Chapter 11: A NEW BBEGINNING

Evans woke up in a dense forest. He felt so exhausted that he didn't want to get up. His bones were aching crazily, but his eyes seemed to have cooled down. The burning sensation was no more. And his clothes were all new.

"At least I am not naked," He muttered after noticing his clean, new clothes. He looked just like a regular Ninja, except there was no sign of any village on his clothes.

Suddenly, a transparent screen appeared before his eyes.

But then closed his mouth, jumped up, and looked around. He thought he was in some village's territory and might get attacked by Ninjas for trespassing.

Luckily, he didn't find any chakra traces with his rinnegan. So he slumped down under a tree, "Prevent Nine Tails' rampage. If I am not mistaken, it's the point in the story where Minato and Kushina will die. And this will cause the Uchiha massacre incident." He mumbled to himself.

The Nine tails' attack on the Hidden Leaf Village is an event that happens after the conclusion of the Third Shinobi War.

Then his eyes went toward the Reward and Penalty. Although the Reward was good, the Penalty was worst. Trolls from the Berserk world are not so fun to fight against.

A Nine Tails Fox can be suppressed and sealed by high-class Ninjas, but Trolls are nearly impossible to kill due to their numbers and their nifty ability to regenerate by eating their dead or live kins. It would take ten times more power to kill a hoard of trolls, and if just by some cruel luck, there is a Troll boss- Well, that's a story for another time.

Evans stood up after resting for a bit.

"Ok. Now time to get out of this forest..."

The first thing he needs to do is find out where he is. So, he started to walk blindly in the forest, hoping to find a way out, and then after walking for a few minutes, he heard the sound of flowing water. He ran toward the sound and saw a large stream of flowing water.

"Ah, fresh water..."

Evans ran over to the stream in excitement. He was thirsty as hell. He looked around and found no chakra traces. Then he bent down, scooped water with his palm, and began to drink water from the stream. He didn't even realize how thirsty and hungry he was after the reckless Tutorial battle.

"Let's follow this stream. There must be a small settlement nearby," Evans ran, following the flow of the stream. His plan is to find someplace to eat and find information before deciding on his next move.

And as he imagined, there was indeed a small settlement near a large river where the water from the stream was gathering. There was a large rice field near the river. And people are carrying water from the river to the field.

Evans wanted to rush to that settlement, but he noticed something unusual. The people carrying the water looked thin and malnourished. Some of them were kids who were barely ten or twelve years old.

'Something smells fishy,' He wondered.

Evans concentrated his energy on his feet and quickly jumped up on the top of a nearby tree. He wanted to scan the settlement because it looked like a bandit camp.

He began to scan the area with his rinnegan. It was a bit uncomfortable at first, but after concentrating his mind, he could clearly see Ninjas hiding among those workers.

"So that's what it is... A rouge Ninja camp," He mumbled.

The Third Shinobi War occurred not too long ago, so it was no surprise to see deserters. With all the Villages on high alert, they didn't have anyone to spare and take care of nearby settlements. Well, that's the cruel reality of the Ninja world.

"Kukukuk!!!" Evans clenched his fists and let out a little sinister laughter, "A perfect place to use all my Skills..." He decided to fight those rouge Ninjas and get more familiarized with his Skill system. That way, he can save the innocents and get free food and Infos as compensation. It's a win-win situation. And he always has his Tear Stigma if things get complicated.

"Let's go Super Saiyan this time," Evans jumped down from the tree.
