George was sitting on his bed. It had been a week since the first training they did. After he had gotten the journal and pen, he had been spending  a lot of time writing in it.

For those who might be confused about why George might ask for a journal when there were so many better things he could've gotten, it was for one reason, he had kept a journal when he was back home, and he was pining for any semblance of peace in this place. This led to him asking for a journal.

It's been four days since we finished the training for falling down. I was the best every time, so I still have two more requests I can use. I still don't understand why I was the best every time, even to me, there were many people who were doing better than me. Even Alistair looked better than me. Could it be possible for me to actually to be a genius?

We've learnt a lot from Professor A the past couple of days. Apparently, all Ranked are classified into tiers. That's why they're called ranked. It was apparently made by the dragons, as they were the first and oldest race on the planet to ever use Hani. According to the legend, the first person other than the dragons to use Hani was someone who was taken in by a dragon when he was still a baby. There's no mention of what race that person was, but it's generally believed to be elves.

Anyway, the dragon awakened that person's Hani, although the other dragons were against it. She also taught him how to draw in mana from the surroundings, and when he was sixteen, he left to find himself. There begins the legend of the first emperor.

The current classification we use today was passed down by that person, which was given to him by the dragons, is the tier system. In the system, all people can either be classified into [Combat] or [PWMT] (People Who Make Things). This system is flawed, according to the professor. He said he would tell us the reason for this another day.

Get this, something weird happened the other day. When Alex and the others came back from the alternative to fighting, there were fewer that there were before. Some people asked them what happened, but they didn't answer. It's sad that there are less people than before, but at least something's different about him now. I was watching him after that, and it seems he's lost some of his taste for bullying. He's definitely calmer than before to other people, but he's more hostile than before to me. I can usually feel his eyes boring into the back of my skull.

If I didn't usually stay with Alistair and the rest of the guys most of the time, he probably would have confronted me by now. I don't understand why he's so fixated on me. I know I threw the first punch, but it's already been a while since then. I've already gotten over it. He should too. Could he actually be demented or something?

George closed the book and put it under his pillow. He went to the bathroom and took off his clothes. He got under the shower and started to wash himself. He suddenly heard the sound of footsteps behind him.

'Did Alistair decide to take a shower after all?'

He turned around and saw Alex, Carter and some other people behind him.

"What are you guys doing?"

George felt scared.

"Don't come any closer. Otherwise I won't hold back."

Alex sneered.

"You won't hold back? Do you really think you can do anything in this situation?"

He started to stalk towards George.

"Before we get started, I think it's only noble if I tell you why this is happening. You see, I could be demented. Maybe that's why this is happening."

George went pale.

"I could also be stupid."

He turned to the people behind.

"What do you think, guys? Which do you think I am? Demented or stupid?"

Carter spoke up.

"Neither."

"I know right? I am neither demented nor stupid, so who could've gotten the idea that I am?"

George was now shaking.

"Impossible, how could you have seen what I wrote in my journal? Wait, did you actually read it?"

George gave a laugh.

"If you did, then that's it for you. Did you forget what professor said? Something gotten from a request cannot be taken from that person. You're in for it now."

Alex started to laugh. He walked up to George and looked him in his eyes.

"I'm aware of exactly what he said. When someone told me, I realized he said that what a person gets from a request cannot be 'taken' from them. He never said anything borrowing it. Hell, I didn't even borrow it. All I did was read it. I never removed it from its original position. I've been reading for the past couple of days."

Alex leaned forward and George fell to the ground.

"You know, I could've stood all the things you said about me, like how I'm a bully, and how I'm stupid. But the latest thing you wrote, that was the last straw."

"How am I demented? If anything, you're the demented one. How can you trust anyone in here. When I see you hanging off Alistair's every word, I just want to laugh. Do you really think he looks at you  like a friend? Wake up, we're in the Test Zone! You're a tool to him. Everyone is being used by everyone."

He grinned at George.

"Even you George, why do you think you think you stay so close to Alistair? It's very simple."

He bent down to George's level.

"IT'S BECAUSE YOU LIKE SECURITY!!"

"You don't look at him like a friend. When you see him, you see a way to survive. You see a dependable rock in the middle of the storm."

"I personally find nothing wrong with that mentality. But what bothers me is when someone talks shit about me without knowing anything about my life."

"On that note, let's begin."

The people behind Alex walked up towards George.

"You're apparently the best at falling down. That's good. You're going to be doing a lot of that now. Try to use this time to get better."

Alex nudged George's leg.

"Get into the sitting position."

George didn't move.

Alex's face twisted.

"I said get down into the sitting position, bastard!"

He kicked George's face in anger.

George fell on the ground.

Alex took a deep breath.

"It seems I lost my composure for a second there. I can't be hitting you too hard. It will be over too soon if I do that."

"Like I said, into the sitting position."
