Rayleigh showed up after the battle and promised to teach alastair haki in thanks for saving the slaves. alastair brushed it off as something any decent person aught to do to which rayleigh laughed and agreed. what no one noticed is that a small girl with black hair looked up at alastair with stars in her eyes. alastair used his ship to sail the slaves to their hometowns while using magic to removing their brands while rayleigh and his wife went with them since their ship wasn't large enough to transport that many people.
