Seth teleported into Hollie’s room and found her wearing a pure white dress, sitting on the edge of the bed with a small trunk by her side. Once Seth appeared, she stood up with a serious look and nodded toward him.
“Is this all you’re taking with you?”
“I need nothing else. I have a few things I kept from my parents and some clothes, but I know you can make me more if I need them.”
Seth smiled and opened a portal leading out of the city, right in front of the airship. Seth had her get ready earlier since she was the one responsible for piloting the airship.
When Hollie's eyes landed on the airship docked in the middle of the forest, her eyebrows rose in surprise as she asked: “Are you going to have Maya build us a river all the way to the Blood Kingdom?”
Seth chuckled and turned towards the airship as well. “No need. This thing will fly through the sky. Float us up there. I’ll give you a tour of the inside.”
Hollie nodded, her interest piqued as she surrounded both of them in a bubble of air and they both floated on the deck.
Seth took her hand and led her down a flight of stairs into the hull of the ship. There was an enormous balloon, almost the size of the entire hull. All around the air balloon, there was a corridor with small cabins for everyone to rest during their journey.
Seth estimated it will take them two to three months to reach the Blood Kingdom, so everyone needed a place to rest, even more so for the ones that were not ascended.
After finishing his tour of the ship, Seth had her choose one room where she would stay and started explaining how the ship will fly.
The air in the central balloon will get heated by Tiana, while Hollie will have to use her energy to help the ship stay afloat. She was also responsible for guiding the air currents to push on the ship’s sails.
It took him almost an hour to explain everything to her. He wanted to do a test as well, but since Tiana was not there to heat the air inside the balloon and the system guaranteed it would work, he gave up on the idea.
Once he was done explaining everything to Hollie, Seth took her to another cabin, where he knocked on the door. After the door opened, a tired-looking Pearl walked out.
Seeing it was Seth, she was about to kneel when Seth stopped her. “Don’t bother. Sorry for having you do all the work around here. I just came to introduce someone to you.”
Pearl looked toward Hollie and nodded before looking back at Seth. Smiling wryly, Seth said: “She’s Hollie. An air ascended teacher at the academy. She’ll be in charge of flying the airship south. I didn’t want you to stumble upon each other later and not know who you were. She’s also the one that flew me to the Wrath Kingdom to save your parents, so play nice with her.”
Pearl’s eyes gained some life as she took another look at Hollie and bowed slightly. “Thank you for helping with my family’s rescue.”
“No problem. I did it because Seth asked me to.”, said Hollie indifferently, not understanding why Seth was introducing her to this little girl.
Pearl nodded again and turned to Seth. “I’ll introduce her to my family as well. Anything else?”
Seth rubbed the back of his head, finding things sort of awkward, before saying: “No, that’s all. I have other things to do in the city, so I’ll leave you two alone.”
Seeing both of them nod, Seth teleported away, making his way towards the city. He spent the entire day taking care of minor things he had left to do. He emptied his creation source twice to fill the kingdom’s treasury with gold, made sure his storage was packed to the brim with food, and so on.
Gold held no value to him, but the kingdom could use it, so he didn’t mind filling the treasury before leaving. It was more of a safety measure in case anything unexpected were to happen while he was far away in the south.
Once he was done with the treasury of the kingdom, he went to speak some things with Xendar and told him to gather as many energy vials as he can while he was away.
By the time he was done with everything, it was already close to evening. He was once more sitting on the academy’s monument, looking into the distance, when the notification he was expecting appeared.
<The king has entered the royal chambers and is alone at the moment.>
Taking a deep breath, Seth disappeared like a mirage from the monument, appearing inside the king’s chambers. The king was just getting ready to go to sleep when he noticed Seth’s appearance in his chambers.
He was about to scream when a blade of destruction energy appeared at his throat, freezing his mouth wide open. Sweat started dripping down his forehead as he watched Seth slowly approaching.
Seth had an indifferent expression as he looked at the cowering king, his eyes slowly growing redder with each second as his voice escaped his lips: “Kneel.”
The king shuddered at Seth’s words, but he didn’t move at all. A king kneeling in front of someone else was a disgrace he was not willing to bring upon his name.
Seth didn’t mind his resistance as he pushed the destruction blade against his neck, causing a small trail of blood to make its way down the king’s neck as he repeated: “Kneel.”
The king clenched his fists, staring into Seth’s eyes with unwillingness written on his face.
‘Break him.’ Ordered Seth inside his head and his eyes flashed dark red for an instant. The king’s eyes widened and shook, with red foam forming at the corner of his mouth.
A pungent smell also permeated the room as he finally fell to his knees and started bleeding from every orifice in his body.
<12% source damage.>
Seth ignored the notification as he swallowed the blood that emerged in his mouth back and grabbed the king’s chin, lifting his face to look at him.
“When I tell you to kneel, you will kneel. Understood?”
Seth’s words fell on deaf ears as the king looked to have been terrified into unconsciousness. His eyes were still open, with blood flowing out of them, but there was a lost look inside them.
“What a useless piece of trash. Even a little girl like Leora didn’t act like this when she peered at my divinity.”

<Host, his soul is heavily damaged. Leora was used to trauma, having experienced it all her life, but the king has lived a privileged and comfortable life. It will take him at least a month to recover from this damage enough for him to even speak.>
Seth sighed and teleported the king into the bed. Quickly using his destruction and creation sources to clean the traces of his presence there, he shook his head and teleported out of the palace.
He planned to use his divinity on him first and then threaten him to not send Iris on pursuing after them, but this worked just as well. With the heavy injury to the king’s soul, he won’t probably dare to antagonize Seth for a long time.
Seth appeared inside the library next. Aleena was sitting on the couch, her legs covered with a soft blanket, as she skimmed through a thin book. Feeling something, she looked up from her book and saw Seth looking at her with a smile.
She felt sort of shy, but this didn’t stop her from standing up and bowing. “Are we leaving?”
“Indeed. Are you ready?” asked Seth after not seeing any luggage or anything else in the room besides books.
Seeing her nod, Seth asked nothing else and teleported her back on the ship. He took Aleena first since she asked for it, willing to see more of the airship before their departure. Looking around the now empty library, Seth sighed and teleported to his parents’ place.
He kept opening portals while drinking energy vials like candy to keep up with his space energy consumption until he took almost everyone out of the city. All that was left was The Oconner Family and Maya.
Seth first went to The Oconner family, where he found everyone gathered inside the main hall. There were around twenty people there, excluding the servants.
The family head was holding onto his wife’s hand to stand up, a forced smile on both of their faces. Lisa was next to them, her head lowered and expression indiscernible. Every other member of the family looked especially confused by the sudden decision to leave the kingdom.
Seth’s appearance out of nowhere did nothing to ease their confusion but made a feeling of fear appear in their hearts as well. Seth ignored the looks he was getting and created a portal in the middle of the hall.
“We’re leaving, so hurry and walk into the portal. Leave all the gold you’re carrying behind. You’ll have no use for it.”
As the others turned to look at the family head, Saif nodded with the same forced smile, making the others have no choice but to do as they were told.
They entered the portal one by one, only Lisa being left there in the end. Seth saw that she never lifted her head to look at him even once, ever since he appeared there.
He knew the system would have informed him if her parents talked, but he also knew there was a high chance of her figuring it out on her own.
“Lisa…” said Seth softly, approaching her, but Lisa took a step back and lifted her head to stare at Seth with a heartbroken look in her eyes.
“Why? Didn’t you say that you will respect our choice? Why did you do that to father?”
Seth sighed and said: “Because I wanted you to come with me to the south and knew that you want it as well. If I let things be, you would have stayed here, worried the king might punish them for your desertion. We both know your father was too stubborn and threatening him was the best way to - “
“Yes, threatening him, but why did you have to cut off his…” Lisa’s face turned red from both shame and anger as she stopped her words there.
Seth heaved a sigh, not able to tell her he lost control slightly under the influence of his divinity.
Lisa looked into Seth’s eyes and said: “I won’t forgive you for this, Seth. I agreed to you forcing my parents to leave since I wanted to continue being your student, but this all ended when you hurt them. Bring them back. We’re no longer following you south.”
Seth sighed and nodded. “Fine, but you know what will happen if you remain here?”
Lisa frowned but didn’t answer Seth's question since she had never really thought about it.
“I know I went too far in what I did to your father, but if you were the only person associated with me that remains inside the kingdom once I leave, what do you think will happen?”
“I can deal with Iris, but you can’t. She’ll find you, capture you and hand you over to the king, who will torture you for information. When you refuse to talk, they will slowly torture each one of your family members in front of you, until you will have no choice but to comply and speak.”
“The moment you speak, I’ll have to kill you nonetheless. Lisa, do you think your father’s dick was too much of a price to pay so that you all might live? I already told you when you became my student; I will never allow space knowledge to fall into the hands of someone I can’t trust.”
“I can let you stay here, but I must also let you know that if you turn around now, you’re condemning yourself and your family to a horrible and painful death.”
Lisa frowned even deeper, mixed emotions visible in her eyes. “Aren’t you telling me this just to force me to come south?”
“Just think about it, Lisa. Isn’t this the normal thing to happen? Do you think stealing a bunch of ascended from the academy and running to another kingdom has no consequences? Not even mentioning you, who will remain here, Iris might even pursue us to the south.”
Lisa remained silent, a conflicted expression on her face until eventually, she made her way towards the portal. Before she passed through, she said a simple: “I hate you.”, and stepped through.
Seth smiled wryly and closed the portal. He had only told her half of the truth. The king might not even have the courage to touch her, but he didn’t want to take any risk, and he also didn’t want to leave her behind.
“Well, I’ll see how I pacify her on the way. I might even have to regrow a dick for that idiot.”, muttered Seth as he teleported into Maya’s room.
There, he found Maya and Tiana chatting on the bed next to a sweaty, fat man that was sitting by the side. Seeing Seth appear out of nowhere, the girls stopped talking, and the man took a step back in fear.
“Everything ready?” asked Maya, ignoring the man’s reaction.
“Yes, we’re leaving. Let’s go.”
