Chapter 6: AWAKENED STIGMA

Gaara and Sakura were stunned. Their eyes were on the giant black sword that crushed a cursed wheel instantly. It was so big that even the Legendary Swords throughout the Ninja history pale in comparison with it.

"Kekekek!!! This is fun," Evans broke out from the Giant Sand Coffin. He walked past Sakura and Gaara, "Next time, don't interrupt when someone is talking, and don't interrupt when I am fighting. Am I clear?"

Evans' body evolved into a muscular form like Guts'. He has inherited the overwhelming strength and skills of Guts. Even though he never fought anyone in his life, it's like all the techniques Guts ever used are flowing into his brain.

He dashed toward his sword.

<Damn you!!! Die> <Kill!!! Die!!! Shred!!!>

The cursed wheels started to roll toward Evans. He dodged them with ease and pulled out his giant sword from the sand.

[Baaang!!!] "Kukk!!!" Grabbing the sword, he swung it and shattered another cursed wheel, "I will end you all before 10 seconds." Evans yelled.

He knows that he can't waste his precious 60 seconds on some third-grade monsters when the real enemy is out there fighting Naruto and Tsunade. On top of that, he doesn't know how to control his powers. So, he has to do something, maybe a miracle, within this time limit.

[Bang] [Bang] Evans dashed around while swinging that giant lump of iron, crushing and shattering those cursed wheels. Curses and dark energy covered the surrounding. But those negative energies were getting absorbed by the Dragon Slayer. And like he said, it took approx. 10 seconds.

"Is he a human? Can a human move like that while swing that insanely massive sword without using any chakra? No!!! Can we even call that thing a sword?" said Sakura as she witnessed an impossible before her eyes.

She couldn't believe her eyes after seeing Evans' raw strength. She never imagined that it was possible to shatter those unholy creatures like that with just physical strength. And what surprised her more was that she didn't even sense any use of chakra from Evans.

"It's not impossible, at least not for him. But the question is, who is he? And what does he want?" Gaara said while focusing on regaining his chakra.

Even though what he witnessed was like monsters straight out of nightmares, he was certain about one thing. If that man wanted, he could have easily dodged his Jutsu and killed him, but he didn't resist. And the reason was simple.

"He didn't even consider us a threat from the beginning," Gaara muttered. Frustrating as it may be for him, he knows one thing. If that man joins the battle, they might have a chance to defeat the enemy.

"Oi! Gaara, create a sand pillar and push me up," Evans yelled as he grabbed his sword's handle and stood on it like a surfing boat, "And Sakura, punch under my sword and throw me toward that Naruto."

Gaara followed Evans' plan, "Sand Pillar." He didn't have any choice.

He knows that their Jutsu will be useless if the enemy Naruto is fighting is the same as those cursed wheels. Moreover, they didn't have much chakra left. Even if he sent his men to support them, they would end up being nothing more than liabilities.

[Woosh] The sands around Evans began to swirl and pushed him up in the air. Gaara did what he could with his low chakra. Sakura dashed up the sand piller, "Cha!!!" She yelled and punched the giant sword, propelling Evans toward Naruto's location.

"Shadow clone Jutsu," Naruto summoned two clones and started to create the strongest Jutsu he could by pushing all his sage mode's chakra into it.

"It doesn't matter what you use," the Cold and emotionless voice of a man came from the sky, "Analyzing attack..." He extended his hand toward Naruto and opened his palm.

The enemy was floating on a giant blue energy circle. And a giant red star glowing within that circle. The star's edges were sticking out of the circle's radius. His eyes were glowing bright red with the same pattern.

"Giant Rasen Shuriken," Naruto yelled and threw it toward the enemy.

"Analyzing completed... Break!!!" The man in the sky closed his palm.

[Clank] A shattering sound of a mirror swept through the area. Naruto's Jutsu shattered before it could reach the man.

"Damn it!!! Nothing is working..."

Naruto was huffing in exhaustion. His clothes were all torn, and bruises were all over his body. His sage mode ran out after he pushed everything into the last attack. He looked back for a moment.

"Naruto!!! I will provide chakra. So, don't take your eye off him," Tsunade yelled. She wanted to join the fight, but her job as a Medical Ninja was more important in that situation. She was healing and supplying Naruto with chakra.

Both Naruto and Tsunade were at their limit. They knew that the enemy was superior to them. It could be said that he is superior to an Otsutsuki. A walking calamity that they could never defeat in their current state, but they wanted to wear him down as much as possible and deliver a critical injury before their death.

"Would you kill me? With your power? Your resistance... That fire in your eyes... Are you telling me your Ninjutsu and Sage Jutsu would kill me?" The man's voice seems to echo through the surroundings even though there are no walls or buildings but dust and ashes.

[Baaam] [Crackle] "Haaaaa!!! Die!!!" Evans flew toward the enemy at a blinding speed and smashed his giant sword, crushing his lightning barrier and sending him flying. The enemy didn't even have the chance to react or cast his weird spells, "If Ninjutsu or Sage Jutsu doesn't work... How about I beat you down with my Dragon Slayer?" He yelled with a smile.

The massive shockwaves from the clash of Dragon Slayer and the power of lightning swept over the area, pushing Naruto and Tsunade back,

[Boooom] He landed beside Naruto. His black sword was glowing with a dark purple hue over his shoulder under the cold moonlight, creating an eerie situation.

"You are!!!" Naruto and Tsunade were stunned by Evans' explosive entrance.

"That's not important... The thing I wanted to know is... What in the freaking hell is an Awakened Alpha Stigma user doing here?" Evans yelled in confusion.

"Analyze completed... Dragon Slayer detected. Human, raw strength... Die worm!" Two streams of red lightning dashed toward Naruto and Evans.

[Baaang] [Crackle] Evans pulled Naruto behind his back and used the Dragon Slayer Sword as a shield. Luckily, the sword absorbed the lightning attack just like it absorbed those negative energies.
