[Third person POV]

"As he defeated the Basilisk, master Paki Zhak can tell us what other monster he wants this warrior to fight against" Midas tells him again to make a choice, this time he has a lot of gains, and since Paki chooses the monster, he has to pay in favor of your choice

"What other beasts do you have in the dungeons?" Paki asks with obvious anger

"I have a tattooed lizard, and two lion lizards" Midas replies that they are the most ferocious beasts he has in the arena

"Let him fight against your three monsters" Paki tells him with a smile full of cruelty towards Lancel, since he made him lose many gold coins

"As the master orders" Midas tells him turning around

"And tell three archers to shoot arrows at him every ten seconds, that whoever manages to hit him, I'll give him ten gold coins" Paki tells him laughing at the plan he came up with at the moment.

"Okay master" Midas tells him and leaves the arena without looking at Lancel. 'I'm going to bet everything I win in your favor, if you manage to survive I'll give you a part of the winnings' he
thought while looks at him from a safe place

Lancel looks with his senses at three archers in different positions pointing an arrow at him, while three creatures come out of the pit, one similar to a velociraptor with powerful hind legs with sharp nails, the roar that is heard is very sharp, unbearable for those who are close to the beast

Two lion lizards come out of another pit, they have small but sharp claws, their snout is so big that half a human body can fit in it, their skin is dark and thick, and from their head to their hind legs they have horns like moose

Before starting the fight, everyone heard that the bet is one hundred to one, many were glad for such an offer, but they looked at the fighting pits and the archers at different ends waiting for the opportunity to hit the warrior with an arrow; and they think it is not a good offer for them

"Bet all or nothing" Oberyn tells Amir

"But we won a lot in the previous bet" Amir tells him showing him two boxes full of gold coins

"It doesn't matter, bet everything or nothing" Oberyn tells him excited to earn more in the fighting pits than they have in their family coffers

"I don't think they can pay us that bet" Amir tells him with doubts that Lancel will win, so he tries to convince Oberyn one way or another.

"Just listen to my uncle" Rhaenys tells him, disgusted by the way he looks disdainfully towards the pit.

"Do it, plus he'll beat the beasts easily, because he has Basilisk poison left on his sword" Lisa tells him with a frown

"Really? But there are still the archers" Amir tells them pointing towards their positions

"He will be able to dodge every arrow," Oberyn tells him, urging him to offer his bet.

"I'm not responsible if you lose your money, but I want my share now" Amir tells them taking out a piece of paper for them to sign that they owe him three hundred five gold coins

"Give me, after we win you can't demand more coins" Oberyn tells him signing the paper

"I'm going to bet" Amir tells them going to the betting place of the nobles

In the fighting pits they release the beasts and run towards Lancel, he asks for a spear and takes out his sword, in his left hand he has the sword of dawn and in his right he has a blunt iron spear at the tip

The tattooed lizard approaches him faster than the other two lion lizards, Lancel runs towards him and with the impulse he buries the spear in the sand and leans on it to jump. And from the air gives him an accurate cut in the neck to the tattooed lizard, he falls dead, but the archers release their arrows in the direction of Lancel's blind spot when he lands

Lancel sees them coming with his spiritual sense and blocks them with his sword behind his head, the other two monsters approach to overwhelm him. Lancel runs towards the spear and seizes the middle of it with his right hand, then puts all his strength into it and throws the spear at a lion lizard as it opened its muzzle, impaling its head from within the beast.

The last attack was made by burying his sword in the monster's head when it approached to bite him, but at that moment the three archers send arrows without stopping, Lancel looks at them with a frown and jumps back carrying his sword with him

Lancel approaches the custodian of the spears and asks for three while deflecting the arrows with his sword. Taking a spear, he throws it to the center of the pit, and does the same with the other two. He then runs to the center deflecting the arrows and picks up a spear and hurls it at an unsuspecting archer, the spear pierces the archer's chest, the other two stop in fear as they see one of them fall into the arena dead; with a spear across his chest

"You have two options: 1) jump into the arena and leave a hand or 2) have the same fate as this archer" Lancel tells them with anger in his gaze

The two archers jump into the arena, crouching down waiting for their punishment. Lancel approaches them and asks who they work for, one of them tells him that they are slaves who can only follow orders or die.

"I'll get you out of this place, pretend you died, and follow me from now on" Lancel tells them making them stand up, then he makes a cutting movement towards their necks drawing a little blood. The two archers fall in the fighting pits faking his death

"That was a magnificent performance" Midas tells him with a cheerful smile, since the he win two hundred thousand coins won against the masters

"Go with my friends, don't get away from them, they can take care of you if there are reprisals against you" Oberyn tells him in a low voice

"Thank you master" Amir tells him going towards the group

"Since you made me earn a lot of coins, I'll give you fifty thousand gold coins from my earnings, it's a pleasure to do this kind of business with you" Midas tells him; patting him on the back and laughing at the wealth he accumulated.

"I need you to bring the two archers I defeated, they are still alive, I want that they to follow me from now on" Lancel tells him, pointing to the fighting pits.

"You two, go and bring me those two archers" Midas tells them, pointing to the center of the pit.

"Thank you" Lancel says with a kind smile.

"I work for money, so it will cost you ten thousand gold coins" Midas tells him laughing when he sees Lancel's reaction.

"It seems that they are having fun" Oberyn tells them entering the place

"It's been a long time since I last looked at you, Prince Oberyn" Midas tells him, when he recognizes him

"You're still as greedy as ever" Oberyn tells him, laughing just like Midas

"Master, do we win something?" Lancel asks him intrigued

"Hahaha, not a little, a lot yes" Oberyn tells him explaining how much they earned

"How lucky" Lancel tells him touching the edge of the sword and hurting his finger

"I forgot to tell you that the Basilisk is poisonous" Oberyn tells him as he watches Lancel bleed from a wound on his thumb.

"Shit...!" Lancel says looking at his finger, because a moment ago, he took off his gloves, Basilisk's blood-stained gloves

"Here I have the antidote, it will cost you twenty thousand gold coins" Midas tells him laughing at his fortune and the misfortune of others

"Okay, discount it from what you offered me" Lancel says with relief knowing that Midas has an antidote

"It's the most expensive antidote I've ever sold, because in the city markets it's sold for two gold coins" Midas tells him, laughing when he sees Lancel's reaction

"Let's go, or he'll keep scamming you" Oberyn tells Lancel, seeing how he loses money so quickly against this slaver

"Can you give me the remaining twenty thousand coins?" Lancel asks wanting to get out of Midas's presence in case he gets mad and kills this con man.

"Take that chest, it already has twenty thousand coins counted" Midas tells him with a smirk

"Load the chest" Lancel tells the two archers, then says goodbye to Midas and they join the others and leave to find an inn.
