Chapter 24: Chapter 22: Speech

As the tumult muted down, Mr. Gladius took a step back and positioned himself in between the other professors.

Then a woman from the rows of professors took a step forward. She looked gorgeous. She wasn't even that old, she had to be in her late 20ies. Even her outfit was astonishing. Her outfit was different from the ones that the other professors had. Most of the professors were wearing just the same school uniform as the students did, though theirs were a bit more elegant and the female professors were also wearing a blazer instead of just a sweater.

The woman on the other hand clearly didn't follow that rule, as she visibly placed importance on her appearance.

She was wearing a black, knee-length pencil skirt, black stockings, and a white blouse, which highlighted her voluptuous bonkers.

To sum it up, she rocked that sexy secretary look.

'I guess she must be the most popular professor of this academy, judging from all the lustful looks of the male students.'

Hiroki was thinking to himself, not paying attention to what the woman just said.

'To be honest, I would also go after her if I didn't already have Gaia... Maybe I can convince her to turn a blind eye once. hehe'

Hiroki blushed. Gaia on the other hand could already tell what he was thinking. She turned her head and started pouting, as she was jealous of that woman in some way.

"Hmpf"

She didn't like Hiroki lusting after other women, she wanted him for herself. But if they were to do something as a trio, she couldn't refuse Hiroki's request.

Obviously, Hiroki had read her thoughts, thus he started to smile.

He was happy to know, that, firstly his wife was very possessive over him. He really liked that as it just showed her huge love for him. But he was also happy, that some trio action was possible.

Maybe he'll start working on it in the near future.

Anyways, his nice thoughts were interrupted, as the older students in the back rows suddenly stood up. They walked down the stairs and left the auditorium. The secretary-like professor accompanied the mass and, as she was the last person leaving, she closed the big double door.

That whole procedure took around 5 minutes, but after that there were only the new students left, making the auditorium look rather empty.

Confused, Hiroki looked over to his friends and waited for an explanation.

"That professor just now told us that, because the older students already know the basics and also where their classrooms are located, will go into their own classrooms now.

She also said that we new students will remain here because they will give us a more detailed introduction.", told Aiko, who was paying attention the whole time.

As soon as the students were gone, Mr. Gladius stepped once again forward and began talking.

‘He really likes to be the center of attention…’

“Now that the older students are gone, I want to welcome you once again! We as the magus Collegium are really glad to see, that there are so many new students this year, one hundred to be exact. I am especially grateful, because, as you all have probably heard, hard times are ahead of us and we need every force we can get.”

He stopped briefly so that his words could have their effect on the audience. Then he continued.

“But do not fear, just because there are hard times ahead, doesn’t mean that you will be used as cannon fodder or just die immediately. We as an academy will try our uttermost to train you and take care of your safety.

Now I’m briefly going to talk about the upcoming year and then you can go into your classrooms.

So as you know, at this academy, we do not give you marks, as the economics academy does. Your stay here should be out of your own interest, because if you are not willing to train and get stronger, then you are going to fail. We are just here to provide you with knowledge, give you pointers and help with your training.

I always like to say that we as a school aren’t here to lecture you into a specific way of thinking, but instead, we are a guidance center that helps you find your right path in life.

Now about the important part. As you can see, behind me there are 5 professors. Each one of them is at the peak of human strength, so no worries, they will be able to guide you well. We are going to create classes of 20 people each. There you will focus at first on basic knowledge and then later the teachers will assemble a unique training plan, based on the talents each one of you possesses.

And as you may know, we also have an intern leaderboard, where the top students from each year are listed. In around half a year, the first 20 people on the scoreboard will form a new class, that will be instructed directly by me. So, you better make a good effort.

Anyways, that was it on my part, now the teachers will call, one after another, their students and then you will go into your classrooms.

Everyone in the room applauded. Even the professors were applauding. They applauded on the one hand because they were afraid of a possible punishment from the headmaster, but on the other hand also because the speech was breathtaking in their eyes.

“Dude, wtf is with that guy… this speech was so dull. It’s just your average bullshit…”, told Yasuo to his friends in a bored tone.

“Isn’t that just your average headmaster babbling? ‘We are not like common schools, we are a guidance center’ blah blah blah”, Aiko mimicked Mr. Gladius, while making weird grimaces.

“Sigh… don’t talk about it anymore. I’m just happy that it’s finally over.”, said Hiroki.

They waited for the professors to call for the students, and when it was their turn, they walked down the stairs and gathered in their groups. Obviously, they were all together in one class, just like the king had arranged it to be. When their class was complete, they followed their teacher into their new classroom.
