Chapter 50: Take Care Of My Shameless Granddaughter.....

They all packed themselves in the car. With Xiao Ai and Bojing sitting in the back seat, with Bolin and Sweet Guy. Little guy was the assigned driver for that night.

"Sweet Guy, why are you looking here and there?" Bolin questioned after he noticed that Sweet Guy didn't respond to any of his words.

Sweet Guy shrank further to the door avoiding the gaze of Xiao Ai.

Would Boss kill him after today?

He hadn't spilled anything has he?

Screech!!

Little guy stopped the car at the Mo mansion, forcing everyone from their different thoughts.

Old Butler Jang came forward, packing the gifts they had brought while telling the other servants to inform the Elder Madam that Mo Ai had arrived.

Although Xiao Ai only told Bojing about meeting her family in the afternoon, he was still quick enough to arrange gifts for them.

"Little Ai is that you? Oh! My little dear..you've grown so thin." Grandmother lamented checking Xiao Ai frequently.

Xiao Ai held her hands and smiled at her in a loving manner. "Grandmother, girls these days need to watch their weight. I don't eat much normally. " she lied.

Bolin coughed from behind.

Don't eat much his foot! Who was the one that would always finish three bowls of rice?

Few seconds later, grandfather and Chairwoman Mo came out to receive them but Hannah was nowhere in sight.

Grandfather Mo accessed Gu Bojing with his eyes. Gu Bojing looked more like a gentle man in his back suit with a white shirt. He looked laid down, like the nice guy next door. He bowed in greeting to Elder Mo, who nodded his head in agreement. He had thought Xiao Ai was lying about being married to Emperor Gu. But seeing that she had brought the man home, he felt satisfied.

His little Brat finally found someone good after playing around for so long.

Gu Bojing and Bolin was all talk and smile with the in laws as they walked in, while Xiao Ai intentionally walked slower so she could talk to Sweet Guy and Little Guy.

Hannah was home and she knew this Sweet guy and Little guy. Xiao Ai was still trying to paint a good image of herself to Hannah but these guys..especially Sweet guy..

"Boss...your husband called us. He said to accompany you all tonight." Little guy explained.

Xiao Ai gave him a light knock on the head. "Since when did you listen to other people? And you Sweet guy..you had better watch.."

"Little Ai..is everything fine?" her mother walked back out. "Your husband is doing all the talking. why are you still not responsible? You all should come in." she urged.

Xiao Ai nodded frantically and rushed in acting like she wasn't delaying the duo from going in. Once in, she saw Gu Bojing already playing chess with Elder Mo while foolish Bolin was chatting away with Grandmother. Probably on some gossip.

"Little Jing, take care of Little Ai. The Brat may seem impenetrable but she's easiest to break. She's shameless and does all sorts of unlady like things but she's very kind at heart. Little Ai likes to keep things to herself. She may appear ok but she only wants to be coaxed. In short the little Brat is still a kid. Boy, take care of my shameless granddaughter, do you get?" he spoke naturally drawing his own move on the big chess board.

Xiao Ai was surprised. Was this a normal way to compliment her? She stole a glance at Gu Bojing, but he just had his head down, hands hesitating on a chess piece.

Xiao Ai couldn't see his expression well but she felt his sadness. Her eyes brimmed with unshed tears as she was unable to control her feelings. She didn't know why she felt like there was ages between them.

They were married. They were intimate but she felt like she didn't know him. She wanted to get closer to him, but she felt it was not her place. It was as though she was making him unhappy. For those few seconds that she stared at his side view, she felt a rush of emotions. He was sad. She could feel it and it made her sad too.

But why?

Gu Bojings hands paused on the chess piece when he heard the old man speak. His eyes carried a deep gaze and he suppressed his feelings of sadness before answering.

"Yes grandfather I understand." His affirmative tone made Elder Mo relax as he nodded his head and his facial features eased.

He felt at ease with this young fella. He had a good feeling about him.

Xiao Ai could hear Sweet Guy muttering some nonsense to her, Bolins chattering voice too traveled past her ears. All she could focus on was Bojing.

Her husband.
