Amid the fury, Adler lost all concentration. His eyes only caught the world moving as if in a slow-motion video. The background of the dungeon walls was out of focus in distortion due to the speed of his legs.

In the middle of the first-floor corridor, he encountered a group of adventurers arduously fighting a pair of goblins. Without stopping his movement, he appeared next to the pale and frightened adventurers.

He blinked at their backs, and the two men lost consciousness. He swung his legs around, and blood and the mangled flesh of the goblins splattered on the walls. He removed the cloak from the swordsman adventurer as he stole the hood worn by the mage before tossing the clothes into the inventory.

The life and death of others did not matter to him. There was no time to dwell on trivial matters. The only thing on his mind was the safety of the girl he barely knew.

Why was he so worried about her? They had only known each other for a couple of minutes, but his core was reacting strongly towards her to the point of raging at the glimpse of the previous scene.

Quickly, faster!

He commanded his legs to run faster and soon headed for a well-lit spot. The ashen-colored spiral staircase reaching ten meters high in the center of the room meant he was near the first floor of the Babel tower.

"Camouflage."

A golden light surrounded Adler, and like a deflating balloon, his body shrank enough to be buried in the middle of the white clothing. The pajamas dissolved into blue filaments before being absorbed into the inventory.

The ordinary blackish-colored stone that could easily be mistaken for dungeon debris was left in place. The child's fingernail-sized stone flickered toward the light at the end of the tunnel.

Several adventurers glanced at each other as they felt the strong wind rush past them, only to shrug their shoulders at the end.

Perhaps the delicious wines played a trick on their senses.

Adler plopped down on top of the huge bag containing an adventurer's necessities. While it was true that Adler had lost all concentration, he still retained some of his rationality. Exposing himself to the world would attract trouble that he wanted to avoid for the time being. He was not all-powerful, and even more so considering that the gods were spreading like cockroaches throughout the world.

Soon they emerged on the first floor of the Babel tower.

No one would imagine that the mouth of the very abyss for many adventurers was in this beautiful landscape. The glow is given off by the magic stones in the form of light bulbs reverberating off the thin layer of the floor composed of clean material.

To one side of the majestic hall was the trading post, a place used by adventurers to exchange their loot obtained in the dungeon for valis. In contrast, the opposite was a long table used by employees of the adventurers' guild to advise novices or exchange important information.

Move quickly. Sell everything at once; I'm running out of time!

Adler's head filled with curses as he hurried the adventurer to exchange all his loot. Many strong adventurers might notice his presence if he moved, so it was best to stay hidden among the weapons.

After a few long minutes, the adventurer walked away from the trading post while cursing what little profit he had made. The moment he stepped out of the huge doorway, a gale flew past him, bursting his face and sending him tumbling across the street.

"W-what happened?!" The panicked shout of a group of adventurers boomed as they surrounded the unconscious man.

"Call the guild staff, and you guys look for the culprit!".

Although no one saw the assailant, fights were forbidden within the city unless it was in a "War Game."

Returning to his humanoid appearance, Adler pulled out the stolen adventurer's clothing and the hood to cover his face and his bewitching eyes. He would need it more than anything at this moment.

A holographic screen unfolded in front of his face, displaying the entirety of Orario. His eyes locked onto a specific location, and he marked the map with a dot to guide him.

The destination was the Entertainment District.

In his vision, he could glimpse many Amazoness surrounded by reddish street lamps, and the only place that fit that description was the Red Light District. A place to which the Ishtar Familia belonged.

If he had been told yesterday that he would come into conflict with the Ishtar Familia, he would probably scoff at that person. However, now he could only sigh at his misfortune. Although he hoped that the previous vision was just a stupid illusion, it was unlikely, considering that it was his core that warned him.

His legs were surrounded by crackling lightning. His feet rose into the air, digging a deep crater in the alley's concrete.

The roofs of the houses served as a support for him to propel himself and jump to the next point. In doing so, the distance between him and his target was quickly reduced.

The bustling adventurers walking or dining in the busy streets looked toward the small but distant explosions. Their eyes widened as they caught a glimpse of a vague golden wisp that afflicted the roof of the houses in the middle of the night.

"I think I've had too much to drink today." Rubbing his eyes, an adventurer tapped the wine goblet against the table.

"Does that mean my apple juice contains alcohol?" The other looked suspiciously at the contents of his glass, "I saw it too!".

"What was that light?! Do you think it was an attack?"

"That's impossible; I don't think there's anyone stupid enough to wish for death!"

"Quick. It's heading for the Red Light District!"

"Hey! Where are you headed?!"

"Hahaha, of course! Let's see what it's all about! My animal instincts tell me something exciting is about to happen!"

"It's been so long since anything interesting has happened that my eyes are eager to witness a good show!"

"Wait for me; I'll come too!"

The adventurers soon snapped out of their daze and began to leave the stalls that lined both sides of the streets, attracting the attention of even those inside the inns and taverns.

The excited shouts of the adventurers muffled the shaky footsteps as they made their way towards the Entertainment District.

A reddish glow emanated from a spot in Orario. The colorful light illuminated every corner of the dwellings built in that circular area. In the center of it all, a tall tower stood bathed in the reddish illumination.

Adler kicked hard at the roof of one dwelling. Debris from the roof flew off in a gust of wind, frightening the people who lived there.

After a few minutes, he jumped the last dwelling and passed to the other side of the street. His feet skidded the ground before stopping in front of the entrance to the courtyard of the Ishtar Familia.

The adventurers and flirtatious Amazoness turned their gazes toward the explosion. Their expressions froze as their eyes fell on the dark silhouette. The overwhelming presence and the crackling of lightning amidst the smokescreen only served to strain their hearts.

"Who dares to create commotion in front of the Ishtar Familia?!" The angry shout of an Amazoness brought the adventurers out of their panic, and they began to back away.

It was done. Whoever that guy is, he just dug his own grave. The Ishtar Familia would not allow such an offense to happen in front of their territories!

When the sound of several footsteps approached the intruder, Adler flinched. Both of his eyes began to shrink like a needle.

His vision transcended all that was useless and settled on the bloodied figure of a girl in the midst of some Amazoness leading her towards the mansion's hall.

No... This can't be happening!

"Emilyyyy!"

Adler's bestial roar expelled a gust of wind, clearing the dust cloud. His reasoning and thoughts swirled, creating a chaotic place.

The wrath overflowing his core doubled.
