As I was about to say something, I felt a tug on my elbow. I turned my head around and saw the messy mouth of Asuka. The crumbs and sauce are all over her mouth. I took out the tissue and wiped it off. Then she continued eating her food. With the sudden interruption, my gaze went back to the couple again.

I then continued. “Oh yeah, it’s about Oishi-senpai... Don’t tell me Kanemoto-senpai used to save Oishi-senpai from bullies ever since your childhood days?”

That’s the story plotline I could only think of. For the fact that Oishi-senpai has this girly aura around him and his stature screams femininity because of that, I can only think that Oishi-senpai was bullied because of his femininity. As she showed her cutesy, it captured the hearts of the people nearby, even Maeda-senpai and Kanemoto-senpai. Thinking about it, the female worker who’s handling the food stall earlier only kept looking at me instead of Asuka. Something must be wrong with her eyes. How can’t she glance at this adorable cousin of mine?

I just hope Asuka won’t turn into a crazy person like her Onee-san’s.

After one roundabout trip to the zoo, I could finally feel the fatigue taking over me. I took Asuka to a nearby bench. With the face of satisfaction, she finally calmed down and became more obedient. Taking a look at my wristwatch, we’ve been here for about 3 hours. What a day...

I met a lot of girls who are in a group, approaching me intending to get my number or getting close to me.

But Asuka was feeling crummy whenever we would get approached by several women. That’s why I avoided them. I know it may seem harsh, but they wouldn’t stop bothering us if I didn’t do that. Of course, I used Asuka as an excuse for all of it. It’s super effective.

Reminiscing about all the things that happened to me this week, I feel like a burden inside my chest finally disappeared. As I stare at the clear blue sky, I gradually closed my eyes. But, after closing my eyes, an image of a red hair woman with heterochromatic eyes flickered in my mind. And an icy voice breeze whispered through my ears.

“Fate binds us together, forever.”

All the hair in my body stood up. I opened my eyes, trembling in fear. Every molecule in my body was shaking in fear. It felt real. No, it was real. I started looking around my surroundings and only saw the pack of people walking past us. Asuka noticed the trembling appearance of me she then looked up at me innocently, wondering what’s happening to me. But, I manage to calm myself down.

“Hoooo...”

Now, unto another topic which’s related to an earlier conversation with my two senpais at my club. When I’m talking to them, I’m getting some odd sensation from them. I feel like they’re not telling the truth. But why? Probably my overthinking tendencies again, but how Kanemoto-senpai handled the situation is too weird for me. I can’t describe it...

Perhaps, they’re just wary and don’t trust me, as to they lied to me. I can’t blame them, I would do the same if I don’t know the person too well. Then I remembered the stupid couple atmosphere around, still making me want to vomit somewhere.

Out of nowhere, a crying scream pierced through my ears near us; I looked in the direction and saw a crying boy who seems to be lost because he’s alone in there. Asuka looked at the boy, then shifted her eyes to me. He got a purple darkish purple and an eye-catching appearance that’ll probably be dangerous since he’s left alone, he may get kidnapped.

“Nii, that kid is crying.”

“Mhm, let’s talk to him, okay?”

Asuka nodded.

I stood up carrying Asuka, going to the crying boy. Approaching him, I saw that he’s much older than Asuka by a large margin, probably at an elementary level. When he saw me, he immediately went to me crying while looking at me, expectancy that I have all the answers in the world, as well as the location of his parents. It took me by surprise because the kid went to me on his own accord.

“Hey, are you lost?”

“Mhmm...” He nodded.

“Let’s go to an employee who can help us somewhere in here and ask for your parents, okay?”

He only nodded.

“Don’t worry! Nii knows everything!” Asuka exclaimed brightly.

He nodded.

What a lad, to be able to resist the cuteness.

We started walking to the information desk to report a missing child; the kid was grabbing my shirt as he walks along with us while Asuka was eating her cotton candy with joy, not even caring about anything. Reaching the information desk, I then informed the person on the desk about a lost child, then the female employee took the child and asked him questions like the name of his guardians or whatnot.

“Hello.”

“Hi, how may I help you?”

“I’m here to report a lost child.”

“Oh my, this cute child?” pointing to Asuka.

“Eh? No, this child.” I pointed down below.

She then saw the miserable crying state of the child, full of tears. “Oh, I see... That’s why I’m so confused because the kid in your arms doesn’t look lost at all, and eating her cotton candy with a bright smile.”

I chortled.

Now, we’re waiting for the apparently older sister of his who went with him here. He’s sitting beside me because he doesn’t want me to leave, as he’s clutching my shirt. Well, I don’t have really anywhere to go since the little kid in arms is satisfied with our trip in here. I even bought a cat's ear headband for her to wear, which made her a thousand times adorable—The deadly cat ears. I want to see Naoki and Yuki wearing those...

After a while of waiting, a beautiful purple-haired lady emerged from the door, sweating and out of breath. She then started scanning the entire lounge area and upon seeing the kid beside me, she immediately went in our direction and hugged the kid.

Seeing her, I think I’ve seen her somewhere...

“Nobuo! Thank god, you’re safe!” hugging the lost kid.

The two siblings were eye-catching because of their impeccable unique beauty, pairing it with a unique purple hair and chestnut eye color. While hugging, the kid didn’t even release the hem of my shirt, as he’s still grabbing on it tightly. Because of that, I’m getting weird out now.

Then the older sister shifted her glance to me. Upon seeing me she was taken back and made a scowling face, but realizing that I’m the one who bought his brother here. In an instant, her face changed, giving me a plastered smile. “You’re the one who bought my brother here, right?”

“Yes.” Are you serious? What heck happened?! It’s so scary! Her facial expressions changed in a matter of seconds! She’s creepy!

“Thank you. You have my inner sincere gratitude.” She bowed her head to me.

“Don’t mind, I’m just doing any normal citizen would do.”

Oh, thank god perhaps what I saw earlier was just a hallucination—"For my gratitude, just name the price."
