It’s been about a week since we found Dragon Roost destroyed. My bunny body is in Ruby’s Rest dungeon with Ruby, Tasha, and Penny. “So we’re pretty certain that the Dragon Roost survivors were taken to Canton, but we still don’t know how they got so many people there without tracks.” Penny says as Ruby opens the boss chest. They go to the dungeon with Tasha and me when they take breaks from taking care of the fort, and having lots of sex. My bunny body has stayed here for the past week as a way to keep communication between everyone. It’s not like I’m wasting time since there’s a dungeon here too.
I’ve gotten my Tank class back up to 4th tier. My experience seemed to increase a lot with the boost from my Special class. I don’t think I’m getting as much as everyone else per body still, but it’s definitely noticeable. My newest bodies should be fully grown by tomorrow, but they were already doing dungeon runs a few days ago. “Do you and Jessica know yet when we can attack Canton then and get everyone back?” I ask her, but Ruby responds “If we want to be safe, we should probably wait for another month. By then the kids we asked to pick abstain when born, should be high enough tier to make a difference. Not to mention time will only help Sapphire’s Hounds, Sue’s Battle Boars, and Amber’s Hoppers.” I nod since I’ve seen the progress for those last three.
Jessica and Ruby came up with the plan to ask new kids who wanted to fight to pick Abstain, since they wouldn’t be debuffed. It will take a while for them to catch up, but my daughters are putting a lot of effort into making sure they get helpful equipment and potions. So it’s not like they’re starting with nothing, and they should be useful for attacking Canton in a month. I wish we didn’t have to wait so long, but Canton has a lot more people than us still, even with how fast we have babies. Cindy says before the system came, Canton had over 200,000 humans. Ruby’s scouts seem to think the number is closer to 50,000 now, but it’s still a lot more than we have.
With numbers on their side, and a stat debuff on ours, the plan is to defend until we can tip the balance. Probably. That’s what Jessica explained to me a few days ago at least. I don’t think I’m very good at this planning stuff, I just hope I can be helpful in the fighting. Ruby gives a kiss to Tasha and me before saying “Okay I think that’s the last run we can fit in for today, let’s head out.” Tasha sighs and gives me a hug saying “I’ll just make do with your fluffy mom until tonight then.” I giggle, since Tasha says that every time Ruby leaves for other stuff. Ruby rolls her eyes like usual too, and we exit the dungeon.
As soon as I appear outside the dungeon I hear fighting, lots of it. So I jump to the top of the stairs and look around, quickly getting joined by the other three. There is an explosion nearby and a building collapses. At a quick glance humans have gotten into the fort and the elves are losing, and they’re losing a lot. “Mom, tell everyone to come help quick. Penny take Tasha out of the fort and come back to help.” Tasha starts to say “But I can-” before she’s cut off by being grabbed by Penny. Penny says “I’ll get her safe.” She then runs off carrying Tasha in the opposite direction of the fighting. I’ve already told everyone near my other bodies, so I tell Ruby “Okay, I doubt they can cart everyone off before help arrives.” I then jump as high as I can to get a better view, since my bunny body gets an extra boost to jump height that’s separate from the other bodies.
When I land again with a crash next to Ruby I point towards the gate and say “They broke the gate with something, most of the fighting is still happening there.” She nods and we run in that direction. It didn’t look like there were many elf defenders still left fighting. Most seemed to be bound in ropes and in the back of wagons already. I had Cindy explain to me what wagons were not long ago because it kept coming up. There are a few dead bodies, elf and human, and it makes me angry to see them. Maybe it’s because some of them look like Ruby and Penny, but all I can do it try to fight the attackers until help arrives.
“To do this much this fast they must have over a hundred 5th tiers, how many humans did you see?” Ruby asks, but I shake my head and say “It was too many for me to guess, maybe a bit more than the bunny babies from the dungeon a week ago?” I’m not sure, since I’m bad at guessing big numbers, and the humans aren’t baby sized. I hear Ruby let out a frustrated growl before we get to the closest fighting. I use my extra jump and land on a human who was bent over a knocked out elf. I hear the human’s bones crack, and I stomp on their head before they can orient themselves. This is definitely the same uniform I saw on the guards of Canton when I went with Pops.
I get hit in the head by an arrow, but it just bounces off, so I turn and see a large group of humans approaching us. I use my Tendrils under their feet, but before they start getting grabbed the tendrils dissipate. I start running towards them and get hit by a fireball in the face. I blink, only to see a net being thrown at me. Luckily I’m fast enough to dodge it, I remember how annoying nets can be if they land on me. “Two 5th tiers!” I hear one of the humans yell before I jump again and land on him. I feel his bones crunch under me, but before I can finish him off I’m blasted by lightning. It stuns me for half a second as I watch Ruby slice one of the humans in half with her blood blade.
This group of humans are probably 4th and 3rd tiers, so even with our halved stats they don’t end up being too much of a problem. Firm shrugs off most of their attacks for us. We don’t kill all of them, just the ones that keep fighting, since a human with broken bones or missing limbs isn’t a threat at a lower tier. Since it’s the middle of the day I can’t use my Gloaming Call, and every time I jump into the air there seems to be less elves fighting in other places. I don’t think this fight is going to last much longer.
Ruby and I get hit from the side by another group of humans. This time there are about ten of them, and they seem to be 5th tiers. Their skills and weapons hurt much more, and I’m really noticing the halved stats. The only reason we didn’t immediately lose is because of Firm. Spry helped me a little too in dodging ranged skills and harder hits, but in the end we both end up on the ground. “Oh the feisty one with the bunny ears and tail is going to get us a lot of credits from Horace. You know how he likes collecting the animal ones.” The human woman that touches my arm says.

Ding!
Ruby is next to me knocked out, I’m pretty sure she’s going to be okay though, since I see her breathing and they’ve branded her too. I get grabbed again and try to struggle, but without most of my stats I can’t really do anything. One of the human males asks “Do we get to play with her first? I’m curious what a bunny girl feels like.” Another human ties my wrists behind my back using some ropes and answers “Stop thinking with your dick, you know Horace pays extra if they aren’t pregnant or dirty. You can make due with one of the hundreds of beautiful elves we got like everyone else.” The human male laughs and says “Well when you put it like that, I haven’t had any elf pussy either.” Now I hear all of them laughing and the human woman who branded me says “Well if it’s okay with you guys, I want the elf bitch with the dick.”
I realize that they already stripped Ruby naked, and start doing the same with me. “Damn look at that ass, it is pretty tempting to blow all those credits for a piece. She must have high as fuck attractiveness. It makes me a bit jealous.” The woman says before shoving me in the direction I saw the carts. At least with me here I can keep the others updated on where the carts and slavers are traveling. Since we definitely aren’t going to make it before they load everyone up. I don’t hear fighting anymore.
Once I’m in the back of a wagon, I see that almost all the elves are knocked out like Ruby. It must be a skill, the ones still awake probably have a skill like mine that prevents getting knocked out by an enemy. There aren’t many of us though. The first reinforcements are probably still 20 minutes away when I hear a human in a pretty looking robe yell “Okay stop messing around! You all can have your fun once we’re safely back. Remember they say these elves have other bases around here and we don’t want to be caught out!” I guess he’s some sort of leader for the humans, since they all get serious looks and line up next to the wagons.
Suddenly there’s a huge purple thing next to the man in the robe and he says “Okay everyone through!” and the carts start moving towards it. I see that the man is breathing hard and hunched over, but the lead wagon disappears into the purple circle, soon followed by the carts behind it. I flinch as the cart I’m in gets to it, and as I pass through the purple stuff I don’t feel anything. The cart I’m in is suddenly somewhere else though, surrounded by the other carts that I saw go through the purple thing. The arrow pointing to Ruby on my other body is suddenly pointing in a different direction and I see Ruby’s wagon coming through. So I guess it really did take us somewhere else.
I tell my daughters with my other bodies what happened and everyone is surprised. As I watch the last of the wagons and humans come through the thing, it disappears. Citrine says “Fuck!” to my Eidolon body after I tell her. She soon adds “Tell the others this too. They have someone with a portal class, they don’t show up until the 6th tier that I know of, and they should be very rare right now. They can get large amounts of people from one place to another so I don’t think we’re going to catch up to the wagons, they’re probably already in Canton.” My daughter then sighs and says “Don’t tell them this part, but portal classes got much more common near the end during my last life. They helped evacuations so much that they were prioritized by the leaderships.” I nod, having already told my other daughters the first part. I know Citrine doesn’t want everyone knowing about how her memories work.
I look around again with my bunny body, and the style of buildings around the carts do remind me of my visit to Canton before. With that and the matching uniforms, it’s hard to think we’d be anywhere but Canton. My other bodies are still headed to Ruby’s Rest with everyone else, since we’ll still have to help any survivors that didn’t get captured, and it’s as good a staging spot as we can get for heading to Canton, since it’s closest out of the camps and forts.
The humans start getting the elves out of the wagons in the front, and they all seem so happy. They talk about how much they’re excited to have an elf of their own. Some of them mention getting more points, but most are talking about sex stuff. I sigh since these poor kids haven’t had to deal with things like this before, so they’ll probably be scared and confused. I hope they put us together like the orcs so I can help cheer them up until we can get them out.
