Xiang Ning’s face was calm, but anger had already claimed his heart. He might look nonchalant, but his attack showed how heavy-handed he could be.

A battle between tier sevens was on a completely different level compared to lower tiers. Almost all tier seven martial artists must possess a single martial technique with Peak Mastery; it signified their talent in cultivation. Hence, it was almost unheard of for a battle between two tier seven martial artists to be decided in the first blow.

But now the bodyguard was on the ground grunting in pain from just a single attack! As a tier seven martial artist, his willpower was by no means weak, but it wasn’t enough for him to stand up.

Moray was shaken. He couldn’t believe how the bodyguard his family had hired for him had lost to Xiang Ning in one decisive blow. If Xiang Ning were to continue his assault, the world would have one less tier seven martial artist. But was Moray afraid? No. He was only shocked to see Xiang Ning’s strength. Ever since he was small, his family had told him that no one would dare lay a finger on him. Only those who had nothing to lose would be crazy enough to do so. But was Xiang Ning someone like that? He wasn’t.

Without waiting for Xiang Ning to open the door of the plane, Moray walked out himself. He boldly stood in front of Xiang Ning and proclaimed, “To think that you’d return alive.”

But Xiang Ning did not answer him and calmly walked closer to Moray. The bodyguard saw what was happening and shouted at the Dexter Corporation heir, “WHAT’RE YOU DOING? RUN AWAY! HE’S TRYING TO KILL YOU!”

“Kill me? No one in this world would dare do that! If you touch a single strand of my hair, my family will hunt down everyone you know! Your family, your friends, and your lover! We’ll torment all of them!”

But while Moray may be delusional, his entourage was not. All of them immediately raised their hot weapons and shot at Xiang Ning.

In the next instant, two Mk. 7 flying knives shot out under Xiang Ning’s control. Their strength was enough to destroy the entire plane.

The bullets were all deflected by the flying knives, while the people all had their hands cut off. Xiang Ning didn’t kill them, but the bloody scene scared Moray even more. “Do you really think I wouldn’t dare to kill you?” Xiang Ning chuckled. “I’ll let you experience death. Slowly. You’ll get to feel the life slowly leaving your body!”

Xiang Ning was just about to kill Moray when a spear shot out from nowhere. Xiang Ning thought that it was reinforcements but he soon realized that it was Fang Zhenyuan. He calmly stood there.

The spear shot past both Xiang Ning and Moray and buried itself into the ground. Moray’s face was scratched by the spear and blood started seeping out of the wound.

“Xiang Ning, you can’t kill him!” Fang Zhenyuan was surprised and shocked to see Xiang Ning. He was alive! He was back! But when he saw Xiang Ning almost killing Moray, cold sweat covered his forehead. He had to throw his weapon to stop him.

Even though he felt his face was warm and stinging with pain, Moray still had the nerve to laugh, “If I recall, that’s the father of your girlfriend, right?” He was now even more haughty. He thought that the only reason Xiang Ning dared to kill him was that Xiang Ning didn’t know how strong and influential the Dexter family was. But now that the city lord of Marsh City had arrived, he would know how fearsome his family was.

“Better listen to him. There won’t be any benefits in killing me.” Moray cruelly smiled.

Fang Zhenyuan didn’t know why Xiang Ning wanted to kill Moray, but the boy’s face was already distorted with displeasure by the interruption. Fang Zhenyuan was confused. “I’m very happy that you returned alive, but what happened here? Why do you want to kill him?”

Xiang Ning understood that Fang Zhenyuan didn’t know of the situation, so he bluntly explained, “He tried to kill my sister.”

Fang Zhenyuan was shocked to hear that; Moray had left a good impression on him. Why would he want to kill Xiang Xiaoyu? There was no reason to. But still, Xiang Ning was an honest man, so he ordered his men to apprehend Moray. “Men, come and capture—”

Before he could finish his order, his eyes went wide at what Xiang Ning had done. The bodyguard had originally thought that the young master would be able to survive today, thanks to the arrival of Fang Zhenyuan. He had just barely stood up when Xiang Ning acted.

He saw with his own two eyes that Moray’s heart had been pierced by Xiang Ning. The bodyguard fell back to the ground weakly.

“Impossible.…” Moray felt his mind go blank as he slumped to his knees.

Fang Zhenyuan finally snapped to action and rushed forward to check on Moray. The latter knew that he was close to dying and tightly clutched Fang Zhenyuan’s clothes. “Save me! Save me! Save me!”

He kept shouting and begging. The wound in his heart wasn’t large, but the blood kept pouring out as his heart beat. It would be almost impossible to treat unless they immediately performed surgery. But with Xiang Ning there, how could Moray escape?

“Xiang Ning!” Fang Zhenyuan saw that there was no hope for Moray and exasperatedly shouted at him, “How could you do this?! You should investigate this clearly! You still have a sister!”

Xiang Ning said nothing as he silently stared at Moray. He finally smiled and Fang Zhenyuan shuddered. What has he been through in the past year? What did Moray do? The canny old sect master knew that the situation was complicated, so he ordered his men to conduct an investigation.

The medics would arrive in five minutes, but Moray was dead in three. He died from excessive blood loss and pulmonary edema. Moray was dead, and Xiang Ning had fulfilled his vow.

Fang Zhenyuan stood in front of Xiang Ning, unsure of what to do. He sighed as he turned back—he needed to contact his network and suppress this incident.

But the bodyguard laughed at them. “Hahaha! You’re all dead! It’ll be impossible to keep this incident under wraps! It’s useless! They’ll be able to investigate it!”

Fang Zhenyuan had indeed wanted to suppress the incident, but Xiang Ning stopped him. “It’s ok. This has nothing to do with you. I’m the one responsible for this.”

“What can you do now?! I don’t want my daughter to be unable to get married!”

Xiang Ning assured him, “Trust me.”
