[The Legend of the First Emperor is a fable passed down from generation to generation and is generally accepted as the origin of all Ranked. The child taken in by the dragon is a tale as old as time. There have been several plays adapting the story of the legend, and bards in the past would sing tales of it. There is even a continent-wide festival on Pravis celebrating the First Emperor.
While I don't want to insult the elves' culture, as a scholar, I must question the authenticity of the legend. The story starts with the emperor being picked up by a dragon as a child. The dragon raised the child, going against the advice of the other dragons and even taught him about Hani and the classification of Hani users.
His story really begins when he is sixteen and leaves the dragon that raised him. In the legend, he travels the world and eventually unifies the world as we know it.
There are many discrepancies in the story if you look for them. For instance, what happened to the empire he built? If he apparently unified the world, where are the monuments? It can explained by saying that they decayed over time, but why can no one find any existence of a empire from that era? Absolutely nothing to insinuate that there ever existed such a dynasty. That all is strange, but the strangest thing is that the legend was still passed down. If so, was it actually real or not?...............Excerpt from: THE CONTROVERSIES OF THE LEGEND OF THE FIRST EMPEROR]
George was on the ground with a bloody face, with Alex and his henchmen around him.
"Standing position."
George struggled to his feet.
*Bam!*
Alex sucker punched George in the gut.
George doubled over in pain, gasping for air.
By this point, George couldn't even think coherently. His thoughts were a mix of anger, pain and confusion.
He kept getting to beat to the ground, over and over again.
'How long has it been? One hour, two hours? It hurts so much. I just want this to end?'
'Why am I taking this from him? I'm not a coward. Whenever someone does anything to me, I pay it back tenfold.'
"Get up."
George didn't budge.
"I said get up."
He still didn't move.
"You're not going to get up?"
Alex stomped on George's leg.
"You stupid shit. Get your ass up!"
George couldn't keep silent anymore.
"Leave me alone. You've already done enough, you retard."
Alex was stunned. Then he began to laugh.
"I'm surprised, you actually still have the energy to talk to me like that? What's even more surprising, an idiot like you actually knows the word 'retard'."
"Screw you."
Alex crouched down to George's level.
"You know, this is the first time you're actually using such foul language. Are you starting to grow up, my dear George?
*Pttt.*
George spit on Alex.
Alex wiped his face, then glared at George.
"Bastard! You actually spit on me? You really don't know your place!"
*Bam.*
*Bam.*
*Bam.*
The sounds of punching rang out in the bathroom. After a few minutes, Alex came back to his senses.
"It seems I lost my composure again."

He grinned at George maliciously.
"You know, you're really like my reverse scale. When I stay around you, you just make me angry. You don't even have to try, whatever you do pisses me of."
He wiped his hand on his tracksuit.
"Well, why don't we start another round?"
A voice rang out by the entrance to the bathroom.
"Alex, that's enough."
Alistair and a couple from his group had come to the rescue!
Alex turned to face Alistair.
"Who do you think you are, Alistair? Do you think I'll back down just because you showed up with a few people?
Alistair looked pointedly at Alex.
"Don't push your luck, Alex. Even with Carter, do you think you can make it out of here unscathed?"
There were about three people with Alex, while Alistair had five people with him.
"Get out of here, Alex. While you still can."
Alex stared down Alistair, then chuckled.
"You know, you're a real bastard."
Alistair nodded.
"My parents told me the same thing."
Alex looked at George scornfully.
"It seems we're out of time. However, don't worry, this won't be the last time we meet. We'll have plenty of fun times by the end of the year."
"Let's go."
Alex walked out
"George, are you okay?"
George didn't answer.
Looking at Alistair through hazy eyes and a swollen face, George couldn't help but remember Alex's words.
'You're a tool to him!'
For the first time since he met him, George started to doubt Alistair.
'How was Alex able to get in here with Alistair not noticing? It doesn't seem like Alistair to miss that.'
George recalled Alex's words when Alistair showed up.
'You know, you're a real bastard.'
'It seems we're out of time.'
The more George thought about it, the more confused he got.
'No, it's not possible. Alistair wouldn't do that. He said we were similar.'
George couldn't help but look at Alistair through new eyes.
'He couldn't, could he?'
