"What happened"

The heavy pressure on his body was forcing him to kneel down, though he held himself in the place stubbornly, but it was still too difficult to stay standing as he couldn't use any spiritual qi inside his body, His body was sweating heavily at the moment as the blood seeped out from his wounded shoulder,

So, the Heavenly Tribulation is the punishment of the Heavenly Dao against those who goes against it.

It involves a trial where someone is forced to survive a huge natural disaster. It often takes the form of a bolt of lightning or series of bolts of lightning where the character will be forced to survive ever increasing powerful lightning.

But as the Heavens is the will of the world, all the people whether they are Humans or Demons or any Magic Beasts, they all comes under its authority and can't go against it

As such the Heavenly Tribulation is directly locked on the target.

Therefore no one ever dared to involve in someone else's tribulation as that person would be obliterated directly.

So, the cultivator only have two choices while facing the Heavenly Dao , either to face it using defensive techniques or artifacts or fight against it directly like some heaven defying cultivators do in those cultivation novels.

And as the system told the host before that the Heavenly Dao would not obliterate all existences that violated its rules with supreme and unstoppable power. As the saying went, the heavens would never cut off all exits. The Heavenly Dao would always leave behind the slimmest chance of survival even for those heaven defying cultivators which goes against it, making it a contradictory concept

but that is only if it involves these two cases.

No one can really avoid a Heavenly tribulation.

And although the Thunder strike still hit your shoulder, but it was supposed to hit your head, which you avoided by moving away your head, so that was not supposed to happen as you can only defend against it and as you already know that the Heavenly Dao of this world is already very weak and views every anomaly as the threat to its existence, you were already such case and now that you violated its authority directly it won't even leave behind the slimmest chance of survival for you]

"So, you want to say that I should have let that lightening strike hit my head?"

He would have been injured heavily if he hadn't avoided that..

Who in their right might would have let that happen??

Anything related to it doesn't come under anyone's authority and it is something that dominates everything.

The Heavens can't dictate you as you aren't under its authority, so you can easily avoid the laws of the heaven as they have no effect on you.

That's also the reason you can travel to different world easily and devour any type of spiritual energy and also transform your own spiritual qi into any other.

So, even though it locked your head as the target, you could still move your head escaping the blow, though you can't still avoid it completely]

"So, it was because of the physique and cultivation technique."

On the other hand, he never thought that thing which destroyed his life was that powerful.

But now that he think about it, that's why no matter how much he tried, he couldn't do anything against that.

'Why did I sneeze suddenly'

Xun'er thought as she looked nervously at the good looking figure in the screen, though if one looked carefully she also had a confused expression on her face.

She had too many things she wanted to ask the system, but it had gone silent since she saw that Big Brother appearing in front of the screen and it hasn't replied to her since then.

As he watched the lightning appeared once again, but this time the colour it was Dark Purple coloured as he was still trying to unseal his cultivation three continuous lightening strikes hit him one by one at a very fast speed, although the target this time was his wounded right shoulder as it crushing his bones completely as the blood gushed out of him like a tide,

It seemed like a message to him, and the one he didn't really like.

It was really bad situation, although he didn't care about the pain but the huge  loss of blood would be a problem for him as he can't even use the healing pills while facing the heavenly Tribulation.

While he was thinking

Another rumble echoed as the next lightning strike fell

Boom!

Straight at his Dantian and as defenseless as he was, he couldn't avoid the blow, the thunder completely tore apart the flesh and the inner bones were crushed completely, as he fell down on the ground.

"Tian'er" "Brother" Two loud screams echoed at the same time, from the mouths of both the women one watching from the side lines and the other one watching from the screen.

At this moment seeing the person they cared much for,  being in such a state, they both desperately wanted to rush to his side and protect him from anything, but they could't.

One was in the other world and couldn't be there even if she wanted to and could only cry silently and the other one was stopped by the eyes of the figure lying on the ground, as he shook his head at her

seemingly reminding her not to come as he smiled slightly even in such state that smile was still so bright and it managed to stop her advance but she still remained close to the Tribulation,

She knew that their was still hope for him now but if she went there and interfered it would be hopeless for both of them.

but if something bad happened she would directly interfere and rescue him or perish together with him.(Well ...)

But for now, she could only watch with her red eyes as the boy who made her smile once again which she thought she had forgotten faced the deadly Heavenly Tribulation.

"Ugh"

Lying sideways and he gave an assuring smile towards the woman who was rushing towards him in a high speed, trying to stop her which he managed to do, for now atleast.

'Really what is wrong with you women?'

He thought, although he spent almost the entire time with this women since he came to the sect, but most of that was before he got his memory back, so he didn't know much about her and he even found out that she was the mysterious sect master just a few weeks ago.

And although she revealed her identity to him but from her noble aura and powerful strength he still didn't think that she was just a Sect master of a small sect in a remote are but knew also had another secret identity , but he didn't ask, as he had many secrets too.

So, even though he had an otherworldly face that any women would swoon over him, he didn't think she was someone who would like someone just based on his looks and even though she always tried to take advantage of him before, pinching and kissing his good looking face but that was only because he was a naive four yr old child afterall and he was so cute, no one could really resist him so,he didn't think much about that

(No one care resist the cuteness)

and she also seemed to take care of him a lot,

but after he got his memories back though he treated her the same as before but he also gave subtle hints reminding her that he wasn't just a child, so if she found out the truth in the future she won't think that he betrayed her trust or took advantage of her hiding behind his childish facade and she would have probably felt that too but she still didn't stop her antics, instead did the opposite and increased them further.

And now

'Was she really trying to perish together with him'

He knew she was a powerful cultivator herself so he didn't think she didn't know what happens when someone try to interfere in someone else's Tribulation.

And because she knew about it and still tried to do this really put him into a difficult situation now.

It seemed like what she was muttering that day was true after all.

But one thing for sure he had enough of people he cared about trying to sacrifice their life for him.

Coughing out some blood from his mouth he turned sideways once more as he lied on his back towards the ground and his eyes looking at the sky as he muttered coldly.
