Chapter 77: Chapter 76

When the group of people lead by Chester arrived at the backyard of Mansion, the battle at the front was already getting heated. Although low level monsters could not pose any threat to the defending survivors, the presence of two monster mages started to cause a lot of trouble. Even more, they went into hiding after the two guards in front of them were sniped. The fear of death caused them to retreat as the dangerous unknown attack made them to remember about the unlucky mage who was killed last night.

In a balcony, Chester was scolding the two snipers who he left in the mansion. “What happened? Why didn’t you gun down the monster mages?”

The two SWAT members sweated and said, “We were trying to help to lower the pressure of everyone.”, “And we didn’t know their uniqueness. But we tried to snipe them after experiencing the first fireballs. But the distance was too far and they were not that easy to find. And they also got guards around them.”, “That’s right. So, we decided to clean up the monsters attacking the manor first and find them again later.”

Chester rubbed his forehead and said impatiently, “So, you let the dangerous guy go and attack the weak ones which can’t do any damage first? Are you guys fucking serious?”

One lowered his head in silent but another muttered in low voice, “Captain, they can dodge. These fireball only go to the fixed target.”

The guy lowering his head just wanted to express his agreement and he suddenly remembered about the fiery temper of their captain. Just when a bad thought came up, Chester started to spray the two, “You fucking dick heads. You are the snipers. You do your job and they would do their job. Your job is to clean up threatening enemies in distance. That is to cover up your teammates, to secure the lives of your teammates. Now because of your foolish decision, several people died for that. I am not here to listen to your reasons. I want a result. Fuck that monster who can shoot fireballs. You hear me?”

The two poor guys accepted their fault with guilt and nodded their heads without even wiping away the saliva on their faces. Looking at the two familiar guys, Chester got angry again and scolded, “What does your fucking mouths do? Can’t you speak?”

“No, sir. We know we were wrong. We will find and kill that bastard.”

Chester nodded and left after saying, “Contact with Nick and Ronald. Find that kind of strange monsters and kill them before they could do another damage to our allies. Oh, by the way, Ronald is that bulky guy among four people who came to save us during the previous monster siege.”
