Chapter 43: The First and the Last dungeon

Kouro was brought to the police station calmly, after all, getting in an argument with the police is plain stupid even if he could easily defeat them.

Mei, who was a little worried about Kouro, also wanted to come along to accompany him but Kouro refused and just said calmly.

"You don't need to be like that, there's no need to worry, it won't take long."

Seeing Kouro say that confidently, Mei just sighed even though she was still a little worried, she could only say,  "Good luck."

Mei could only watch as the policewoman brought Kouro to the local police station.

In the middle of tip, the policewoman, who had been silent for a while, said something to him enviously.

"You have a good girlfriend." 

Kouro, who was at the side, just smiled slightly. 

He then arrived at the local police station, after half an hour Kouro, who had entered the police station wearing a HOMU costume, came out wearing normal clothes and of course, with a helmet.

As he said to Mei before, it won't take long. After he was arrested, he wasn't detained an was only fined, although the fine was a bit strange, namely they want him to take a  photo with him without wearing the HOMU head part of his costume, after that, Kouro asked for permission to use the back room to change clothes (A/N: He brought a change of clothes in his inventory.)

After exiting the building, Kouro then called Mei and told her that he has left the police station just like he said.

Looking up at the sky, Kouro sight, thinking of what to do next.

But a moment later he remembered something. 

Opening the inventory, he stared at the key he got from the random box.

"I almost forgot I had this."

A key that can create instant dungeons. You can use it anywhere.

"A key that can create instant dungeons. Looks like the system doesn't only target Honkai."

After that, Kouro messaged Kiana telling her that he might come home late at night.

He went to a quite secluded alley, and after making sure that no one was around, inserted the key in the air, the key shone and opened a blue portal.

Staring at the blue portal in front of him Kouro took a deep breath and walked in. 

A moment later the air around him changed.

[You have entered an Instant Dungeon]

Kouro took in a whiff of the fishy smell around him before looking around, the dungeon seemed to have chosen the broken subway station setting, he turned around and touched the portal he used to enter here and felt something blocking his hand.

[You cannot leave the dungeon. To leave the dungeon, you need to kill the boss or use a Heartstone. ]

After reading the system notification, Kouro confirmed his assumptions, the system would ensure that no one other than him could enter the dungeon.

He then turned his head and stared in front of him, "Looks like I have a guest."

He quickly took out [Alloy Gluttony] from his inventory and a howl of a wolf was heard up ahead, a wolf dashed towards his location with it's jaws open ready to pounce on him.

Kouro, who had been preparing for this attack, immediately swung his katana at the wolf's jaw. 

*Swish (A/N: Swing sound) 

The sharp edge of his katana's blade cleanly cut the wolf's body in half.

Kouro looked at the corpse of the wolf, and said with a bit of surprise, "It didn't disappear."

*Grrr

He turned his head around and saw hundreds of wolves staring at him, he could finally see their real name above their heads

[Ripper Jackal] 

Seeing hundreds of Ripper Jackals flocking to him, Kouro said confidently, "Now this is fun." 

He then dashed towards the hundreds of Ripper jackals that were approaching, and slashed the heads of the jackals one by one, his slashing speed was so fast it was enough to cut off 3 heads in one second. 

The blood from the Ripper Jackal's corpses splattered all over his body and he didn't notice that his eyes were already glowing bright purple.

The Ripper Jackals that Kouro stared at with those eyes felt a little intimidated.

9 hours later.

You can see Kouro sitting on a pile of Ripper Jackal corpses. 

Kouro's surroundings were full of corpses and Jackal's blood, even his body had been dyed red by the Jackal's splashed blood, it's just that his purple eyes glowed coldly as if everything around him didn't exist. 

He opened his system interface.

Seeing his skill level rising rapidly made Kouro doubt his efforts, he practiced his skills every day for seven hours and even did it for two months straight, yet it only went up by one level.

Suddenly there was a loud sound of footsteps coming towards him, Kouro raised his head, he saw a Gorilla monster measuring 10 meters in front of him.

*ROARRR!

 The Kingkong roared loudly and hit his chest. Kouro who was staring at the king only said one sentence, "You are weak." 

*Swish

 The Kingkong's movement suddenly stopped, after a few moments, it was cut in half.

[You have leveled up]

Just as he was about to leave, he saw 1 point of light shining around the Kingkong's corpse. Staring at the point of light for a while Kouro thought of something and with shining eyes he started to pick up the point of light. 

[You have discovered an item 'Kong's Iron Gauntlet']

[Receive?] 

"Receive."

As soon as he said those words, a glove made of silver Kuliy Kong appeared in his hand.

[Tyrant Kong's Iron Gauntlet]

Increases striking power by 100% for 2 seconds.

Kouro nodded. As a two star dungeon, getting valuable loot items was good enough. 

Just then, a new message appeared.

[With the death of the boss, the dungeon interior will return to its original state]

Suddenly, his vision blurred a little, and then returned to normal, along with it, a slight dizziness assailed his senses. 

When he looked around, he found himself still in a lonely secluded alley, with a girl staring at him with a frightened look.

…

Wait, a girl?

Kouro promptly looked at the girl's direction, his glowing purple eyes coupled with his body covered in blood made the girl frightened and faint.

"KYAA GHOST!!"

Seeing the girl faint while staring at him made Kouro speechless.

He then looked at himself, Kouro finally understood why the girl screamed.

Using the "recovery status" to cleanse the body was a bit wasteful but it was okay, in an instant all the stains, blood, and fatigue disappeared in an instant, as if he was turning back time. Seeing that the clothes he was wearing too, had been torn and damaged, he then changed his clothes again, luckily he brought extra just in case.

Kouro knew the "recovery status" could clean the stains was because he realized that every time he used it, all the dust, and sweat that had stuck to his body disappeared.

Looking around again, he took a blanket from his inventory and put it on the girl's body before running towards his dorm, Kouro was sneakily able to return to his room safely without being caught by Kiana, he quickly took a shower and went straight to sleep.

The next day the girl then told the terrible incident that had happened in that remote alley, finally an urban story about a red ghost appeared, and the remote alley where Kouro met the girl become a haunted place.
