The boy had been holding his head to cover it from the attacks for a while now. He gritted his teeth to cope up with the harassment that had been done to him, only to realize that there were no attacks hurting him anymore.

He had just heard a pretty loud sound near where he was at. He opened his eyes and realized that all the people that had surrounded him had been thrown off from him, distanced pretty far but also quite near, only a few meters away from him.

He saw that there was a man standing in front of him, his back faced toward him while his front faced the group of people that had been in this village uninvited. The boy did not see the man's face and appearance, but he knew that he did not know who this man was.

He also knew that this man was not someone from his village, hence an outsider. Then what was going on? Who was he? What was his business in this place? Why did he help me? Did he maybe truly know me, or even vice versa? All these thoughts were running through the boy's mind quickly.

But behind the confusion, there was a complex emotion hiding from the surface. He felt like his wish was suddenly being granted, a wish that he had just for a few moments ago. His heart started to beat faster somehow, feeling like he got goosebumps from the things that were unfolded.

Enjar did not need to look at his back to know what the boy's expression was. After saying his last words, all the people from that gang started to brandish their weapons while looking at Enjar vigilantly. Enjar narrowed his eyes when he saw that.

"Are you trying to mess with us?! If you want to meddle with our affair, know that death will be the least thing you need to worry about.." The brown haired man who punched the boy said begrudgingly to Enjar. He knew that the man in front of him was a pretty strong man.

But so what? The man was alone, while he had dozens of armed men with him. He also took them by surprise so he thought that he was able to throw them off was just a lucky chance, he would be on guard from now on.

"Are you threatening me?" Enjar said in a cold voice. His eyes went sharp quickly, the eyes showed the emotion of the man himself, showing how displeased he was from the remark thrown at him by the enemy in front of him.

"Searing Spike." He lifted his right arm and spread out his right arm to his side ward, stretching his fingers open as if he was about to hold something. Suddenly, a flame formed beside him, in front of his right hand. The flame was towering and blazing, but then it suddenly shrank very quickly and formed a pole. More precisely, it formed a spear, with a sharp point on its edge. It had a red color, a color that resembled lava with how flaring it looked like.

When the gang saw what Enjar had done, they became shocked. Not only them, but the bystanders who watched them had their eyes widen like saucers. Not to mention the boy who seemed like he had seen something crazy right in front of his eyes.

The most shocked came the mobs, who had a disbelieved expression plastered on their face. They looked like they could not believe what they just saw. Was this an ambush? Who is this man? What is the intention of this man going in here?

"You…!! So… you can use those energies huh, now I see where your guts come from." The brown haired man said while gritting his teeth. Now he knew why the man could literally throw off five men like it was such an easy feat to do. Even now, he still felt the stinging pain coming from the area where he got slammed by the man in front of him.

But still, even if he had that kind of power, surely they were still able to hold him off right? Especially when Enjar was not the only one who could use those kinds of energies in this place. So he was not that worried. He became more confident after he arrived at that conclusion.

He looked at Enjar with sharp glints. His eyes narrowed like daggers that cannot wait to rip apart his opponents. If this kind of man was not taught the price of offending him and his gang, then how could they reinforce the villagers to abide their orders and rules? Then being taken lightly by the village would be the least concern that they would face in the future.

"Hmph! Do you think that we will become afraid after you showed us your might? Let me warn you that once you cross the line with us, then forget about leaving th" He was still talking to Enjar with his new confidence when suddenly he got slapped by the shaft of the spear. It was so sudden that he did not even see that coming. He somehow was already on Enjar's range, where Enjar used his right arm to thwack his spear on his face.

He got slammed to the ground, with his face landed first on the earth. His head was slammed so fast that the next time he blinked his eyes, his head was already on the ground. He felt like he got slammed by a limber staff, his vision spinning like he had a vertigo. He was confused at first in the first second before he started to register for what had just happened. Pain started to pop up and what was the best way to cope with pain?

"Aahhh!" He screamed through his lungs from how painful it was, being struck by Enjar's spear. His vision was blurry, before he started to become limp. The others also started to register of what just happened, and without further ado they also started to attack Enjar. The swords and sabers that they had were unsheathed and fight was unavoidable.

"Heh, I have warned you not to threaten me right in front of my face, it stands as my top ten most hated thing of mine. Bear with it will ya." Enjar took a long step back while he spun his spear to his right side again in a beautiful way, looking as if he was so skilled at using spear as his weapon. He grinned and prepared himself to fight yet again. And now, with a weapon in his hand.

The group started to march forward toward him from all of his sides, either it was from his front, right side, and left side. Some started to go far so they could circle him and surrounded him completely, making his back a weak spot.

Enjar was unfazed seeing them being aggressive all of a sudden although he seemed to be caught off guard a little bit.. It was not that them attacking him was beyond his expectation, but seeing how organized they were and somewhat solid formation surprised him a little bit.

What a great gang they were, this was probably the reason the mission was quite hard to accomplish. But he grinned at the thought. He seemed like a person that cannot wait to surpass the expectation and estimation. He once again spun his spear for a little bit, as if to prepare for what's to come, or to intimidate the enemy. Or maybe, for the slightest chance in the eyes of the onlookers,, to look cool and dashing.

Enjar jumped forward and smashed through his spear sideways. The first person in the front blocked Enjar's attack by using his sword to block it. But he instantly knew just how much he had underestimated him by blocking his sideway attack only by using a sword.

He got thrown off from his ground and two people beside him also got the impact of his momentum. Fortunately the last person was able to hold his ground while the first two people had their body go limp, especially the first one.

People on the front now knew just how strong Enjar was from his powerful attack that he had just shown. They did not dare to slack off and became more serious than ever before.
