And now they have Tamuro?" A tall man with glasses and short, blonde hair wearing a black trench coat stated.

"And they're going to get another one now" a short, black haired woman replied. "Their plan is to unite all the local koshomuras that they can"

"Yes, but my only concern is Tamuro. Send your Karasu to gather more information"

"Yes, Mr.Erijime"

The girl then closed her eyes and channeled energy as her aura built. Crows began circling above her until they dispersed and flew in different directions.

"Is there anything else, Mr.Erijime?" The girl stated.

"No, Mioki" Tabuke stated as he walked away. "Just focus on finding Tamuro"

                                *MEANWHILE*

Mashiko and Shira were walking through the ransacked city. The sun was shining, and grass was growing through the concrete and road pavement.

"You know, this isn't that bad" Mashiko stated as she walked in the middle of the street. "Even though this entire city is trashed, it feels alot better without the commotion caused by humans"

"I don't think that's true" Shira stated. "This doesn't feel weird to you"

"What do you mean, Shira?" Mashiko asked.

"The absence of a city's whole essence, which is the people, is weird" Shira stated. "Look at this"

Shira pointed at a damaged building across the street.

"That bowling alley used to be the most populated place here" he explained. "Now, there's nothing left of it"

"Inside that bowling alley is also where countless innocent people were robbed, forced to fight, and even killed" Mashiko stated. "Why do you think they changed the time they closed to 1 in the morning to 8 at night?"

"I never knew, i was never one for bowling"

"The amount of people who were affected by Tabuke doesn't compare to the amount of people who lost themselves in a life of crime" Mashiko stated. "I'm just disappointed that it took something like this for those numbers to dwindle"

"Speaking of dwindling, there's our guy".

Mashiko and Shira crouched down and watched some kid rummage through what remains of a damaged building.

"What is he doing?" Shira whispered as he moved forward.

The boy they were watching equipped a small tube of black paint. He dipped his fingers in the paint and painted marks on his face, wrists, and ankles. The boy the lifted up his pants to reveal a big scar he had.

"That has to hurt" Mashiko stated. "He needs our help"

Just as Mashiko and Shira were moving in, a crow flew in and landed on the roof of the building the boy was in. The crow looked directly at Shira and Mashiko.

"AWWW" the crow cawed. "AWWW, AWWW"

The crow made Mashiko and Shira lose sight of the boy.

"Damn, where did he go?" Shira stated.

"He probably went further inside the building" Mashiko stated.

The crow signaled for the rest of them to come and soon a dozen crows were circling in the air.

"Let's get him quickly."

"Okay!"

After taking a few steps, she stopped.

"Wait" she said as she turned around. "Those crows are being used by somebody. We can't let them see what we're doing."

"You're right, but if we attack them, whoever's in control will assume that were doing something we don't want them to see."

"Then make sure they're not able to return to whoever's controlling them" Mashiko responded before walking into the building.

"Alright, let's go Kintaro!" Shira stated as he built his green aura. His muscle definition increased as his hair grew a bit longer and turned a dark green color.

Mashiko built her aura as well as the air around her became cold. She equipped a staff that formed out of nowhere as her hair turned sky blue. Ice began forming in a line towards the building. She began to slide on it. Three of the crows swooped down at her. But, she made an orb of ice around her. Once they hit the orb, the crows fell to the ground as ice grew on them until they were encased in ice. Shira jumped forward and picked those ice blocks up. The rest of the crows rushed in at him as he launched one of the blocks of ice up at them. The crows flew around it. Shira squatted as he focused his energy into his legs until -

                         *SWOOSH*

He leaped into the air to where the crows were. The ground beneath him was trembled by the force. He swiped his arm through the air as it created a gust that pushed the crows back. Meanwhile, Mashiko made her way into the building. There wasn't much left of it.

"Hey" Mashiko called out. "I know you're in here and I know you're wounded. I can help you, if you allow me to. Just let me know where you are"

A few moments went by with no response.

"Yeah, that never works...but this will"

Mashiko closed her eyes and released a gust of snowy-wind that zoomed through each room.

"I can sense anything that this snow happens to touch" Mashiko stated. "Soon, you won't be able to hide"

"There you are" Mashiko thought as she opened her eyes and leaped forward.

                               *MEANWHILE*

Yoto and another guy were running in field. Yoto was carrying a wooden stick on his back that a teapot and cup and the other guy was carrying two pots. They made their way to Inyo who was sitting near a firepit waiting for them.

"Finally, I've been waiting for 5 hours" Inyo stated.

"The walking distance was  more than 50 hours, with shallow you two were able to cut it short" Tamuro stated.

"Well Yoto, Masami, let's see it" Inyo stated.

Yoto placed the teapot and cup in front of Inyo and Masami placed the two pots. Inyo placed the teapot on the fire and removed the tops from the two pots. One pot contained three sugar cubes and the other contained some tea leaves.

"These tea leaves and sugar cubes are special" Inyo said as he dumped them into the teapot full of water. "This water is special too. They are crafted with the purpose of providing the most optimal taste. And the dynamic movement of running with shallow would agitate them and corrupt that special taste. That's why it was your mission to run to and from where you got them with shallow to keep them perfectly still despite running. If I can taste the difference, you will continue to repeat this until I cannot"

Inyo took the whistling teapot off the heat and poured some into the cup. He closed his eyes as he blew on it until he took a few sips.

He then opened his eyes and looked directly at Yoto.

"Perfect."

He then dropped the cup and it broke into many pieces.

"That tea is good, you should try it."

Masami got another cup and poured some tea for himself.

"This tea tastes regular to me" Masami stated after taking a few sips. "Hey, are you sure this is the special tea you were talking about?"

"Maybe" Inyo replied. "But the important thing is, you completed the exercise"

"So we did that for nothing!?!" Masami stated as he looked back at Yoto. "Tch"

Masami and Yoto followed after Inyo.

"So, what's the next thing we're doing?" Yoto stated.

"I have a few more basics to teach before you start exploring the capabilities of your specific koshomura" Inyo stated as he stopped. "Like this"

Inyo turned around and faced Yoto and Masami. He held his hand out as his aura built. He created a barrier of shallow around them.

"This is Asaimotumo, a force field created by shallow energy" Inyo stated. "This is something any capable koshomura is going to be able to do, you have to be used to dealing with things like this. Now, channel your shallow and release it to break out of it"

Masami and Yoto both built their aura.

"Now use your shallow energy against mine" Inyo instructed.

Masami walked closer to the barrier and placed his hand on it. His shallow collided with Inyo's.

"First, you have to assess the density of your opponents shallow to overpower it."

"How?" Yoto asked.

"Feel the pressure it's exerts in comparison to your own."

Yoto walked up and placed his arm on the barrier as well. Masami and Yoto both began to concentrate. Slowly, it felt like pieces of Inyo's barrier were fading. Before they could realize, the barrier was broke.

"Wha-" Yoto said stunned. "I didn't even..."

"Subconsciously breaking through the barrier?" Inyo stated. "You must have a generous amount of shallow."

"We must learn to do it even faster" Masami exclaimed.

"Don't worry, these practices will become automatic to you. But about that one more thing I want to show the both of you." Inyo stated as he turned around and faced the fire pit. "Shallow is a common energy shared amongst koshomuras. But what's not common, is the inherited abilities one gets from their specific koshomura. Both of you have unique abilities due to the being within you."

Inyo held his hand out to the fire pit and built his aura. Doing this make the fire spike and roar with large flames.

"Woah" Yoto thought as the sight of it made him move back a little.

Inyo then made the fire die down, until it eventually went out.

"To find your unique abilities, you have to know your kosho" Inyo stated. "Depending on the relationship you have with your kosho, it can be difficult."

Inyo turned and faced Masami and Yoto.

"So that leads to the question, how well is your relationship with your kosho?"
