Chapter 21: Chapter 21: Second Training Level I

Beginning of the year 286 a.C.

(Lancel POV)

This time I travel at night to avoid receiving an attack in my sister's training. Appearing near my sister I find her sleeping in my bed, so I climb into my bed to sleep

The next morning my father wakes me up and tells me, how i insided the house?

Lancel "My sister let me passed" I tell him at the moment to avoid giving him an explanation

Robert "Lisa wakes up" tells her shaking her shoulders

Lisa "In one moment, I'm up for breakfast" she says yawning

Robert "Why didn't you tell me your brother was come last night?" he tells her, while I hold my breath

Lisa "I didn't want to wake you up Dad" she says looking at me, and surely remembering that I suddenly appeared in front of her

Robert "Fine" says as he goes to sit in the dining room

Mary "The food is ready, guys come eat" she says as she places the plates on the table

After my parents left for work, Lisa and I traveled to the castle for training with Ser Arthur Dayne. On the way, my sister asks me, how did I enter into our house?

Lancel "I can only tell you that wherever I find you, I will can appear by your side" I tell her without further explanation

Lisa "Okay" she says and doesn't keep asking

 (third person POV)

Ser Arthur is in the garden training with his two apprentices, one has improved strength and speed, he only lacks technique with swordsmanship. while his apprentice female lacks speed, because the sword technique he shows in the training is complete for combat. Lisa has trained alongside Ser Arthur two years in a row, so her technique is well polished, while Lancel has only been training with him for a year.

For 6 months since Lancel arrived, he has improved his sword technique, and is ready to fight Ser Arthur in a single battle.

Ser Arthur "Let's begin" he says as he stands guard with one hand taking the handle of his wooden sword.

Lancel advances two steps and initiates the attack with a slash from left to right with both hands to Ser Arthur's abdomen, who blocks the attack and steps back and stops blocking, at which point he advances two steps and slashes at neck of Lancel. Lancel steps back and twists his body as he ducks and sends a slash at Ser Arthur's feet.

Ser Arthur deflects the attack and stabs Lancel in the chest. Lancel blocks the stab with the part closest to the hilt of the sword and stands up using the repulsive force of the shock.

Ser Arthur stands half guard as he places his sword with its point to the ground and waits for Lancel's attacks. Lancel attacks with a slash to Ser Arthur's chest, Ser Arthur raises his sword and places it against his shoulder as he takes the cut, making Lancel's hands red from the impact of the clash of the swords.

Ser Arthur "You have to hold your sword lightly, so you don't feel the force of the clash of swords and you don't spend too much force with each attack" he says to Lancel after taking he hand to lift him up and then he picking up the sword again

Lancel blocks the slash with both hands on the sword and sliding his sword under the sword into Ser Arthur's hands. Ser Arthur lowers his right hand and supporting the sword to the side with his left hand parrying Lancel's attack.

Lancel "I got him to use both hands Master" he says with a happy smile on his face

Ser Arthur "Well, you passed, now we will start the second level, put on an armor" he tells him pointing to the armor he brought from the likes of Lancel

After the armor is put on, the second level of combat begins.

Lancel starts with a slash towards Ser Arthur's head, who deflects the attack to his right, and after deflecting the attack he cuts Lancel's right arm, winning on the first attack.

Ser Arthur "Go on" he says putting his guard up once more. While Lancel is hallucinating with the movement so fast with which he lost

Lancel sends a vertical slash through Ser Arthur's chest. Ser Arthur uses the tip of the sword to deflect the attack to his left and swings the sword from left to right and slashes at Lancel's neck.

Ser Arthur tells Lancel to keep attacking, each time that Lancel atack he landed a lethal attack against.

Lancel makes a quick slash to Ser Arthur's left shoulder, which Ser Arthur blocks with his guard and sends a slash from right to left to Lancel's neck.

Ser Arthur slashes from the bottom up at Lancel, which he blocks, but Ser Arthur slides the weapon, stabbing at Lancel's neck.

Lancel slashes from right to left diagonally across Ser Arthur's neck. Ser Arthur blocks and swings his sword to his right deflecting the attack and swinging his blade across his shoulders slashing at Lancel's right side ribs. Lancel makes the same attack but this time from left to right, resulting in him being slashed across the neck by Ser Arthur.

Lancel makes the last attack again, only this time he tilts his sword to his left blocking the slash towards his neck, he crouches and lowers his hands letting the sword pass and stabbing Ser Arthur in the stomach. Ser Arthur takes two quick steps back, dodging the stab.

Lancel slashes from left to right at Ser Arthur's chest. Ser Arthur takes two steps to his right, deflecting the attack over his head, swinging the sword over his shoulders and slashing Lancel's left leg.

Lancel sends a slash to Ser Arthur's waist, Ser Arthur leans his body back in dodge, then attacks by leaning his body forward slashing across Lancel's chest.

Lancel feels pressured, since since Ser Arthur uses both hands he has not been able to be a threat to him.

Lancel sends a slash to Ser Arthur's face. Ser Arthur blocks with the guard, he grabs his sword from the back deflecting Lancel's sword down and sliding his sword over Lancel's sword causing it to tip down and slamming the pommel into his jaw.

Lancel "Stop, let's continue another day" he says rubbing his jaw and leaving the castle with sad eyes

Ser Arthur "Nobody said it would be easy boy" he says seeing Lancel leave, and remembering what happened with his Master in his training
