I let Noelle walk away until I finally took a deep breath and let my genuine emotions emerge. "What the fuck? Is the Ring gone? But I don't remember losing it. Did I lose it in the middle of a fight and not realize it? But the system is still here."

I started to look around, desperately searching for the ring. But it was nowhere to be seen.

I started walking barefoot, looking everywhere I had passed before. I kept looking for the ring for a few minutes until finally, I noticed it.

"Eh?" The ring was on my finger again, even though it was not there before. I soon realized what had happened. "I didn't realize this before, but the ring disappears whenever someone is around?"

Is that why no one realized its existence until now?

"I hadn't realized that. Maybe I can make it disappear?" Wishing the ring to disappear, it disappeared. I breathed a sigh of relief when I realized I hadn't lost such a precious treasure.

I will never take this ring off my finger.
