Flying Dust [Fei Chen]

Chapter 27

“There’s nothing to be sorry for!”

In the air swirled by the sword qi, Jun Wushuang’s hair swayed and his clothes fluttered, Mo Fei Chen’s heart unnaturally skipped a beat as he watched.

Don’t be distracted! Don’t be distracted!

The downstream flowing to the place of forgetfulness, the air condensing to the lining of the jade, the milky way and the earth were warm, and there was no trace of the moon… Those phrases that Lu Qingmo had taught him seemed to echo in his ears again.

Mo Fei Chen sighed softly, the sword energy burst out in a flash. The sword energy lingered on the heart-binding sword. It instantly became a hit force and Leng Yufang was forced backwards, while Mo Fei Chen and Jun Wushuang took advantage of the situation to press forward.

Leng Yufang, after all, had been in Jiang Hu for a long time, so she twisted her sword qi and sidestep the impact, while on the other hand, Mo Fei Chen and Jun Wushuang’s sword qi was released in one go.

Behind them came a loud bang, and the whole Guyan Mountain seemed to be collapsing.

Jun Wushuang and Mo Fei Chen both flew in the direction of Liu Feiying. Leng Yufang covered her chest and tried to catch up with them, yet Jun Wushuang suddenly turned around and pointed his sword qi at her lower leg, while she dodged it, Fei Chen Sword hit her severely in her wound again like dust in the air, seemingly soft but heavy.

“Ugh…” The expression on her face was fierce, as if she had never dreamed that she would fall prey to two youngsters.

When Mo Fei Chen and Jun Wushuang arrived, they saw Liu Fei Ying being forced to the edge of the cliff by Kemoluo.

“Shi Fu——”

Jun Wushuang dashed forward to her, when Liu Feiying saw him, she gave up fighting against Kemoluo and used her sword qi to send a piece of hanging jade into Jun Wushuang’s arms. Kemoluo tried to reach for it, but unfortunately Liu Feiying’s spiritual sword streaked across her fingers, yet she did not stop.

“Go looking for Wu Liang Chanshi——” Liu Feiying’s words just fell as she was struck down into that cliff.

“Shi Fu!” Jun Wushuang was still trying to move forward when suddenly Mo Fei Chen grabbed his wrist and took him away while Kemoluo was already chasing after them.

Jun Wushuang wanted to get free from Mo Fei Chen, but he was slapped by Mo Fei Chen in the face.

“You want to die?! Fine!” Mo Fei Chen dragged him directly behind him. Kemoluo’s expression changed immediately and her sword qi came crashing down on them. Jun Wushuang yelled and threw out his Shu Xin Sword, his sword Qi flared up, the sand and stones on the ground tumbled. Mo Fei Chen was also dumbfounded, such power was simply as if the previous Jun Wushuang was totally a different person.

Kemoluo’s sword Qi was split open, and she was forced to withdraw several feet in succession.

Jun Wushuang grabbed Mo Fei Chen’s collar then ran away.

“You … just now, you are so awesome…” Mo Fei Chen stared dumbfounded, remembering the time when he was running away while carrying Liu Feiying on his back and Jun Wushuang covering the retreat. This guy also seemed like he had eaten chicken blood.1[‘This guy seemed like he had eaten chicken blood’ : this expression used to mock or to ridicule someone who was particularly excited. The term was coined in the 1960s. At the time, people tried injecting themselves with chicken blood and found that it made them hyperactive which was then used as a method of health care. However, it was later medically proven that the exhilaration of chicken blood was a normal rejection reaction and not a health care method, and the term slowly became a sarcastic and mocking expression.]

The other party’s hand was still holding the jade stone thrown by Liu Feiying, while his other hand was still grasping Mo Fei Chen’s collar, his face sullen and cold.

“What do we…do now?” Mo Fei Chen trembled as he said it.

The other party still ignored him. The two seemed to be going down the mountain path. Mo Fei Chen guessed that he was going to find Liu Fei Ying … ‘If she is still alive, he must see the person, if she is dead, he must find the corpse.’

The bottom of the cliff was in the shape of a canyon, with some plants and trees and a shallow stream running through it. In such an environment, if Liu Feiying had really fallen in an injured state, I’m afraid that she would really…

Mo Fei Chen asked him but Jun Wushuang didn’t say anything so he also stopped talking, following behind him, like a pitiful shadow.

They searched until it was dark, but there was still no sign of Liu Feiying.

Jun Wushuang was still wandering around aimlessly. Mo Fei Chen thought about it, but still stretched out his hands and tapped his shoulder, “See…not finding a corpse proves that your Shi Fu is still alive …”

Jun Wushuang shook off Mo Fei Chen and continued to walk along the stream.

“We can’t keep hanging around here any longer, Kemoluo must expect us to be here looking for your Shi Fu. She knows you have what she wants and at any time, she will come here!”

Jun Wushuang suddenly turned his head back and fiercely pushed Mo Fei Chen with both hands, because of this, he sat down in the water.

“Say it! Tell me! Why did you do that? You think it’s not enough that your Shi Fu fell off the cliff! You want to go up and take Kemoluo’s sword too, don’t you? You also want to die and show it to me?”

He shouted and with every sound he made, Mo Fei Chen’s head was dizzy.

Jun Wushuang was like his spiritual sword, restraining his heart, binding his heart. He knew how to bind his heart, thereby he also knew how to restrain his behaviour and his expressions. He had never lost his poise like this before, he even had tears in his eyes.

“What are you yelling for? If I’m not going to block her sword, aren’t you prepared to take it? Anyway, if one of us dies, the other one won’t hope to escape!” Mo Fei Chen stood up and walked slowly from the water. He almost cried too.

This was the first time he had ever been out to Jiang Hu and he had been safely following his Manor Leader’s Shi Fu’s side, even if he had sneaked out for Yu Jin, however he had seen him and could have turned back to Kun Yun Mountain at any time. Why was he now with Jun Wushuang and suffered plenty of loss?

Jun Wushuang’s lower jaws were still trembling. He still looked quite agitated.

“You just keep looking here, keep yelling here! When that devil woman comes, it’s time for… your Shi Fu’s life to fall into his hands and for you to hand over what your Shi Fu gave you too, with that everything ends. I don’t want to stay with you anymore!”

Mo Fei Chen dripped out of the stream and headed for the exit of the valley.

He had made up his mind to go to the town first to buy a horse, and then go back to Kun Yun Mountain. If he met Kemoluo, he would not fight her, but would strip naked and show her that he did not have what she wanted.

Jun Wushuang stood at the edge of the stream, watching Mo Fei Chen move further and further away from him, his eyes seemed to glow with a gloomy fire.

Mo Fei Chen did not have any energy to run using his qing kong anymore, so he just wandered around slowly and after about an hour, he arrived at the town. Unlike what he had expected, the town was not prosperous and it was impossible to find a horse.

So he went to a small tavern, asked for two steamed buns and went to the guest house.

He had been hungry for a long time, so he nibbled on the white steamed buns which were sweet and tasty.

Mo Fei Chen chewed the last bite while he pulled down his soaked trousers. Damn it, let’s say that as if he washed his trousers and his obscene pants. He twisted them so hard that the water dripped onto the floor and he just threw them down on the table. Let’s get some sleep first, if the pants don’t dry tomorrow, I would just wear it and dry it with my body heat.

He had just sat on the edge of the bed with his bare bottom, ready to pull back the quilt and blow out the lamp, when the door suddenly opened and someone stepped in and closed the door.

Mo Fei Chen took a look and saw that it was Jun Wushuang, so he gave him an unpleasant look, “Do you want to sleep? That’s also fine! We’ll go our separate ways in the morning anyway, you go to your Ding Chan Temple or Xiu Shui Palace and I’ll go back to my Kun Yun Mountain Manor.”

After saying this, he felt the sour taste in his nose as he thought of He Yunfeng.

I don’t know how he is now, is he sitting alone and playing gobang by himself?

Before Mo Fei Chen could put on the quilt, Jun Wushuang was on the edge of his bed like a ghost, his palm went under the quilt.

Mo Fei Chen thought that he just wanted to lie down, but he himself was still angry therefore he did not want to give up his space, so he stayed stiff there and didn’t even move. He didn’t expect that Jun Wushuang’s hand was suddenly put on his waist, groping downwards, and before he could react, he already grabbed his ‘little brother’.

“What… are you doing?” Mo Fei Chen half-supported himself and looked at Jun Wushuang.

“What do you think?” Jun Wushuang’s face didn’t have any expression, Mo Fei Chen swallowed his saliva.

He had long felt that Jun Wushuang’s gentle and elegant manner, his politeness and his modesty, and even his occasional reckless smile at himself were not his all expression. Instead, it was his cold and indifferent now that what Mo Fei Chen had occasionally seen in his eyes was the real him.

“What else can I do but go back to Kun Yun Shan Zhuang?” Mo Fei Chen tried to pry open his palm, but his opponent turned him over and directly pressed him down. His chin touched Mo Fei Chen’s chin, the overwhelming force in his eyes made Mo Fei Chen curled up and shivered with fear.

“If I don’t let you go, where do you think you can go?”

“Jun Wushuang! It’s enough, I previously let you away with everything because your Shi Fu was in trouble. You don’t bully people too much!” Mo Fei Chen stretched out his fist and before he could hit his opponent’s face, he was crushed back into the pillow.

“Give in to me?” Jun Wushuang gave a cold laugh. His facial features were already handsome and beautiful beyond comparison but now half of them were shrouded in shadows, making him look even more dangerous, “Am I not the one giving way to you? You said I was joking then I was joking! You said I should let you go so I let you go! You said you were thinking of that person, then I let you think of her! Do I give way to you, or do you give way to me?”

Mo Fei Chen was so shocked by his action that he even forgot to breathe.

“But I don’t like you… No, I like you but not that kind of like…”

“Then, like me now!” Jun Wushuang kissed him on the outer tip of his eyebrow Mo Fei Chen tried to struggle, lifting his waist to lift his opponent up. But he didn’t expect that guy to grab his ‘little brother’ hard, so much so that he was in pain that his tears almost flowed out.

Mo Fei Chen gathered his true qi and sent his sword qi out from his fingertips into the ceiling, grazing Jun Wushuang’s cheek and leaving a faint bloodstain.

“You threw your sword at me——” Jun Wushuang’s tone rose as if he was so furious that his eyes were about to shed blood. He seemed about to use his palm to slap Mo Fei Chen’s face, but he suddenly changed from using his palm into his fingers and tapped twice on Mo Fei Chen’s acupoint on his upper body. Now all Mo Fei Chen could do was to use both of his legs only.

“You this bastard! Get off now!” Mo Fei Chen realized that what Jun Wushuang was doing was no longer just a joke. This guy is losing his mind! It doesn’t matter if he had gone mad by himself but why should he be looking for me while he became insane?

Jun Wushuang hooked the corner of his lips and pressed his fingers around his neck, squeezing his throat so that Mo Fei Chen could not make any sound.

“Do you think I forced you? Do you feel that you don’t like me?” Jun Wushuang hummed, a little sarcastically. When his fingers loosened up, Mo Fei Chen was no longer able to speak because he had been tapped on his mute acupoint.

Translator’s Note : I know that Jun Wushuang is not a good person (since he is the yandere one) but he is still my favorite character in this novel. Some readers might hate him after this.
