It was a beautiful day. Truly, the birds were chirping melodies known only to them, the sun was warm, yet not too intense. The winter breezes were just right, refreshing and cooling. Then, why on Earth did my muscles feel sluggishly slow, like they had been turned to leads? Why did I feel gross, as though I hadn't bathed in weeks? Oh-Right, I got my arse handed to me by Kotomine last night, didn't I? Well, on the bright side… I looked at the sleeping Queen next to me, her expression unexpectedly serene as her nose and ears twitched cutely. Gilgamesh probably took me with her after the fight, which was nice of her.

A real shame I couldn't have been awake to enjoy the night. Surely, the Queen Of Heroes must have have for a decent bedmate, no? "Pssst… Your Majesty, are you awake?"

No answer, as expected, she was still asleep. Although, to be fair, it was five-o'clock in the morning. Even I normally wouldn't have been up at this time of the day. I very carefully navigated the bed, untangling my limbs from Gilgamesh's dainty, yet surprisingly strong hands. Spread the news, people: The Queen Of Heroes was a cuddler! But, in all seriousness, I was really struggling to get out over here… At some points during the night, Gilgamesh had reached out from her side of the bed, fingers clamping tight on my arms. Usually, I'd have been ecstatic with the situation, but…

Well, being filthy as rags kind of put a damper on things. My hair was matted with blood, sweats and knots. My skin still broken and bruised from last night debacle in spite of my regenerative healing factor. At least my bones weren't crushed to bits and pieces anymore, that's something I supposed. "Your Majesty–" I whispered in her ear, chuckling when I saw her face scrunch up in irritation. "Can you let me go? I need to go clean myself up." Minutes later and some more tugging, I was finally able to free my arms from the grumbling Queen. Afterwards, I quickly escaped to the bathroom to freshen up.

Damn, was I an ugly sight to gaze upon, my skin was deathly pale with tinges of dark purple poking out from underneath my clothes. My long and curly black hair was dotted and stained with droplets of blood that had dried and seemingly fused to my head. I didn't just feel terrible, I also very much looked the part. That priest really didn't hold anything back. Was he trying to kill me?! I splashed cold water on my face, scrubbing away the dirt and grimes as I groaned to myself. "Good Gods–" I touched the bruise that was slowly forming over my eyebrow as gentle as I could. "I can't possibly go to school looking like this…"

Which, to be honest, was kind of beneficial for me, no? I could spend more on Magecraft that way. While I doubted one single day could propel my research in any significant capacity, it was still better than nothing, but first… "[Status]." Although it hadn't been too long since I last checked my Stats, surely it couldn't hurt to do so again? Yes, my Game was a nerfed, Walmart-version of the original, but one thing I had found was my Stats gains were remarkably easier and faster when I was faced with an impossible obstacle such as the fused Regul and a somewhat serious Kotomine.

Basically, the longer I could last against someone out of my league, the faster my Stats gains. Say what you wanted about my Game, but credits where credits were due, it was quite fair in its assessment. Which was why I wasn't surprised when I saw my Stats had risen up to fifteen points in total. It didn't sound like much, but believe me when I said it was quite the boost to my capability. Remember, the higher my Stats, the harder I'd have to train. In fact, if I were to be honest, I had never even gotten this much points in weeks of training, let alone one afternoon-spar.

It seemed my former Title: [A Queen's New Pet] had also received an upgrade, likely thanks to me being pushed up from mongrel to Leonis last night. It hadn't changed much compared to its inferior counterpart, but [A Queen's Object Of Interest] offered quite a few bonuses, which included Gilgamesh's affection, 35% in all Skills Development and funnily enough, the privilege to be referred to with my name by Gilgamesh. Well, the 35% increase in all Skills Development was going to be incredibly useful, especially when it came to making new Spells to further add to my growing repertoire.

With this Title in effect, maybe I wouldn't need to put my Magecraft on hold as I had initially thought. Unfortunately, that was the end of all the rewards I had gotten from last night debacle. Still, I couldn't exactly complain, since this had far exceeded my expectations– It was all I could have asked for and more… I wiped my face with my handkerchief, throwing it in the miniature trash can once I saw the stains on it. I turned on the shower, feeling the cold water hitting against my skin in comfortable rhythm and hoping that Gilgamesh wouldn't too mad with me for using the bathroom without her permission. 'Eh, she will get over it…'

Suddenly, I heard noises from outside as her voice entered my ears. "You sure are making yourself comfortable in my chamber, aren't you?" I chuckled back humorlessly. "Well, I didn't feel like going all the way to my room just to take a shower when I could just do it here." I could almost see and hear Gilgamesh's eyes narrow at my insolence. "We are not friends, Leonis? Do you want to be downgraded back to a mere mongrel? Need I remind you of your position?" I shrugged, continuing to run my hands through my matted hair as I shouted back.

"Oh, lighten up, your Majesty. It couldn't hurt to let me borrow your bathroom for a bit, right?" Not hearing a reply, I hurriedly added. She wouldn't go apeshit on me over something this trivial, right? "I'm already in the shower booth, I'll be quick. Just give me ten minutes to finish things up…" Never been one to take long shower anyways, though that's mostly due to the cold. For you kids at home, here's a small tip: Cold shower did actually give you a boost in concentration and wakefulness, professional athletes didn't just do it out of a need to sate their masochistic tendencies.

"Fine, I will enter with you." Wait, what? "WHY?" I yelped, covering my body as the Queen pushed her way inside. What? I was shy, alright! She's a ridiculously beautiful woman, and I was an eight years old taking a cold-shower… Right now, there's not much to see down there. Don't look at me like that, you all would have been reacted the same way I did if this were you in this situation! "What are you covering yourself for?" I didn't know why, but being questioned by Gilgamesh, whose face still had that infuriating smirk just made the whole thing that much more embarrassing for me.

"Jesus H. Christ! Can't you wait for a few minutes? I'm almost done!" I didn't even think it was possible, but her grin, which reminded me of a lioness playing with her preys, widened even further. "'Lion Strength', that's the translation of your name, act accordingly, Leonis."

I turned around, grumbling beneath my breaths as I quickly scrubbed my body of the blood and grimes, staring in repulsion as what looked like sewer-water trickled down my form. "I'm sorry I'm not an exhibitionist like you…" Jesus, all that was on me? I hadn't been this filthy in ages, not even the Apostle Hunt had left me in this state. While I was stuck in my own mind, Gilgamesh had– Well, not undressed since she wasn't wearing anything in the first place, but she had filled up the tub and heated with a sword. No, you didn't hear it wrong, she heated it with a flaming, sword-shaped Mystic Code.

I was speechless, such a cool weapon, reduced to mere instant heater– The Magus who made it would be rolling in his grave if he were to witness the scene. After throwing an excessive amount of rose-petals in the bathtub, Gilgamesh stalked towards me. Uh-oh. "Uhmmm… W– What are you doing, your Majest- Yyyy?" Before I knew it, she had grabbed me, throwing me on her shoulder like a stack of potatoes. I was helpless against the assault, her supernatural strength easily overwhelming mine. "Keep it down, little Lion." She glanced at my private part and I bristled at the slight.

"Hey! I'm a kid, it will grow alright!" Damn, if only this had been a hentai World, with my looks, I'd be rocking bad bitches in my free time. And no, I didn't get a hard-on or anything along that line. While abusing [Reinforcement] to the point of unhealthiness had indeed accelerated my growth compared to my peers, physically I was still just a wee-boy– The classic case of the spirit was willing, but the flesh was not. Never thought it would happen to me, but here we were… "What exactly are you doing, your Majesty?" I spat with as much anger as I could muster through the haze of embarrassment.

Although, from the looks of it, my faux anger had not only failed to deter her, but it had also served to amuse Gilgamesh even further as she threw me inside the gaudy bathtub. "I need a servant to tend to my body, you will be that today–" I was ready to interrupt, but Gilgamesh shushed. "And don't pretend you haven't thought of putting your hands on me…" Her mouth was inches away from my cheek now, and I could actually feel her hot breaths tickling my ear tauntingly. I was wrong. The flesh was willing, extremely so in fact when there was enough stimulation.

Ahh, fuck it. "I'm in, where do you want me to scrub first?" I questioned, eyes glued on the perfection that was before me. If I turned this down, I wouldn't just be a bitch, I might as well give up my manhood altogether. I grabbed one of the towels Gilgamesh had set down, tying it to my waist as I sat and waited patiently for the Queen to settle in place. Her entry was surprisingly gentle, her feet slowly dipping into the calm surface as she sank inside, her lower-half and waist now hidden under the petals.

She gave me a confident smirk, then brought up her arm, gesturing for me to wash the offered limb. I gladly obliged, moving up and down her arm. I had touched Gilgamesh before, but being able to truly feel and enjoy the heat of her body and the silk-like softness of her skin was new to me. My fingers danced against the offered limb with finesse and expertise I didn't know I had as the Queen Of Heroes hummed in satisfaction. "You are doing well, Leonis… Not the best massage I've had, but it's not too terrible." I didn't reply, opting to put in even more efforts.

I moved from her arms, going slowly over to her back. I hadn't realized before since my attention was always drawn to other places, but she had a really nice back. Spotless and smooth like the top of a recently-opened jar of butter. I continued with my massage, moving from her back to the underside of her breasts. It was so tempting to just press my hands on them 'till they had turned red, but I managed to reign in the urge as I cautiously navigated my way through those soft mounds, only poking and pinching lightly at her nipples on occasions.

Then, my hands gradually snaked down to her arse, sinking deep into the elastic and supple flesh as I squeezed and kneaded her ass-cheeks to my heart's desire. Still, I was careful with my actions. Slow and steady might not always win the race, but it's definitely the safe option in my current situation.

I must have spent more time there than I thought, since Gilgamesh pried my hands away seconds later, her sharp, ruby-red gaze boring into mine arrogantly. She was facing me now, her breasts inches away from my mouth as I stomped down hard on the sudden urge to suckle on those beautiful pink pearls. "That's– Hahh– That's enough, Leonis…" She spoke through breathy moans. "There are other places that you must attend to…" With that said, the Queen Of Heroes sat on the bathtub rim as her legs opened invitingly.

I had to remind myself that I had seen her in her birthday suit dozens of times already. That didn't help, not at all. The small patch of blonde hair on her vagina couldn't hide the pink, circular-shaped flesh poking through right under it, it certainly couldn't hide the strings of sticky wetness that had spread and was trickling down her thighs. Good Gods, it was a wonderful sight, more so than anything I had seen. I felt like a man in the Sahara, dying of thirst only to be presented with an oasis as I dived in greedily, tongue ready to lick and lap at the clear liquid streaming from her lady bit.

I still remembered the first time I had sex. I couldn't tell who it was, but I remembered smelling the most foul scent and tasting the saltiest liquid I had ever had the displeasure of dipping my tongue in. There was none of that here. I wasn't sure if it was thanks to the Divinity coursing through her veins, or just her unnecessarily-expensive daily self-care routine, but her honeypot had the scent of roses and the taste of lightly sweetened tea. I paused, hearing a groan of disappointment from Gilgamesh, which was soon cut short as I began to rain kisses on her inner-thighs.

I wasn't much of a fuckboy in my last life, but I had experienced enough in my school years to know that sometimes, it's the anticipation that made up half the pleasure. Thus, despite my instinct screaming at me to get back in there, I slowly traced kisses and nibbles near her slit, careful to not actually touch it with my tongue and lips. Finally, seemingly fed up, Gilgamesh pressed my face directly against her bit as she rested her legs on my shoulders. "K– KeEp it uP, I'm– Ah– I'm almost there." Who was I to deny the lady? And so, I kept at it for nearly five minutes.

First, I only lightly swirled my tongue at her labia, which quickly escalated to me digging into her core. Today, I learnt that my tongue, under the right motivations, could stretch itself far longer than I could have ever imagined. But, that wasn't enough, neither for me nor her. So I decided to listen to my instinct as I let my hands roam up her legs, one clutching harshly to her waist, the other clamping down on her ass-cheek in order to get in deeper. It didn't take long for Gilgamesh to reach her orgasm, one that lasted for half a minute as she sprayed her fluid inside my awaiting mouth.

"Y– You…" She slid into the bathtub, breathing heavily as I took in her disheveled appearance with a wide, toothy grin. "You d– did–?!" I didn't let her finish, swiftly shoving three fingers in her as she let out another drawn-out moan. From her expression, I could tell she wasn't sure if she should be angry at my insolence, or compliment me for actually managing to get another orgasm out of her, and so soon after the first too. "How was it, your Majesty?" I smirked at the vexed Queen. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't feeling quite good about myself. "Did I meet your expectations?"

"That was…" She paused, glowering at me. Was it weird of me that I found an angry Queen Of Heroes unimaginably and inconceivably attractive? "Decent. You may leave now, this Queen has no use for your presence anymore." I bobbed my head and swaggered out. What? I wasn't going to make her return the favor! That's a one way ticket to meet Gods. Besides, I was satisfied anyways, real sex could be waited until my balls could actually produce something instead of shooting blank-rounds all the time. "See ya' later, your Majesty."

I winked at her, and in response, Gilgamesh merely rolled her eyes. Although, what she said next did bring my hope for a second time up significantly. "Leonis, do better in your spars, and perhaps I'll let you do even more next time." Yup, this was definitely worth getting my ass beat black and blue by Kotomine. Today was a beautiful day indeed.

"– Leo, where on Earth are you right now? Are you at the Church?!" I clutched my ringing ears, I had almost forgotten how big a lung that girl got on her. Seriously, would it kill her to keep it down a bit? I loved Rin to death, but sometimes I felt like she often had a tendency to overreact. In all fairness though, wasn't that basically every woman ever? "Rin, relax. I'm alright, last night spar just went a bit poorly for me. No, I'm not mortally injured or anything, I'm just recovering so I can't come to school today." Schools were boring, period.

"– Are you sure? Do you need me over to take care of you? I have perfect attendance, so if you need, I can just ask for the afternoon off." I chuckled into the phone. Despite her rude and sometimes rather hurtful comments, Rin was really caring. Now I understood why people in the Original often said Rin was a terrible Magus. She was too nice, too kind to be put in the same  "Nah, there's no need to. I healed fast, remember?" Rin didn't reply for a while, I nearly thought he had bung up, but then I heard multiple people on her side. "Rin, where exactly are you calling from?"

"– I'm in the infirmary…" Infirmary, was she hurt? As though having heard my thoughts, Rin continued. "– No, I'm not hurt, I couldn't find you in any part of the school, so I thought to borrow their phone and give you a check up." Hmmm, that's cute of her. "– D- Don't get any weird thought, I'm just bored of not having anyone to talk to."

"What–" I smiled to myself. "Is that little fan-group of yours not enough?" Even through a phone, I could hear Rin gritting her teeth in frustration. Oh and yeah, Rin had a fan-group in elementary school. Apparently, to these children, being born in a prestigious family and consistently being put as No. 1 in the entire school in term of academic pursuit was cool. Japan was a weird place. Where I came from, people called those like Rin 'nerds', 'geeks' and all kinds of derogatory names. Though, if I were to be honest, Rin's good looks would have given her a bit of leeway with the 'cool kids'.

"– Firstly, they are not my fans, they are my… Acquaintances." Coulda' fooled me. "– Secondly, half of them can't even hold an intellectual conversation for more than a minute without being distracted by a random butterfly…" That's harsh, but not untrue though. It's actual nightmares trying to keep a conversation going with these children. "– And lastly, SHUT UP, IDIOT!" Ah, that's the Rin I knew.

I jumped on the wooden desk to sit, still holding the phone to my ear. I couldn't wait for mobile phones to actually start to be a thing in Japan. It was getting real annoying having to stand in the same spot in order to have a conversation. "So, did anything happen there today? Shinji perhaps." I spat the brat's name from my mouth. Matou Shinji was a piece of shit, and I was saying that not just because he was a disgusting rapist, his personality was rotten to the core. I swore, every interaction and encounter I had had with him so far had made me want to choke the life out of him.

"– Shinji is… Shinji. He's annoying as always, but he hasn't done anything that can be considered out of line. To be honest, nothing interesting happens. Although…" Rin paused for a split second, then carried on as though nothing happened. "– A girl was looking for you from what I've heard. The redhead with messy hair and amber eyes, you know her?" Was, was that jealousy I was hearing in her tone? "Yeah, Shiro Emiya. I saved her life during the Fuyuki Fire, she isn't… Well mentally. I think she's experiencing a really bad case of survivor's guilt."

"– Is that so? Well, she was looking for you, I have no idea where she heard this from, but apparently she knows we are friends. It's how I came to know you weren't in class actually." Huh, was Shiro ever that resourceful in the Original Works? "– Said she wanted to talk to you about something, I'm not sure what it is, but from what I've gathered, it has something to do with 'Heroes'? Shinji and her are acquaintances by the way, I really don't like the way he was looking at her." Shinji, you sonuvabitch, if you put even a finger on that girl, I was going to murder you, consequences be damned.

"Rin, listen carefully, keep an eye on those two and protect her from him for me, 'kay." I couldn't let Shinji of all people get his filthy paws on the gender-bent protagonist. That was going to be a horror-show when the Grail War came around. "– I can't, she left school already…" What? But it's only nine-o'clock, school didn't end until the afternoon? "– I- Uhmm, I kinda told her where you live since she was giving me 'very' intense stare. Whatever she wants to talk to you about, it must be important." Oh-fuck, Shiro was coming here?! Good Gods, I couldn't let the girl and her meet or we would have a doomsday scenario on our hands.

"Shit… Talk to you later, Rin. I must go NOW!" – "– What?! What's wrong, Le–!" I slammed the phone down as I raced to the doors, only managing to catch a last few panicked words from Rin as the call was disconnected. It was that I heard the doorbell rang. "Ah, shit…" This wasn't good, this wasn't good at all. I didn't think the situation could get any worse until I reached the door, where Gilgamesh and Shiro were having a stand-off. Well, more like Shiro was looking nervously at the Queen Of Heroes, while said Queen was give her a curious stare. "Oh-shit." I took it back. WORST. DAY. EVER. "Fuck me sideways..."

.

.

Shiro was confused. She had been in this state since she met and discussed things with her savior. He said he hadn't wanted to save her, that it was a mistake and that, if given the chance, he wouldn't have tried to save her at all. It's weird to her, because she knew he was lying. She had seen it in his face that night, she had seen it on her father's also. That wasn't an expression of a man who regretted his action. They wouldn't have been as serene and happy as his was. Now, Shiro would be lying if she said she was good at reading people, but something told her he was lying, more to himself than her.

She had taken the matter to her father, which didn't help since Kiritsugu Emiya, despite having been seemingly just as grateful as Leo for being able to save her life, also told her pretty much the same. Sure, he didn't phrase it like Leo did, he wasn't nearly as harsh, he just seemed forlorn and disappointed of himself. The two couldn't be any more different in personalities and reactions, yet both had the same opinions towards Heroes. Why was that? She simply couldn't wrap her head around the notion. Which was why she had decided she needed to talk to Leo today, if only to clear up the confusion that had plagued her since.

Needless to say, she was immensely disappointed when it turned out the boy in question was absent from school. Still, Shiro Emiya was a lot of things, but a quitter she was not. Thus began her little adventure to find hints and clues as to where her savior might have gone. Her investigation quickly led her to Rin Tohsaka– The smartest girl in school, the unofficial idol whose fanbase basically covered a third of the student body and nearly half the teaching staffs. "And why exactly do you want to know his address?"

"I wish to talk to him." She replied as a matter of fact, tilting her head in confusion as to why the school idol appeared rather irate at her. "YES!" The girl shouted, taking in a sharp intake of breath and let out an exasperated sigh. "I– I get that, but why? Can't whatever you want to say wait until tomorrow?" Shiro looked at the girl, at herself, then back at the girl again. "It's very important that I talk to him today…" She wasn't lying either, since the talk yesterday, Shiro's problems had gotten worse. It's almost like the idea of her being anything but a Hero made the phantoms restless to a point of complete insanity.

"Urgghh, fine! If you must know, he's living in the Church on the other side of Fuyuki. Now, go bother someone else!" The girl huffed angrily as she left Shiro to herself. The Church… Shiro knew where that was, her father had even warned her against going there in multiple separate occasions. Was Shiro going to let that stop her? Of course not. And so, in spite of her rationality telling her otherwise, Shiro quickly made an escape from her school. There were fences climbed, streets crossed and several wrong paths taken, but after an hour and twenty minutes, Shiro finally found herself at Leo's doorsteps.

She scanned the area. It was a pretty big Church, at least from her perspective. It looked like it had seen better days though. While not broken down, the walls outside seemed stained with brown liquid that gave off a slight metallic scent. The yard was overtaken by bushes and wild grasses, the path leading to the graveyard at the back had its pavements cracked and shattered and covered by stacks of broken furniture. What's worse was the ominous ambient aura that seemed to waft off the building in waves of resentment and anger, seeming to be enhanced even further by the pure whiteness of the walls themselves…

Her father was right, nothing good could be going on in this place. Still, Shiro didn't want to give up when she was so close already. She pushed open the gate, ears-perking to listen to any sound and noise that would indicate the presence of a living being. She heard nothing. Not even the chirpings of bird, or the skittering of insects. Now that she was mere feet away from the gigantic wooden door, Shiro could feel it. The unnaturalness of the building itself was one thing, but what she felt dwarfed all she had felt since the Fuyuki Fire. For the slightest instance, she couldn't help but doubt the fact her savior was living in this accursed place.

Maybe Rin was wrong? Or maybe it had been naught but an ill-mannered prank? Regardless, whatever was holing up here couldn't be good, that's for sure… And to add to her suspicion, the phantoms had gone into complete frenzy, appearing almost scared and desperate as their hands, claws and boney fingers pulled and grabbed at the helm of her skirt, begging, pleading and screaming for her to simply vacate the area and never come back.

As always, she ignored them. Not because she didn't believe in their warnings, but because if something fishy was going on, she needed to get to the bottom of it. If she couldn't even accomplish such a simple task, what hope was there for her to ever become a Hero? And if she couldn't achieve her dreams, if she couldn't repay the kindness she had been shown by those two, if she couldn't do goods, then there was nothing left to live for. Her parents– Her actual parents were gone, not just dead, but their memories too had disappeared to the winds when she abandoned the person she was to save herself.

Her emotions were muted, almost like they weren't her own, but someone else's felt and filtered through several layers of something. The only thing keeping her going was her desire to feel happy with herself. Some people might look at her and thought she was kind, that she was selfless, but Shiro knew the truth. None of that was true, t least not to her. Everything she did and wanted to do was nothing more than an attempt to be happy, even the desire to be a Hero, to sacrifice herself for the sake of others like Kiritsugu and Leo had done was for her own selfishness.

Which was why, in spite of the cries and screams and warnings the phantoms gave her, Shiro still decided to press on the bell, waiting patiently as she pressed her ear against the door to listen. It didn't take long for someone to open the door. Behind was revealed to be a woman in her twenties with golden blonde hair and unnatural, cat-like eyes. The woman gave her one look, then spoke, but Shiro couldn't hear anything. She couldn't even breathe properly as her senses were drowned in a sea of wails, shrieks and howls, all meshed together to create something that resembled what Shiro would imagine was Hell itself.

Amidst all that noises, Shiro only managed to catch one single word from the woman's mouth. "Interesting…"
