Seth chuckled and nodded: “We will, but we must first stabilize Blood as quickly as possible. I’ll need your creation abilities the most, so get ready for some hard work.”

Pearl nodded and remained silent. She had already pledged her allegiance to Seth, so nothing more was necessary.

Seth spent about an hour answering questions everyone had about the move before deciding it was time for him to get to business. Turning towards Pearl, he created a small booklet full of schematics.

Pearl picked it up and even if she didn’t understand what it was, she could figure out how to make it from the instructions on the schematics. Turning towards Seth, she asked: “What is this?”

“Well, relying on carriages will take too long. This thing should bring us to the south a lot quicker. I will need you to build it in the forests outside the city. I’ll give you one week to do it.”

Pearl nodded with a serious look, even if she did not know how it was supposed to work.

Seth rounded everyone and created a portal outside the city walls. There, he quickly built the family a decently sized wooden house to ward off the cold and gave them a few vials of fire energy.
