And let someone monitor them carefully later. If the monsters ate the ones without necklaces, these necklaces are really precious."

Kevin retorted again, "How could this work? They.."

Without waiting for him to talk, Brian pointed him with his forefinger while other fingers were holding the lamp tightly, and scolded, "You fool. No monster attacked them when they had necklaces on them. Isn't it already being clear enough? Otherwise, leave one necklace on a corpse. Isn't it all solved? Ala, seriously, your brain is full of muscle and alcohol. Fortunately, Ava inherited the smartness of her mother. You guys, solve it fast, I am going back to sleep."

Rock laughed when Brian entered the house. Luckily, all monsters went to somewhere. Otherwise, their arguments and laughter would attract them for sure.

Only three people were left at the outside handling the corpses to have a good and clean battlefield in front of their shelter. Other people were hoarding anything useful from nearby neighborhood in a mighty team composed of sixteen armed officers. Even if they couldn't find a trace of monsters anymore, Ronald still proposed to bring weapons. When the four people were busying rearranging the battlefield and creating traps, they had already moved back the things to Julia's house for once. Of course, they used two trucks. After all, it was more convenient and efficient.

It was not an easy job. They spent a lot of time and efforts to expel nearby gray mists with lamps and lighters on the way. Although they were not sure of their effect, they saw plants died after they contacted with the gray mists. So the searching team was equipped with many items which could generate light and their main target items also became things which could easily generate light.

Soon, the three piled up the corpses in two on the street and called for a stop. A special one with necklace on neck was left alone on the clean sidewalk.

Then, they took the lamps and went back into the house.

At a big three-story big mansion, nearly twenty people were still fulfilling their sentry job carefully. They didn't dare to slack off or neglect their duty even if they were so tired and sleepy. After all, it was all about lives and they could even feel the coffee flowing like blood in their body because they drank a lot of coffee.

Just an hour ago, they welcomed eight lads who came with three cars. These lads said that there was no monster on the road for unknown reason and begged to join them to fight for a bigger chance of survival. Of course, they accepted them gladly. After all, they were in need of more survivors.

After hearing and confirming that news, some people wanted to send out several people to search the whole town for survivors. However, the existence of gray mists stopped their risky ideas. They all understood the big threats of these gray mists. Even, they had to say that these lads were very lucky to not encounter the gray mists on the road. Another thing was they were not sure where the monsters actually went.
