From The Roots I Rise

One day everyone saw the trailer for a new movie. It didn't credit anyone. It only had a release date. Many saw it and many fell in love with it. Then several novels under the same name were released. There was no shipping, They just showed in stores without anyone even noticing. It continued to to spread across all forms of media until finally a video game was released. "From The Roots I Rise" an open world souls-like with a heavy focus on climbing the ash tree. Alex bought the game and chose the murder hobo class as usual, not knowing that he must climb as a normal person. At least thats how he starts. Undying he continues to fight, hoping the burn down the tree that caused his eldritch escapade

(Authors Note: You can probably tell but yeah im a huge souls fan. First game was scholar of sin. I know. Not the best starting point. Anyways after playing so long I wanted to see if I could write a story in a souls like world with a mortal mc. I want to capture the difficulty and against the odds attitude the game displays in words. So yeah this is my attempt to write a souls world from the perspective of a murder hobo. Please note while there will be references the world and characters are made up by me.
