Chapter 9: Chapter 9: Arrival at King’s Landing

(Lancel POV)

6 hours after setting sail, the ship moves quickly due to the water currents and the wind in favor, according to the captain we will arrive two hours before dawn at King's Landing

Lancel "Rest, I'll wake you up when we get there, we'll need all the resistance we can give, and we'll have to do it fast, because they won't be long in reaching the castle"

Oberyn "I can't sleep or rest, I'm extremely worried about my sister, and I still think that by not believing you I made the wrong decision and put my sister in danger" he said with a sad face

Lancel "Maybe we wouldn't be able to convince Lord Doran Martell, and he could have beheaded me on the spot, so you still made a wise decision, I feel like we'll still be on time."; 'I affirm this because the system would have already given the notification of the failure of the mission'

Oberyn was silent, his hands on the spear he procured from a trusted guard before our meeting on the dock.

Tywin Lannister was outside the castle door waiting for the doors to open, in a few minutes he sent a letter to the King to give the order to open its doors

Tywin "Be prepared, when the doors open we are going to loot and kill as many men, women and children as we find on the way, remember that the war is already in favor of Robert Baratheon, and if we do not achieve some achievement. He will not allow us to join his cause" he told his commanders

On the other hand, Lancel and Oberyn put set foot on the shores of King's Landing with a boat that they took from the ship, Lancel told him that they should enter where there are fewer obstacles that can stop them, from outside the castle on the shores the laments were heard and war cries

Lancel "We must hurry" he said then he entered a tunnel that connects with the castle, Oberyn follows closely

On the throne, Aerys II Targaryen, learning of Tywin Lannister's betrayal, yelled at Jaime "Kill the traitor" and ordered the new hand Wisdom Rossart to light the Valyrian fire hidden in the city saying "Let him be King over bones calcined and cooked meat. Let him be King of the ashes" as Jaime approaches him and plunges his sword into his back and kills Rossart, and then King Aerys II Targaryen himself on the Iron Throne, then takes the crown and climbs the Iron Throne to await the arrival of his father

Upon entering the castle, Tywin Lannister commands Gregor and Amory to kill Elia and her children to present them to Lord Robert Baratheon to win his favor, as well as an alliance.

Searching for Elia and her children as they climb Maegor's Keep, Oberyn and Lancel meet Amory and Gregor.

Lancel "We must knock them out, not kill them" he said to Oberyn

Oberyn "Okay" he said without thinking too much about what Lancel ordered

Oberyn faced a young Gregor, while Lancel fought against Amory and defended himself with his short sword, the power in each Amory's sword strike was more than he could bear due to his physique. Elia "Yes, I am," he says, then gets up and pulls 3-year-old Rhaenys out from under the bed.

Lancel walks over to the bodies of Gregor and Amory and touches their foreheads, then gets up and starts throwing cloth and pictures around the room.

Oberyn "What are you doing?" puzzled question

Lancel "Simulating the death of Princess Elia and her children" he says. Then drags Gregor and Amory's bodies out of the room and closes the door. Then spreads the fire from the fireplace across the room.

Lancel "Lord Oberyn, trust me, hug Princess Elia and take my hand. Princess Rhaenys take my hand" he says showing them his hands

Oberyn immediately hugs Elia and takes Lancel's hand, as he asks Rhaenys to listen and hold Lancel's hand, Rhaenys takes her hand and immediately everyone feels a slight dizziness and when it stops they are on the shoreline cost near a boat outside King's Landing, with a Lancel breathing heavily

Oberyn "What kind of magic is this?" he says surprised, as he remembers Lancel putting a hand on the boat and has left a star mark on it

Lancel "Go by sea with Princess Elia and Prince Aegon, I will go by land with Princess Rhaenys and we will meet at Sunspear" he says, then takes the princess by the hand and course leaves for the royal forest.

Oberyn "See you later boy" says taking Elia along with Aegon and gets her on the boat and sails to the sea where the fleet is waiting for him, although he still doesn't understand why Lancel does this, after the magic he showed he will listen to him in everything that I can

Eli "Will they be alright?" worried question

Oberyn "You realized what he did, so they'll be fine" he says noticing how pale his sister is

In another scenario...

Waking up from the genjutsu, Gregor and Amory only see the room burning with Valyrian fire and only remember that after murdering the children and raping Elia, the room burst into flames and they ran out.
