Tal walked through the city while listening to some gossip and small talk.

He got to know somw minor things which were common knowledge around people of this kingdom. Like who the king was, who was the strongest puplic known person etc.

All the while a girl was trailing behind him. After two hours of walking did he stop and turned around.

"Say, you and the man had a shop right? How about I buy it from you?"

Lara was awaken from that sentence. Right! The shop was the reason for all of this!

" I think my father has the paper of the shop. If we go to the Commerce guild there could maybe be a way to writte it over to you. I don't need it anymore anyway."

Tal wasn't interested that she was sounding a little down, all he had in his mind was to open a shop and do some leisurly work. He didn't need the money and now that he had some memories from Pan, he also didn't need common sense. That was at least what he thought.

A Sovereign opening shops in the lower realm and selling anything one could dream about. Even the other Sovereigns would descend to buy from him. If somebody in the Upper Realm asked who had hoarded the most, all would just say the Sovereign of the First Peak.

"Let's go to this Commerce guild. Crystals aren't the problem. Lead the way."

Tal gave Lara the leadl and just followed behind her. He didn't see the confusion in her eyes, why were crystals not a problem? They traded with coins.

After several minutes of walking they finally entered a building with several floors. It was a busy place, seen by how people ran from one counter to another.

"The counter on the far left is for buying and renting buildings." Lara pointed towards a counter and walked towards it.

An old woman with glasses was sutting bwhind the counter, seemingly bored. It was a good oayed job but not many people used the counter.

Lara greeted the women and began to tell her take, she didn't talk about the thughs. Obly how her father left and still had the papers with him and so on.

The women was skeptical at first but plainly said wasn't interested in anything except hard earned cash.

"So this man here wants to buy the shop in the outskirt,  plot #3612? To re-write the certidicate and the paper work plus the the price of the land it would be 432 gold coins."

Lara was a little angry, the plot of land only costet 230 gold coins, how come it skyrocket to almost double of that?

Tal pulled out a impure spirit crystal and put it on the counter. "I don't know the exchange rate, just give me what's left of it."

The old women almost wanted to throw the crystal at Tal, give him the rest of it? Did he think a crystal was worth more than several gold coins?

Luckily for her before she could say anything did a young man walk up to them.

"Greetings! May I know if you would sell me this crystal?"

Lara was scared, where the hell did this glittering man come from? His outfit could only be called peacock like. A rainbow would even be ashamed of itself if they were to call themself multicoloured.

The old women was scared because she knew the person. The 5th prince of the kingdom. He always hangs around in the commerce guild to look for antiques and rarities.

"Pay that old women and we have a deal. I don't like people wasting my time too much."

Tal wanted to get this done. He couldn't understand how mortals couldn't even know what a spirit crystal is. As for getting ripped off? He could just throw impure spirit crystals while walking and he wouldn't care.

"432 gold coins? It seems a little bit cheap for a spirit crystal, I rather not rip off someone who can take this thing out."

The 5th prince, Elias, knew spirit crystals worth. His father, the king, guards one as if it was his lifeline. Not to say that anybody who would use it to buy something, had a rather powerful background.

Also this man before him had a space ring, which the old women didn't realize.

"No, that's ok. We will leave now. Lara show the way, we are going to eat."

Tal walked away leaving a dumbfounded trio behind. The old women thought she had an illusion, Lara was scared about how Tal conducted everything and Elias was puzzled as to how someone can be this non-chalant.

Lara bowed to Elias and said to the old women. "I will come and pick up the certificate tomorrow. Have a nice day."

Now only two people were left in the corner, both silent.

"Granny, what exactly did they want to buy?"

After having explained to the 5th prince what the unusual duo was here for and getting paid by him. She turned around and left to make a certificate.

Meanwhile Elias was rubbing his chin. "A shop, someone who can just throw away a spirit crystal opening a shop. Seems I have to visit them after they open and if possible don't let my other brothers and sister know!"

Lara was catching up to Tal and asked a question which bugged her since she knew he wanted to open a shop.

"Mister, what kind of shop do you run?"

"Hmm, a shop which sells anything, you want it I have it. Simple, right?"

"Anything? But why would you open a shop like that?"

"To have some small talk and live a life free of violence and fighting, why? Also don't call me mister, I will be your master after today."

Lara almost tripped, what were those reasons? Especially the small talk part!

"Mis-Master, people don't go and buy things to have small talk. That's more in the alley of some bar or restaurant."

Lara hit a rock, no Tal,  who stood still as if struck by lightning.

"So you want to say, if I make a bar or restaurant that people will automaticly be more prone to small talk?"

"Y-yes? Isn't that normal? If you go and drink or eat something with your friends you will talk about life, aspirations, rumors and many more things."

Could it really be that the person before her had no common sense? Did he never drink or eat out?

"I can't cook, I have drinks but maybe they are too strong for here...wasn't there that Rainbow Divine Restaurant? Surerly they will not say no if I borrow a cook from there."

Lara puzzled as ever while listening to Tal saw him vanish into thin air.

"Go and wait at the shop, I will be back soon" Hearing him, a sudden urge to just run was in her head. What being did she met? If she wanted answers she had to do what he said, he also didn't seem like a bad guy. A blockhead maybe but not scum.

In the Upper Realm on a beautiful flying island stood the famoust restaurant. The cooks and the ingredients they had were top of the top. A single meal could cost more than 50 pure spirital crystals which made most people unable to enjoy even a tiny bit.

On the highest floor a women in red was leisurly drinking from a mug.

"Ahhh since Tal left this place has become much quieter. We even have a truce treaty with the demons now. It was a good idea to let that battle junky go and have a vaccation. Luckily he only knows about fighting, asshole just couldn't sit still for more than a month. Who just waltz in enemy territory and starts a war? Thrice!!"

The women was called Jenny, she was one of the only friends Tal had. At least they both said it like this. She wanted more from him but If the disscusion wasn't about fighting or plundering, you would meet a wall.

"Jenny I will borrow a cook, thanks, see you later"

"Yeah ok, no problem" Jenny took a sip from the mug and immediately spit it out after realizing who talked and what he said. Alas it was too late.

It wasn't that she did mind what he said, no the problem was he only knew of one cook here! Her personal cook Alejandro! With a quick scan her fear become truth.

"Hehehehe ohh Tal, I will let you pay for that!" Her red hair and eyes began to spark and fire came alive. After some seconds she calmed down and thought about another problem.

"Why would he need a cook? Was his brain already on the way to function normaly?"
