Chapter 2: Chapter 2 – Finding The Way

Noy ran up to the forest in the North. After reaching there, he breathed a sigh of relief as he knew he could be safe in the forest from those hunting him. He then decided to walk in a slow manner.

He had been walking for more than half a day when he felt that something wasn't right.

Back when he saw the map of the empire back in his mansion, he clearly remembered that the forest in the north was small and when you walk for a little over 3 hours North, you should have been able to get out of the forest. So, there was definitely something wrong.

"Now that I look at the forest closely. There are a lot of trees that are unfamiliar to me." Noy thought to himself.

Despite having such thoughts there was little that he could do. He didn't know what to do or how to get out of the forest. He was tired because of all the running and was also covered in bruises.

Having not eaten for more than half a day, Noy started to feel hungry. So, he decided to get some fruits to quell his hunger.

To search for fruits, he aimlessly started to wander in various directions. After looking for a while, he became more and more tired until he could no longer continue his search. So, he just decided to sit under this tall tree to rest.

The tree was so tall that it looked like it would almost reach the sky along with its long branches that branched in every direction. Sunlight barely passed through its leaves to the ground which resulted in only grass growing beneath it. This was a comfortable place for Noy to rest.

"Huff.. huff. I can't find fruits anywhere. Only trees and some strange-looking flowers. I have to get something to eat or I will die of starvation. I will also have to think of a way to get water." Noy exhaustingly talked to himself as he laid down on the grass underneath the trees.

Suddenly the ground where Noy was resting collapsed and he fell through the hole.

As he tumbled to the ground, he could feel landing on the hard concrete floor. There was no light anywhere except for the dimly lit sunrays passing through the hole.

"What is this place?" Noy said in a tired voice.

He could feel his hand and back hurting from the fall. He looked around to find anything but could only see darkness all around him except where he is standing.

The air was cold and an eerie silence followed it like the night time in a cemetery. He could feel the shivers going down his body.

After holding his hands out for some time, he finally found the wall. It was also made of concrete materials like the floor with some rough textures. But what the purpose of this room or whatever it was, was still unknown to him.

With no food or water and tired from running, he started to get unconscious. But with revenge in mind, he still followed the unending wall.

Eventually, after walking for a little over 15 mins, he fell to the ground unconscious with no stamina....
