The boy had already gotten many bruises on his body, his face was swollen, his hands got whacked from protecting the attacks toward his head,
The bystanders did not have anything to say either, as if they lost the momentum to stop all of this from happening. Some felt that it was already too late to change any outcome and could only helplessly let the ordeal be done quickly, some thought that it just happened so suddenly that there was no way for them to intervene so it could not be helped.
Some thought that they really could not do anything about it, surely fighting against them was like asking for a suicide. Complex expressions and emotions were clearly drawn on their faces. They seemed confused about what they should do, should they just help him or let them punish the kid? Because they did not know the full story, they thought that the best way for them was to let them do their own business and just mind their own world..
The boy endured the attacks while having a thought. He thought that this was truly a vile act. He was only trying to blame them for having done something to his family and tried to ask for what was the meaning of their blatant acts. He tried to show what they had done and tried to ask for some justice.
But what was this? Without even giving him time to explain properly, they accused him of affliction, accusing them for smearing their name and integrity. Wasn't this just trying to put the fire out before it's going to engulf the whole forest? But if the fire is the victim here, how could it be wrong to exact the misgiving it experienced?
Now deep inside his heart, there was total distrust toward them. He could not put an inch of goodwill whatsoever toward them. His eyes grew cold and his hands clenched harder. His hatred was not only toward the group of people that attacked him, the bystanders too got projected from his anger and agony.
He truly seeked help! Don't you clearly see that I got beaten just from trying to seek justice? Why didn't you help me and all? Realizing that he got bashed without anyone helping him, somehow he felt that he got humiliated, as if he felt like he did not have any friends to count on. He was just a teenager that had not seen how the world worked. He did not know that not having a friend was not necessarily a bad thing. But the premise was, for as long as he was in the right.
His life was just the beginning. The road of life was long for him, he could make any friends that he could count on in the latter part of his life. He could find his soulmate that he could share his burdens with to face the hurdles that life had for him. But this was not a thing that he understood now.
For now, he really did not know what to do.
Should he just let the attacks come toward him and accept whatever they did to him? He did not have the power to match them after all. Or should he just break it all and fight them here and now even if it meant that he would be losing his ability to fight later on?
Even if he chose to abide by his time and scheme later on, would he still be having this raging fire inside of his heart right now? Wasn't he just going to forget about what happened and give up any resistance in the future? What was the best choice for him as a single man who did not have any power to fight against them?
Many thoughts ran through his inner head while an outsider was racing toward the village where all of this happened. The man's long hair was tied in a ponytail, flying through the wind from how fast he ran toward them. His inner clothing and shoes were tight and firm, while his outer sleeve flew through the wind too, making some leaves and grasses washed away from the flows and followed him up by flying into the air for a while too.

It did not look like he was running though, it seemed like he jumped his way through the grounds in every step he made. And in every jump that he made, there was some kind of power channeling through his steps, making his jumps get more powerful and wider. It was like he made long jumps in every jump he made, but without running to get ready for the long jump.
It was naturally Enjar who had been around these high grounds for a while now. He thought that there was nothing more perfect than this moment as a way for him to start his investigation toward the quest. He took a long breath as if he just sensed a very delicious meal.
"Snif….Haaa.. I can already smell it, heheh.." Enjar grinned weirdly toward himself. The distance toward the village was only a few dozen meters away from him. Now he only needed to take a few jumps to arrive at his destination. And just like that, he arrived at the area where a crowd was formed from the last disturbance. Enjar did not waste any time, searched for a gap where he could slid through the crowd and slam his body through the people who surrounded the boy.
*BAAAMM*
Some who before had seen Enjar running through his way were initially surprised, looking at how agile, fast, and powerful his momentum even before he arrived around the crowd. Deep inside their hearts they knew that Enjar was about to do something just some seconds away from his arrival. And looking at how Enjar just slammed his way, they knew that conflict would be unavoidable. Is he going to save the boy? What is the relation of this boy to this man? And what kind of power was that for him to be able to jump like that?
There are five people who beat up the boy just now, while their friends were watching from a few distances. All five of them were thrown from Enjar's momentum, without even realizing that they just got slammed by someone. They registered what just happened only after their vision got better and took a look at the lone man who was grinning toward them.
"Hey hey hey, what is this? Five people against a single boy? Aren't you embarrassed? You don't even have the balls to fight fair and square, might chop them off from your groins as well." Enjar said quite loudly while shaking his head, as if what had transpired just now was a shameful behavior that no man should be partaking in.
The five people who just heard what Enjar was saying got angrier. It was because they had become angry when they saw that they got smacked down like that by someone. They did not know what just happened or what kind of power that he had but just looking from a single glance, they knew that five of them just got thrown away easily like a baby by a single man. Where is their dignity as a man then, they thought?
Especially when they got mocked by him without even looking afraid when there were dozens of them. It was true that they just bullied a boy by using the power of momentum and intimidation to whack the boy without any regards, but it did not mean that they could not fight against the boy one by one alright?
"You… who the hell are you? You dare to fight against us? Don't you know who we are? Where are you from?" One of them said while gritting his teeth. It was the man who first punched the boy and the one who started all of this mess. He had short black hair, his clothing seemed no different than the rest of the men that seemed to come together with them. They had rouge appearances, and their eyes were looking ugly right now. In this village, they could project fear toward the villagers just from their appearances alone. But this man seemed to not even bat an eye.
"I'm just someone who arrived here accidentally, no more than that I guess." Enjar said while spreading his arms and shrugged his shoulders off, with a mockery tone decorated with a nonchalant face.
