Acherson was staring at the girl so hard that he barely blinked.

He was thinking hard about what the hell she wanted, and with whom did she have a deal out here. Right now the previous owners are all rotting in a dump pile, or are being fed to pigs.

Whoever you had a deal with does not live here anymore.” He glared at the teenager brat.

But she was not intimidated.

“Know.”

Then what…!

“Me. Come. Make deal with you.” The girl slowly said everything, dubbing it with gestures.

Wait, since the beginning you came to propose something, and ‘cause of your s*y speech nobody can understand you? That’s it?” He facepalmed, and tried to understand what is going on. The teenager nodded.

For a moment Acherson thought that this brat is incredibly stupid. She walked into a bandit camp, unarmed, unescorted, and proposes something.

Avern, under normal circumstances he won’t even budge grabbing her right here right now, using her like a woman with low social responsibility, and selling her for a hefty sum. After all, it's her own problem she came.

But then again, why the hell would a girl like this come here?

Out of sheer curiosity, Acherson beckoned her to continue.

“Let’s hear it.”

“I make you strongest here, you obey me.” He blinked.

And blinked again.

It took him no less than half a minute to process the sheer ridiculousness of her statement. Not even because of the speech, but because of its contents.

Listen, girl, you may be an imbecile, but I’m not! You do f* know where we are, right? Here, in those caves, an entire f* gang was slaughtered like sheep. We just got in here ourselves, and should we cross any gang’s path, we’ll be slaughtered in a blink of your stupid eyes! You’re sure you can make us strongest?!” Acherson was surprised how calm and patient he was today. While the girl was amusing in her stupidity, the offer was too stupid to even consider. However, as he was about to call out the stupid souls who let her through and then follow the original plan, he noticed an abnormality.

The girl was calmly looking at him.

It was weird, since usually even some adult males would wet their pants at the sight of a bandit getting agitated. This teen was not only stupid, but also brave in her stupidity. He could commend her on that much.

But the talk was dragging on for too long.

Albestr! ALBESTR! HAUL YOUR F* A* HERE FASTER!

BANG

“Yes Boss!” A pile of muscles rushed into the room. Albestr was a stupid pile of muscles by any standard. He could kill somebody just by accidentally swinging his log-like arms around. The intimidation effect of this dork is not to be underestimated.

But once again, the girl only glanced at him, uninterested.

You know what? Since you’re so brave, this Uncle will let you choose. Either you get the f* away from here on your own. Or, if you’re up for a challenge, you may as well take down this guy. He may be stupid, but should he hit you, somebody’ll have to scrub you off the walls. If you can defeat him, then it would confirm you’re strong enough to consider your offer. Since to become the strongest, the gang must follow somebody strong. He-he-he.” Acherson laughed, but it was a laugh of irony.

He himself couldn’t beat this stupid mountain of muscles, but since the gang couldn’t survive with Albestr as their leader, the second in strength became one. Until he was stabbed by his trusty second-in-command.

“Ok.” The girl never showed a sign of hesitation.

Her unexpected confidence made him consider taking her in. If she is any good, she may end up a very good assassin. An investment into a better future underground.

RAAAAAA!!!” Albestr charged at the tiny thing with a cry, and before anybody noticed it, the fight was over.

In a single move, the brawny guy was thrown into a wall.

The girl’s right hand turned black with skinny long fingers. Then it slowly shrunk into a normal human hand.

Acherson was bewildered by what happened. He had no idea why or how that happened. No idea how a 150 kg swine was beaten up.

But he knew what to do.

“What I need to do, Boss?” He knelt.

Lick up to your superiors, and kick into fear your subordinates. That is the common way of doing things here.

The girl did just that, he thought. She showed him that she can take them down anytime.

Erhm... Boss?” Because she remained silent, Acherson dared to stop looking at the floor, and looked up at her.

Um? Um!” The girl was deep in thought, and forgot about talking to him.

“The gang is at your service. Command us as you see fit.”

Not understand…!” The girl gestured that she was not understanding his words.

The long and painful attempts at understanding each other began.
