“I guess my hints are effective.”

“It sure does.”

‘If you can’t find the path that leads to success, simply create the path yourself. Either I will find a way, or I will make one.’ Are you familiar with this quote?”

“Not really, but the message behind is simple to understand.”

“The quote, I treasure and applied to myself until I became a fully pledge doctor. Luck is a factor for a person’s success, but even without it, you can find one by sheer hard work and adaptability.” Putting her notes down on the table, she turned her head on the window behind her office.

Then she continued. “I endured hardships and failure in my life, but I was able to overcome them. However, there’s one thing I can’t get over with it which is you three. For the first time in my life, I became obsessed with making things right.”

“Sensei... Look at me, you’re the one who helped me overcome the obstacle that’s obstructing me. I’m sure Naoki and Yu-chan understand you.” During my time here, Izumi-sensei never talked anything about her personally. There’s always a wall between us. She maintained that wall until now. However, to this day, everything changed.

“Of course, because you three are kind and understanding. But, as a fully pledge doctor, mistakes are something to be scared of. For our patient, it’s a life or death situation. What would happen if I didn’t do my job right, as a psychiatrist?”

“...” It’s hard to answer her question when I myself, isn’t one. I waited for her answer.

“There’s a possibility of my patient’s death by various things. But, most likely, suicide. I’ve had many of them in the past.”

“Was it because of the hypnosis?”

“Correct. I’m indeed guilty about that. Haa... To think, I would agree...” A bitter smile showed on her face while staring at the blue sky in her window.

“What’s the real reason? Is what you said about the experiment was indeed true? Or not?”

“That’s partially true, but that’s an option...” She hesitated.

“Sensei, I can take care of myself, if you think I would mindlessly get angry with my parents. I assure you, I’m not that type of person.”

“I know, you’re an abnormal kid.”

What the...

What a curveball.

“Nonetheless, you’re still a good kid. I only suggested that idea. That’s the first thing I said, but they immediately jumped on that idea. I felt guilty about it ever since.”

“That’s so like them. I can’t even be mad.”

Izumi-sensei giggled. “You’re so mature. I hope my daughter would grow up like you..." glancing at her watch"... It’s been like 30 minutes. Are you feeling anything?”

“As a matter of fact, I don’t.”

“Hm... Let me try calling Mari and leave you two here.”

“Eh?”

Without asking for my response, she left and opened the door. To my surprise, I was expecting the two waiting at the front door, but neither of them is in there. It made me curious.

Where are they right now?

Izumi-sensei called on the nurses to call Mari-san, who’s possibly still on duty and taking care of that guy earlier downstairs. Bothering her, for a mere experiment of ours, should be a hassle to her. I tried to rebuke Izumi-sensei, but what I got was a deadpan face reply.

“Sensei, can’t we just stop this? I’m sure that Mari-san is busy with her duty.”

“I just asked the nurse, she said she’s free right now.”

Waiting for a while, Mari-san showed up at the door. Remembering the false memories, oddly enough I can’t get it out of my head. If I was a normal person, I would be panicking by learning that my memories were not true. But, I’m not normal... That’s the idea I got from Izumi-sensei’s words.

Izumi sensei left the room, leaving us two in here. She sat beside me with a smile on her face. Instead of starting a conversation, I bowed my head in front of her, apologizing.

“I’m sorry, I thought—”

She instantly cut my words off and spoke. “I know everything, so don’t worry about it. Jeez, I thought you’re going to panic, but you handled it pretty well.”

I chuckled. “Hahaha, because I’m abnormal. What should I say.”

Then both of my cheeks were grabbed by two hands on both sides, forcing my gaze into her majestic dark brown eyes. I felt flustered because it caught me off-guard. I stuttered and ate some of my words.

“W-hat you want?”

Mari-san gave me a brisk smile, then laughed. “Hahahaha...”

“...”

“Look at your flustered face!”

So that’s how she wants to play, huh? Let it be then.

Furrowing my eyebrows. “Mari-san, you can’t get a boyfriend if you keep doing this.”

“Pfft— There’s no need for that, I’m fine being single.” She then removed her hands from my face, leisurely sat back on the headrest.

An idea came to my head. I had an evil grin on my face. “What about me, then? Aren’t you interested in a young boyfriend?”

Her face was astonished, but she only laughed.

“Hahahaha, sorry kiddo, but I think I’ll pass. That would be a good comeback if I didn’t know about your harem paradise. If you want, I can ask some of my friends here, they’re pretty much talking about you earlier when they saw you again. They kept saying how handsome you became and manly like your dad.”

“Wait, wait. What harem paradise? Since when? I don’t have such a thing!” I retorted.

“What a liar. I had a talk earlier with the two Ojou-sama about it. They’re even complaining about your tendencies to pick up girls left and right.”

“That’s not true! I’m not doing anything! If they’re talking about our classmate, she asked me for a kiss out of nowhere!”

Mari-san’s eyes glistened, as if she heard something interesting. “Really? Tell me more. Don’t tell me the girls in your whole school are fawning over you now? Hmm, that makes sense since you have a top-notch face. Even I wouldn’t dare to reject you.”

But you just did.

“Haaa... Wait. Maybe you can help me with it. Why would she even ask me, Mari-san?”

“How would I know? Are you seducing her?”

“What? No. She asked me to kiss her out of nowhere after I kissed Naoki and Yu-chan because they’re about to burst their bubbles from jealousy.”

“The what? Hahahaha, why would they get jealous?”

“It’s complicated, but a girl suddenly forced her lips against mine. Pretty much it.”

“Ah, I see. That’s why they said about you picking up girls everywhere.”

“Let’s leave that first. Help me with my friend. I have no idea why she would ask me that.”

“No idea. I don’t know her.”

Narrowing my eyes. “You just don’t want to help me...”

“Hell yeah, because it’s a pain in the ass. Tatsuya, you see, girls are complicated species. No matter how hard you try to understand them, you just can’t. Period.”

“... Okay. So, you’re the same too?”

“Nonsense, I’m not.”

“...” Staring at her with full of doubts.

“Oi, what a rude brat.”

“Fine, I’ll just handle it myself. Great help as always... By the way, the guy earlier, who’s he?”

“You jelly?”

“Of course, my beloved Mari-san was taking care of someone who’s not me.”

“Hahahaha, that’s the Okita I know. He’s a patient here, Kido Ryota. If I remember correctly, he’s in his last year of middle school, but he got into an accident which led to breaking his leg.”

“You’re fully aware that he likes you, right?”

“Yep, no one can resist my beauty.”

“I think I’m about to vomit.”

“What a rude brat. Yeah, I know he likes me but it’s only admiration.”

“You can’t be sure, I’m sure that he loves you.”

“Sorry, but he’s too young.”

“Oh, yeah. You’re—” Mari-san slapped my arm hard. It left a burning sensation.

“Ouch!”

“Your own fault, never ever talk about a woman’s age.”

“Yes...”

We continued conversing for a while until I lost track of time and the real point of this. I do find talking to Mari-san enjoyable since she’s the type of person who won’t lack in topics. We talked about a lot of things, but mostly about my school life and giving me some dating tips. Honestly, those dating tips are actually helpful to me, but I don’t know if I can manage it with two women.

“Goodbye, see you next time, Okita.” Mari-san waved her hand at me while going out of the room.

“Bye.” I waved back. It looks like we ended on a good note.

When she left, Naoki, Yuki, and Izumi-sensei entered. Naoki and Yuki have blissful smiles on them. Upon glancing at me, they jump on me while suffocating me with their rich, meaty chest. The softness and elasticity are superb. I feel like I’m in heaven.

“Mmmph.”

“”Tatsu!""

Due to what happened earlier, I’m now in a hair salon... Neither do I know why I’m here, in the first place. It all happened after my talk with Mari-san...
