A 19-year-old prodigy, university student Ran Shoku was blessed with fierce intelligence and a body born for battle. Both of which he makes great use of in his study of martial arts.

Sadly, such skills don't help when a meteor comes hurling towards your home, bent on putting you out onto the streets. In an attempt to save his beloved mother inside their house, he was nearly hit by a figure wrapped in flames, propelled by his house's destructive explosion. Luckily, he was saved by an unknown portal behind him that immediately pulled him in.

On the other hand, he discovers a world unlike anything he could have imagined. A world where fantasy and science come together in chaotic harmony. From users of magic and spirits to survivors of post-apocalyptic worlds who wield advanced cybernetics, What's more, he learns that these people were also summoned. They were taken, saved from the destruction of their homes at the hands of world-enders known as the Divinities. Now, everyone works together to avenge their lost family and friends.

Having just lost everything he held dear, Ran soon finds himself among their ranks. And, having reason to believe his mother has been reincarnated somewhere outside of this vast starry sky, he goes in search of her right away.

After becoming a God Slayer of Azona together with his teammates, he'd already scoured hundreds of thousands of parallel worlds to find his lost mother. And yet, despite his fervor, her whereabouts remained a mystery.

But the years only hardened him, his determination to find her not wavering in the slightest. No matter how long it took, he'd only clench his jaw and soldier on.

Follow Ran as he sets off on new adventures together with his teammates, fighting Divinities, meeting new allies, saving survivors from different parallel worlds and uncovering the secrets hidden outside the kingdom of Azona.
