Chapter 93: Fu Hua memories (3)

Fu Hua was left with no choice but to follow Nuwa's words. She went to the other side of the cave to help Nuwa dig for clay. 

In the middle of her work, Otto suddenly talked to her.

Hearing Otto's words, Fu Hua only smiled slightly before saying in a nostalgic tone.

Haa… I miss those times."

Fu Hua showed a surprised expression upon hearing that, "What!? You never told me about this!"

["Well, you're the one who don't want to dwell in the past."]

Fu Hua's expression turned cold and was silent for a moment before saying, "Alright, I get it.."

She went back to gathering some clay and some minerals that Nuwa needed before going to see her again, but when she got closer, she saw Nuwa's expression that looked frightened by something.

Nuwa who saw Fu Hua quickly approached her and said in a panicked voice, "Jingwei, come help me!!"

"What's the matter Nuwa? You look scared."

Nuwa pointed towards the front where there was a passage leading to the depths of the cave.

"I peered inside the cave and saw strange people inside."

Fu Hua's expression turned serious, "Is that an enemy? Hide somewhere safe. I'll get rid of it."

Following that, Fu Hua entered the cave passage and after half a minute, she found a large room with "someone" standing along, that person has a lot of Honkai Energy concentration.

Fu Hua looked at the person before muttering, "Zombies… but they look a little different."

If Kouro could see this Zombie right now, he would instantly recognize it. It is a part of the Wraith-types called Deathly Doom, although this one is strengthened.

Fu Hua unhesitantly jumped towards the Zombie and performed a Phoenix Kick straight to it. But just as it was about to hit, a translucent barrier suddenly emerged from it and absorbed the kinetic energy of her kick. Although the impact still remained which knocked the Zombie backwards, albeit it suffered no injuries.

Deathly Doom then summoned a green pillar of sharp wind and several Scythe-wielding Zombies to attack Fu Hua.

Seeing the summoned Zombies, Fu Hua immediately initiated an attack and parried the incoming ones away with her gauntlets as her fists gets enveloped by blazing flames. 

Even though the wind pillar that the Deathly Doom created spun at a speed that could easily tear human flesh, she didn't pay that any attention because the wind from the pillar would only increase the efficiency of her flames.

*Swosh!*

Fu Hua's flames easily spread, turning the Zombies into dust in an instant, after which she locked her eyes at the Deathly Doom.

Sensing the impending danger, the Deathly Doom raised both of its hands which resulted in the ground shaking violently, causing the rocks on the ceiling to fall.

Some of the rocks fell down next to the door, blocking Fu Hua's exit. The Deathly Doom then created several red pillars that each spew out fire and several more Zombies. 

Seeing this, Fu Hua adapted a stance while keeping her eyes on the Deathly Doom, she prepared to use her [Ultimate Move].

'This cave is about to collapse! I have to beat her fast to get out of here!'

Fu Hua's body was enveloped by blazing blazing flames before the fire transformed into a mythical creature 'Phoenix', the Phoenix seemed to come alive, it flapped its wings which burned all zombies to ashes except for Deadly Doom which had issued an energy-absorbing barrier. .

The phoenix then let out a loud screech before flying toward Deadly Doom.

*BOOM!*

The shield that enveloped Deadly Doom's body cracked and shattered before turning to ashes along with the room which melted because it couldn't stand the heat generated by the Phoenix.

The phoenix then faded before turning back into Fu Hua, her clothes didn't look burnt at all, she looked at the room for a while before running out.

In the room full of fire until it melted, a purple eyed man was standing in the middle of the room, suddenly the shadow at the man's feet grew and filled the entire room before shrinking back to normal, the hot fire could melt metal has disappeared when it came into contact with the man's shadow.

The man suddenly looked down, he saw a figurine shaped like a Jingwei, he picked up the statue which was slightly damaged by the fire and stared at it for a moment before lifting his head and staring at the direction where Fu Hua had gone before disappearing into the darkness. 

The room became silent and dark as if everything that had happened before had never happened, leaving only a few things melted, as if they were silent witnesses.

Fu Hua who ran outside then met Nuwa.

"Jingwei what happened! Why is this cave collapsing?"

"I'll tell you later! Run for it!"

Hearing that, Nuwa then without asking again immediately ran out like a bitch, Fu Hua was always near Nuwa to protect her from several Honkai Beasts who also ran out to save themselves.

Half a minute later while she was focusing on protecting Nuwa, she suddenly found Nuwa's figurine near her feet, and even more strangely the statue was in a new state as if it had just been made, Fu Hua didn't think much of it, she immediately took the Figurine and save it while defeating several oncoming Honkai Beasts.

Three minutes later they both managed to get out safely from the cave.

Feeling safe, Fu Hua then looked at Nuwa with a worried expression, "Nuwa, are you alright?"

Nuwa sighed and nodded her head as she wiped her forehead off of sweat, "Phew. I guess I could run pretty fast. The entire place caved in. But all my modelling clay…

"You're alive. that's all that matters. We can always get more modelling clay."

Nuwa nodded her head slowly, as if remembering something she quickly checked all her pockets, but they were all empty, seeing this Fu Hua then asked. "What's wrong, Nuwa-san?"

"The figurine I made isn't here!"

After saying that, she turned to Fu Hua and talked hysterically, "Did you lose it when we were running away? Oh no! I really like that figurine!"

Fu Hua then took the figurine out of her pocket to comfort Nuwa, "Don't worry Nuwa. I have it here. I picked it up when we were escaping just now!"

"Kyaa! Thank you so much! That's awesome…"

Looking at Nuwa who took the figurine and treated it with care, Fu hua became curious and asked, "Why do you like this figurine so much?"

"Yeah… Because this is a figurine of Jingwei." Nuwa answered simply.

"What?" Fu hua didn't expect Nuwa's answer.

Nuwa then added, "Jingwei, you're dependable and suave. You can be cold and mean, but you actually treat me nicer than my sis. You're such a nice person. I really want to tell everyone about you and make them like you!"

"Nuwa …" Fu Hua's heart was touched by Nuwa's words.

"Yeah, but I'll need to work on that stiff face of yours. I gotta add a smile here… make it… seductive… Oh yes!"

Nuwa proceeded to adjust the size of the figurine's booba and made it as big as an F cup.

Looking at the figurine, Nuwa nodded proudly at her masterpiece.

"Oi." Fu Hua looked at Nuwa with an flat expression, her gratitude had disappeared after staring at the figurine especially at the booba.
