The only explanation he could think of was that he was cursed.
People always talked about curses and cursed children, but he never thought it was real or that he would be one of them. It was ridiculous. Those were just stories adults made up to scare children. He wasn't even born with red or pink hair. His hair was a certified sea green. Only people with red or pink colors were cursed.
Unfortunately, none of his protests changed the fact he was currently cursed with no idea on how to fix this.
Well, it wasn't entirely correct as there was his cousin. She was often off traveling with her friends, and one of them had pinkish hair if he remembered correctly. Maybe she would be able to help. The problem was they weren't close and he heard that she no longer spent much time at home anymore.
The family knew she stayed over with her friend which was quite scandalous as she was an unmarried woman despite her protests about being a man living with an unmarried man. It simply wasn't done.
He tore at his hair, but he couldn't waste any more time. He needed to head to school before it got too late.
Grabbing his uniform, he was relieved to find that it still fit him despite the changes. If they had ended up being too big or too small on him, he would have cried.
