Chapter 92: Conversation

Paarthurnax observed the caution alastair was showing in his approach and found this understandable due to the dovah's innate aggresion to others in their territory. channeling his voice paarthurnax spoke to the world and sent his message to the unknown kin. "BO , come!" the words rolled through the air around alastair and the group. this surprised alastair since this use of the thu'um had not be seen in the game. alastair didn't hesitate anymore once he received this invitation and flew towards the monastery near the summit to drop of jade marina and orion who wanted to come as well.

The greybeards greeted the group cautiously but mostly in a polite manner while maintaining vigilance towards erisa and alastair. when erisa transformed back into her human form each of the elderly men looked like their eyes were gonna fall out. alastair left the rest of the group behind and headed up to the peak of the mountain where he saw the rough looking bronze dragon watching him calmly. landing on the flat area across from paarthurnax alastair changed back into his human form and greeted the elder dragon politely. "greeting paarthurnax." he said while bowing to show his respect.

"Drem yol lok foreign dovah." paarthurnax said calmly while observing alastair with obvious curiosity. "what brings you here to my stunmah , my mountain?" he asked curiously. "i am new to this world and thought to seek you out for guidance." alastair answered honestly. "loan , you have questions or do you seek paaz , permission?" paarthurnax asked while looking at alastair like he could see through him. alastair was surprised "how did you know?" he asked seriously. paarthurnax chuckled "you are dovah , being from another lein , world matters little to our kinds thoughts." he said honestly.

Alastair couldn't help but laugh "so it was my own nature that betrayed me." he joked. "how did you know i was from a different world?" alastair asked not overly concerned about this secret having been exposed. "you lack the rii do fin nirn or in your words the essence of nirn , to those who can sense these things you are like the shul , the sun , hard to miss." paarthurnax said honestly. alastair nodded " i understand , what would you suggest i do since fate itself may shift at my mere presence." he asked remembering what had occurred in the one piece world.

"Indeed , even now i can feel tiid , time shuddering under your weight. hmmm , return here in a month and i shall have your answer." paarthurnax said before entering a deep meditation. alastair then walked down the path to the summit totally ignoring the razor winds that tried to send him over the side of the mountain. the greybeards were all still waiting for alastair with the group in the courtyard. arngeir the only one who can speak without consequences was conversing with erisa about the dragovian race in fascination. the conversation paused when everyone saw alastairs figure walking calmly down the treacherous path and into the paths gateway.

Alastair walked out of the wind wall like he was entirely unaffected by it which greatly alarmed the greybeards since no man was so durable. this thought was replaced with the image of alastair flying up to the peak of the mountain and they visibly relaxed. arngeir spoke up when alastair got near "so you are the one called alastair who had gone to speak with our leader." he said calmly. alastair looked at him and nodded "and you are arngeir the youngest of the greybeards." he said teasingly. arngeir was surprised at alastairs knowledge but caught the teasing tone in his words.

"It would seem your companions words of your mysterious knowledge is true." arngeir said flatteringly. "i only have some knowledge of things , there is much that i don't know." alastair said honestly. after a brief chat with arngeir alastair and the group head down the mountain following the path killing a certain frost troll along the way. when they reached iverstead at the base of the mountain alastair was surprised to find a familiar red head preparing to head up the steps.

Alina was stunned at first when she saw alastairs group leaving the path to high hrothgar right when she was about to make her way up there. "what are you doing here?" she asked boldly ignoring the threatening looks alastairs wives were giving her. "went to talk with the old dudes at the top of the mountain , the same you are planning correct?" alastair asked calmly. alina nodded "aye , they summoned me a bit before you showed up at winterhold and I've been putting the visit off." she explained honestly. "anything i should look out for when i head up?" she asked seriously. alastair shook his head "saw a troll along the path on the way down but we killed it so the path should be pretty safe." alastair answered honestly.
