Fuyuki, Japan,
Edelfelt Mansion,
".....Master?"
Roman stared at Tamamo no Mae in complete silence, his smile frozen and his body unmoving... It wouldn't be right to say he was shocked, it was more he was taken aback by the sight before him. One tail wasn't enough now she had three? Her figure looked far more mature than before too.
The Caster Class servant however, misunderstood his silence for revulsion, it wasn't like she was to blame for it, it had happened to her far too many times in her life, the very same thing got her killed too. A difficult smile formed across her face, "I-It's alright, Tamamo understands..." She'd been the one in the wrong no? She hoped for too much.
Luviagelita Edelfelt narrowed her gaze at this, was he... "I suppose you couldn't help yourself." She laughed with a hand over her mouth, "The apple doesn't fall far from the tr-"
"Don't...." Roman held up a hand to cut the girl off, "Remind everyone of just how lacking you are up there." He immediately covered his outburst up, this was irregular, how did that happen? He wasn't one to react adversely to words.
"Wha...." Luviagelita looked at him speechless, "Hmph!" Folding her arms, the Edelfelt stomped off, he could at least not insult her in front of others! She was just trying to alleviate the strange atmosphere the fox eared woman brought along!
Of course no one there really cared about her actions...
"Can I...."
"I request that we keep our contract till the end of this war?" Tamamo asked with her head bowed in plea, she knew she'd be shunned for it even though part of her told her that Roman wasn't like that, it was the normal human reaction.
"Was?"
"Wasn't Master about to tell me to go away?"
"..." Roman pondered on whether or not to inform her that he was actually going to ask if he could touch the tails..., "I'm guessing the empowering didn't extend to your head?" Why in the name of hell would he do that? Japs were bloody retarded with their superstitions, who would shun a fox girl?
"I see Master is as mean as always." Tamamo answered in a dignified manner, sitting up from her earlier position and placing her hands at her waist. Still, the undeniably cheerful smile on her face was more than enough for anyone to discern her current feelings, Roman hadn't changed her attitude towards her at all!
.... She was going to confirm anyway,
"So Master isn't bothered by these?" The Caster moved her tails, gesturing towards them with hopeful eyes.
"Well I-"
"I totally get it, you don't want anything to do with the 'Demon Fox'."
"Have I ever told you I don't like people cutting me off?"
".....Sorry."
Raikou, who'd arrived just a moment earlier, observed the exchange in curiosity, was this fox eared woman trying to steal her Master? She had more than a few words to say to her if that was the case.
"Right... Can I touch those?" Roman finally stopped trying to hide his actual feelings on the matter, he'd never really been one for subtlety or concealing stuff he felt...
"...What?" Tamamo no Mae looked at her eccentric Master in shock, "You are not.... repulsed by them?" This was unbelievable, most people started screaming monster or something at them.
"Do I get to touch them or not?" Roman's goals were beyond the understanding of mere mortals.
"O-Of course." Tamamo no Mae was extremely overjoyed.
And the moment would even seem peaceful and wholesome if not for the trembling Waver nearby as well as the reason for his trembling being bloodlust from the Berserker Class servant standing just to his side, "Kill?"

"While I do love the get ups, the crosses make me wonder.... Do you touch little boys inappropriately?" Roman smiled with a hand behind his back, staring at a small group of individuals he presumed worked for the Holy Church.
"Master, I believe it would do you well to be more 'reserved'." Tamamo reached inside the sleeves of her blue shrine maiden dress, manifesting her mirror in her other hand.
"Are you an impostor?" Roman eyed his servant suspiciously, this woman had been acting far more.... what to call it... Lady-like for the past two hours and it was getting kind of weird.
"What makes you think that?" The Caster smiled, ignoring the people who were getting increasingly frustrated with the two's nonchalant conversation.
"You're being too pompous, did something crawl up yours too?" The Trambelio glanced at the man coming for him, he wasn't liking this new change in Caster.
"..." Tamamo no Mae forgot her Master didn't discriminate between men and women when it came to his verbal onslaughts.
"Do you think you ca-"
"Not today, peasant." Roman threw up his cane before grabbing it from the bottom and smashing it in the exorcist's face... It did hurt, it hurt a lot considering the thing was a mystic code made by Tamamo, the force of the hit knocked the man out cold. It appeared that the Trambelio had great upper body strength.

"We're having trouble at Shi-"
"I saw this coming." Tamamo only sighed and threw up some tags, "Don't think you can go for my Master." Everyone except the two of them fell down instantly, unconscious.. Their bodies could be mistaken for corpses if not for the sounds of them inhaling and exhaling.
"Where are we, Master?" The Caster looked around at the empty road, and then the tall buildings on either side, "I can sense the presence of some servants..."
"Wonder how Raikou is doing?" Roman looked to one of the rooftops, he probably needed to explain Tamamo for the Berserker to stop grumbling in silence but didn't exactly have time at the moment, there were enemies to deal with..... Hopefully, she was at least doing what was asked of her and keeping an eye on them from the rooftops.
"Master..... I've been wondering, what exactly would you wish for? I do remember you saying you had no interest in the wish but, what if?" The fox eared servant looked at her Master seriously, she wanted to help him achieve whatever that was, no matter what she had to give for it, he was worthy of that, worthy of her devotion, he'd not shunned her tailed form had he? No he actually f-fo-*ehem* nevermind.
"Hmmm...." Roman leaned against a nearby pole, closing his eyes in thought, "I don't really have a wish I guess.."
"Then all this..."
"I didn't say I had no goal though. At first it was just a bang, as I've said before." Roman shrugged a hand, still not opening his eyes and the Caster nodded, he'd said it before when they were discussing the war.
"But then the nature of my ability was confirmed." The one eyed magician looked at the grey cloudy sky with a small smile, "With the prana so many powerful servants would bring...." He raised a clenched hand, he had enemies, many many enemies and incredibly powerful ones too. Some he was aware of, others he wasn't,
"Master.... There's no guarantee such a thing wouldn't change you." Tamamo no Mae could understand what he was hinting at immediately, and all she had to say was that it was dangerous, too dangerous even. It would attract a lot of unwanted attention from, well, from entities beyond humanity itself.
"With that and the Grail's stored power, not to mention the leylines and the God or Daemon residing in it, I will become something.... more."
A hint of ambition flashed in his eyes, as was human nature, it was stupid to stop seeking something more, especially in a verse like this. He wasn't exactly afraid but he wasn't stupid enough to think that he was untouchable with a Magic.
"But you know Master, giving up humanity even partly changes a person.."
"I guess I'll rely on you at that time."
"....Tamamo would wish to be by your side as well." The fox eared Caster lightly hugged her Master's arm, she was worried. But still, "Master is indeed a magus...", his goals and drive were insane, much like many of peers.
"It's magician now and hey who knows, maybe it'll never work. Only that old troll understands his magic fully and he's old, really old." Roman chuckled softly, it wasn't like this had been his original goal.
No, immense assets, innumerable spells and the support of many houses, that was what formed the bulk of his plans for the Clock Tower. Just that the potential of his own magic coupled with prana from a Great Holy War was something too great to let go once he realised it.
The Clock Tower could wait.
"Congratulations." Tamamo no Mae smiled, a bit sad, this meant that her Master now sought to finish this war... That meant their time together would soon come to an end to- She shook her head, now wasn't the time to think about such things, "Wait, this conversation is getting a bit too heavy so can p-please move on?" Her heart couldn't handle it!
Lightly laughing, Roman Trambelio softly ruffled her hair and walked off, his cane being his eternal support and companion.
"Wait for me!" Tamamo ran after her Master, her cheeks slightly flushed.
"Woman, I am walking with a cane." What was wrong with her?
"Tee-hee."
".....Don't do that again."
"...."
"Actually, can you do it one more time?"
"....."

Thoughts on chants?
Personally I'm of the belief that they can be cool depending on what they are and the situation.
