm, he could tell if Henry was possessed in a few days.
"If he's not my son, I will know it. Also, we can pass by the church for a cleansing," Malcolm thought, grabbing Henry, putting him on his shoulder, and returning to the village.
Joshua was not looking that happy to see Henry was alright, and he returned home with a displeased face, but every time Malcolm looked at him, he would return to his normal one. Thus, Malcolm felt nothing was strange.
As for all the beasts, the other hunters helped Malcolm to take their bodies away — the wolves, at least, as the people in the village could eat these.
The werewolf remained there, and even after it died, it did not return to its human form, so no one could know who it was, but that was not important anymore. What was important was that the attacks on the village's cattle would stop, and Malcolm's sons were okay.
When they returned to the village, Jenifer, the little girl who went hunting with them, came to check on Henry. That made Pete, the boy who had a crush on her, mad, but she could not care less about that.
"Son!" Fiona said, leaving her home when she saw Henry.
She hugged him and could finally relax, knowing her son was alive.
"Come, I made us dinner," she said.
Henry only then realized it was already night-time, and he had been inside that cave for at least 6 hours.
"I made them worry about me, but at least now I have new powers to make them proud," Henry thought.
Their dinner did not have any magical beast's meat, meaning Henry got no experience points, but it was still lovely to eat and fill up his belly. He was a kid, and to grow, he needed to eat.
After dinner, Henry lay on his hay bed and slept like a rock. That was one of the best nights he had, and by the time morning came, Henry was refreshed, feeling like a new person.
Also, when he woke up, he noticed Malcolm preparing some backpacks.
"Father, what are these for?" Henry asked.
"Henry? Are you alright?"
"Yes, way better than yesterday."
"Good, good," Malcolm said, explaining what he was doing.
"We need some supplies we cannot get in this village, so we are going into a nearby town to get them. So you and I, as your brother, will stay here to help mom."
"A trip only the two of us? Awesome!"
Henry wanted to explore the world, not only the outskirts of a small village, and that was the perfect chance to do so. All that without his brother annoying him made everything a thousand times better!
