[Claire POV]

We stepped out of the Lightspeed Taxi, which Does not Actually Reach Lightspeed, At the base of a cliff.

"Sis, are you sure that this is the place?"

"Its Where the Adress leads. Let's see... a sensor in the cliff face... Ah! There it is!"

Elissa Ran over to a Very well Concealed Camera, and waved.

"Kain! Its Detective Stormbound. Let us in. We have important news for you."

The rock face rumbled... and a door-sized pillar of rock moved ourward... revealing a flight of stairs.

"Come on, Claire."

I followed my sister down, trying not to Squeal at how cool this was. At the bottom of the stairs, we were met by a robot.

"GEEERTINKS! MAH MAZZZTUR HAZZZ SENT MHEE TO ESSSZZZCURT YOU! BZZZT. FOWLOW MHEE."

"A FRICKIN ROBOT! Thats so cool! Even if it is a bit Stupid!"

I was shocked. That outburst...

"Wow, Sis... that was out of character for you."

"Whaddya mean, Claire? I love Robots. All my Mecha Models... sadly, I had to sell them to collectors to pay for Moms Funeral after... sigh... now I've depressed myself."

"Oh. That's right, I forgot about those. You act so different now... sorry to upset you."

"Not your Fault, Sis... it's my fault. Still... a real ROBOT? I wonder if he has a spare he'd be willing to sell."

<boss, you know That the Professors Nurse is a robot too, right?>

"Yes, I know that Watson, but she's an advanced A.I. piloting a Shell. It's not the same as a self contained Robot."

"Watson make a good point?"

"Yeah. Oh, looks like we are Here."

The little Cube-Bot Led us into a large room with Six Game-pods Built in. One was open, with an Olive-skinned Man in it. He looked to be around 25 or so. He also had no legs, Cybertech Prosthetics from the knee down on one side, and the hip down on the other.

"You girls gonna stand and stare all day, or you gonna tell me the bad news? They're all dead arent they?"

"No... as far as we know, they are alive, Kain... Kyle. But Alice is in the hospital... they shot her and left her for dead."

"Then my Girls ALIVE! OH THANK THE GODS!"

"SO. What do you know about what's going on? And what is this place?"

A voice came from the Speakers.

"Allow me to explain. I am Matchmaker A.I. call me Matcha! Kyle is my father, as he IS one of the programmers of the system."

"Wait, then..."

"That's right, detective. I am your Senior Employee. And the one Whose job was to escort V.I.P. players. Imagine my surprise when I learned I was escorting my Fiancee? And she's Really okay? What about Arven?"

"Both fine. So what do we do?"

"That's easy. We track them from inside. You and your sister pick an Admin Pod. And the three of us Will Work together to find out Where They are being Held."

I was excited. And a little afraid.

"Its Alright, Claire. These pods are safe. You'll be fine."

With Elissa beside me, I faced my fears... And as the pod closed I heard a voice...

[I am Mavis. Welcome, Forgotten Godess. Administrator Access has been granted. Proceed to Character Creation? Y/N]

"Yes."

The world Turned black...
