With a quick teleport from alastair back to the ship and the party was off to the frozen northern kingdom that bordered the arborian highlands and first forest above which floated Yggdrasil. "any idea what to expect from this frozen kingdom?" alastair asked the party curiously while relaxing on the ship. "the auld king was a just but firm man last i knew of him but that was ages ago i'm afraid." rab says honestly. "we didn't have much to do with the kingdom but we do know that the old king past away four years ago in his sleep leaving his daughter to take the throne." veronica said.

Alastair groaned when he heard that the ruler of the kingdom was once again a women which earned a chuckle from the party. "i don't suppose i can sit this one out while you guys take care of it can i?" he asked hopeful. "oh? are you worried that you will have to add someone else to the list?" jade teased him with a smirk. alastair turned to erik with a friendly smile. "erik buddy , best friend how about you take this one instead?" he asked with a pleading look despite the smile.

"I think I'll pass thanks." erik said with a smirk. alastair looked at sylvando but didn't speak as the man in question was shaking his head already. "yeah now that i think about it total extinction doesn't sound that bad , well it was nice knowing all of you." alastair says dramatically. "ah suck it up lad its for a good cause." rab said trying to comfort alastair. "do any of you understand how hard it is to satisfy so many women at once? i feel like a juiced lemon afterwards." alastair complains with a sad expression.

The entire party laughs at the mental image that popped into their heads from what alastair describes. alastair huffs before jumping off the ship into the frigid waters below to vent off his frustrations. needless to say the local sea monster population took a severe hit before alastair was satisfied with his work. the trip around the northern part of the continent was fairly short taking only a week to reach the glowing sea area that sent the ship to sniffleheim. the trip through the glowing spot was rather interesting as marina used some sort of magic to flirt with alastair the trip.

The part docked the ship at the port that was large enough to hold the stallion before alastair saw something odd. "why does it look like the entire front gate is frozen solid?" he asked seriously. "that's odd , even with the weather they usually make sure to keep the gate clear of any frost." rab said seriously. "i guess I'll give it a go at melting that frost so we can enter." alastair said before launching a stream of fire at the frost. surprisingly the frost was mostly unaffected by the flames which irked alastair so he increased the intensity of the flames turning them blue.

These new flames immediately caused the frost to start hissing as if it was melting before a blast of magic shoot from it towards alastair. thankfully the intuition perk warned alastair allowing him to block the magic with a barrier spell but the sheer power behind the spell surprised him since it felt almost as dense as his own. alastair frowned when the force of the attacking spell ended before telling the rest of the part about it. the information obviously bothered them since it didn't make much sense as they had never heard of anyone with that sort of power in this area.

"Well since the front entrance is blocked is there another entrance we could use?" alastair asked seriously. "there aught to be a side entrance if ma memory is not failing me." rab said while pointing at a unmaintained path to the left of the gate. the party followed the path which had frozen dirt and a few tundra weeds that refused to die from the cold. the side entrance just so happen to be openable with the magic key which is what alastair did only for the party to gasp at what was on the inside of the city.

The entire city was buried under a thick layer of ice with even the citizen being completely frozen in place. the party entered the city with serious expressions while alastair had a mass of mana gathered in his hand for any unknown threats. as they walked they soon reached the center of the city where they found a single women in a thick furred dress standing next to a fire. rab saw the symbol on the women's clothes and revealed that she was likely the queen of sniffleheim.

Alastair stayed back while the others spoke to the queen who was named fryssabell to learn what had happened to the city. even though alastair hung back the queen still seemed to focus her attention on him but not with any sort of attraction but rather it seemed like she was fascinated by him. it felt like how one would look at something that shouldn't exist , a sort of curiosity that begged to be answered. this difference from normal women interested alastair greatly so he couldn't help but ask about it which had the queen acting defensively while denying his claims.
