Xiang Ning jumped down from the ship at the same time Qi Jiuming stormed out from the academy. The speed of a tier six, nine-star martial artist was not to be scoffed at. Just as Qi Jiuming arrived beside Xiang Xiaoyu, he saw her brother falling to the ground. But due to the sunlight and angle, Qi Jiuming could only see the boy’s silhouette, not his face. Additionally, Xiang Ning had changed so much in a year, with his long beard and hair plastering his face.
Qi Jiuming hadn’t recognized Xiang Ning and thought he was a random sect master. He had just decided to intercept him when Xiang Xiaoyu ran to where he would be landing.
“Xiang Xiaoyu!” Qi Jiuming stretched his hands but he did not manage to hold her back.
The ground shuddered as Xiang Ning landed. The sound was neither loud nor quiet when he reached the ground. Xiang Xiaoyu saw a tall… caveman in front of her.
But when he pulled back his hair and revealed his smile, she felt the world around her turn brighter. Qi Jiuming froze, and Chen Zixin couldn’t believe her eyes. It was as if they had seen a ghost.
The nearby people also ran up and saw that it was Xiang Ning! All of them started cheering.
Xiang Ning had returned!
“Long time no see. Hmm, why’re you still the same height?” Xiang Ning stood in front of his sister and compared their height. Rather than her not growing, it was because he had grown taller.
She lowered her head and clenched her fist. She didn’t dare to look at his face, afraid that he was an illusion, but her brother’s voice was still the same.
Xiang Ning stretched his hand to pat her head but decided against it. Instead, he squatted down and looked up at her.
Xiang Xiaoyu was on the verge of tears as she bit her lips. Her vision blurred when she saw her brother, afraid that it was all fake. She wiped her tears and saw her brother’s face. It was real. This time, it was real.
“Why’d you only come back now!” She pounced into his embrace and cried her eyes out. Xiang Ning didn’t manage to find his balance and fell to the ground. The touching scene of the two siblings’ reunion had everyone else crying, too.
Both Chen Zixin and Qi Jiuming were crying, though the latter had to secretly wipe away his tears as he turned around. The crowd felt their hearts twisting as they heard the sorrowful cries from Xiang Xiaoyu. She must have suffered a lot!
Xiang Ning felt something had lifted off his shoulder as he sniffled. But he didn’t cry, just quietly sat and patted her back as he embraced her.
Xiang Xiaoyu cried for a long time before she stood up. Seeing how her brother was still sitting on the ground, she burst into a smile. “Stand up!”
“Alright.” Xiang Ning stood up like a spring. Some of the onlookers who had only arrived saw that it was Xiang Ning, the child of Marsh City!
“It’s Xiang Ning! He’s still alive!”
“Hey! What do you mean ‘still alive’?”
“Shit. I mean, he’s back! Yay! My grandchildren had missed him so much!”
Xiang Ning saw more and more people gathering around them, some of them even taking photos, and felt a bit embarrassed.
Qi Jiuming walked over. “You’re back. Come, this is no place to talk. Let’s go to my office.” He had lowered his voice, but it still betrayed his excitement.
Xiang Ning nodded while his sister entered the school.
But he didn’t follow them. He stood near the gates. “I have to go and take care of something. Little sister, wait for me inside, alright? I’ll be back soon.”

“Sure!” She wanted to stay with her brother, but she hadn’t forgotten that someone had tried to kill her just now.
“Don’t worry. Nothing will happen to me.” Xiang Ning saw the concern in her eyes and patted her head. He turned to Qi Jiuming and requested his help. “Headmaster, please take care of her. I’ll be back soon.”
“Alright.” Qi Jiuming's face was serious. He’d just arrived on the scene but had already noticed that one of the stone pillars had a bullet hole in it. The murderous intent had most likely came from Xiang Ning.
Xiang Ning nodded as the ship slowly lowered. He leaped and caught the tail and swung into the cockpit.
On the other side of the city, Fang Zhenyuan had seen the flying object entering Marsh City from quite a distance away and was just about to reach Qiling Academy when the ship flew off again, this time in another direction. He turned back and followed it.
Moray and his entourage had run very fast. Xiang Ning finally managed to catch up to them just as they arrived in the suburbs, where a plane was waiting for them.
Xiang Ning scoffed as he opened the cockpit and jumped down.
The bodyguard saw him and roared at the others. “Quickly! Bring the young master away! Leave now!”
“I don’t want to—” Moray was still struggling as he was brought into the ship.
“Stop! The man you’re trying to kill is from the Dexter—”
Before the bodyguard could even finish his sentence, Xiang Ning had already shot toward him. He released all of the murderous intent and the aura of a tier seven sect master. “Scram if you don’t want to die!”
“Don’t think I’m some kind of pushover!” The bodyguard had his own pride as a tier seven—even if he couldn’t win, he still needed to fight! His aura rose as he pounced at Xiang Ning like a wild beast.
Xiang Ning used the Shadowmist Ghost Step and covered over a hundred meters in an instant. He launched his fist and sent the bodyguard flying, even though the man was much bigger than him. The bodyguard crashed into the flying ship.
“How can this be?!” The bodyguard was shocked! How could he be this strong? Is he really a tier seven?
Xiang Ning almost reached the aircraft, but the bodyguard stood up and intercepted him.
“THIS IS YOUR FINAL WARNING! MOVE AWAY!“
“You don’t understand! I’m saving you! If you kill that man inside, everyone you know will die!”
“SCRAM!” Xiang Ning was truly infuriated. His sister was the final line that no one should cross. He would kill whoever dared touch her. Even if he had to die, he would fight to the end and tear off a chunk of their flesh!

The bodyguard saw that it was useless, so he launched another attack at Xiang Ning. This time it was a kick.
Xiang Ning scoffed as he gathered his energy. He had undergone such hellish training that every single move of his was deadly. He had slain numerous Qiuros, after all!
Crack!
The sound of cracking bones was heard as Xiang Ning kicked back as hard as he could and broke the bodyguard’s leg. The bodyguard flew back once again and landed on the ground, shouting in pain.
