chapter -8
After taking a long warm bath Noah walked out of the washroom and wore the attire provided by mia, now that he was feeling reenergized he strode out of his room and proceeded toward the main hall.
The manor was relatively big and could be called a maze too but as his bedroom wasn't in any weird location that he had to turn here from there like a monkey.
After a minute of walking Noah reached the main hall and saw Olive sitting on a comfy sofa while sipping something from a cup, on the other side Olive who had sensed his brother's arrival put down the cup and smiled at him.
"Did you like the room they prepared for you?" She asked expectantly.
"Yes, but it would be great if it wasn't filled with those toys and stuff." Noah replied, even though he didn't want to sound rude on his first day here but still expressing his opinion here was a must, or else she'll be too much to handle afterward.
"Oh, okay if you don't want that, we can clear that out for you." Olive said, visibly startled by Noah's reply as she wanted to do her best and provide him with every best possible thing an eleven-year boy could have.
'Was it really too much?'
Noah could see her tangled expressions but decided to let her be for now and sat down near her as he was getting hungry for some magical knowledge.
"Big sister, what was that magic which you did that we arrived from the orphanage to here in just two minutes?" Noah asked as Olive was still in a daze.
"Oh that, that was an apparition, it allows a user to instantly travel from one point to another." She replied and continued," but we won't talk about that today and start with the basics as you'll have a gist of everything and won't have to show everyone your cute little shocked expression."

Ignoring Noah's baffled expression Olive started giving Noah some information about the mediaeval era where witches and wizards were seen as possessed people and if they were to be caught people would try to burn them alive.
Then the creation of a magical community which was formed so they could easily communicate with each other and avoid being roped with a frail wooden stick which would leave a permanent mark afterwards.
And yet that wasn't the end as she continued about a signed documentation which was called an international statute of secrecy and thereafter the current world where the wizarding world was hidden from the muggle's eyes.

Meanwhile, Noah had a complex expression on his face as he processed every last bit of information. He had thought that she would only talk about the current world's viewpoint but now it seems that she is a true historian.
'It's fine though the more the merrier.' Noah thought, as the knowledge was key to every door.
Olive carefully glanced at Noah to see how he was doing and smiled as she saw Noah's eager expression which was hungry for more so she continued and explained about wizengamot and sacred Twenty-eight.
That lasted for another hour and Noah's brain was going overloaded with all of that stuff.
"So does this sacred Twenty-eight hold any power over ministry or not?" Noah asked as he got curious.
Olive smiled as her brother showed some sign of interest and replied, " Mostly no, as the Minister of magic holds most of the power and after that wizengamot but there are backhand ways too."
"Means money." Noah uttered.
"You're half right, as every living being has a corrupt heart, you just need to know what their heart most desires, and as many of the sacred Twenty-eight are loaded with money and ancient treasure they hold a little power to bend the decision of ministry toward their benefits." She explained everything in one breath.
"Can we also do that?" Noah asked as throwing some cheesy Questions was a must.
"Haha, of course, we can do little Noah, as we also have loads of galleons and your big sister here is one of the governors of Hogwarts." She said while looking proud as a peacock.
'Just like that silver-haired idiot.' Noah thought with a smirk and asked, "Hogwarts?"
"Oh right, you don't know about Hogwarts, I'm forgetting things amid excitement." She muttered.
"Hogwarts is a School where you'll learn magic." Olive replied and explained some leftover details.
'Finally, everything is over.' Noah breathed a sigh of relief as Olive finally stopped with her massive amount of knowledge which was giving him mental pain now.
