The one she had married under the influence of alcohol. Weirdly, they got along quiet well. She watched as Gu Bojing moved his chest piece and waited for Elder Mo to make his move. He still had his head down as if checking what his next move should be. Her mother was probably helping in the kitchen and Hannah would still be up trying to sort herself.
Drop after drop her tears started to fall. She felt indescribable sad. Watching him hang his head downwards, made her feel guilty in a way. Xiao Ai had always been able to control her emotions after her grand aunt retired and she became the leader of her gang. But right now she could stop her tears from falling.
They were human. Emotions should be under their control, but there were times when they weren't quick enough to react and still let the emotions get the better of them.
Gu Bojing lifted his misty eyes and landed them on Xiao Ai. His brows furrowed when he saw her tears dropping.
In the past and even right now, he had only seen her cry three times. She was not one to reveal such emotions to people. She was proud and arrogant, and always felt the need to be in control in everything.
"Hubby..." Xiao Ais faint voice came through as she rushed forward to hug him tightly.
Elder Mo hadn't been aware of what was happening but when he saw Xiao Ai rush forward and hug Bojing he paused his movements. Her sobs could be heard as she buried her face in his chest. It was as though she was releasing a thousand years sadness.
Before her reborn, there was no Gu Bojing in her life. If she hadn't walked up to him in the club that day and proposed marriage to him, she probably would never know him unless she crossed his path with her swindling act.
Was she reborn because she had not yet met Gu Bojing? Was she to fulfill her fate with him and so she was reborn? Because her fate was with him and had not yet started?
Chairwoman Mo came out of the kitchen when she heard the lively room go silent. Even in the kitchen she could hear the gossipy sounds of her mother and Bolin and the chattering of the two guys Little Ai had brought. When she got to the living room, her gaze turned to what everyone was looking at and she saw a scene that made her heart ache.
Xiao Ai was bawling her eyes out in Gu Bojings chest.
Had she failed as a mother?
She knew Xiao Ai loved to act tough but it was all a facade for her broken self. Back then if she hadn't left their father....if she had insisted on staying...if she had fought for herself. If she had fought for Xiao Ai... back then if she hadn't supported her in going to Russia....
If she hadn't..if she hadn't...she could only regret it now.
Hannah stood upstairs, her figure hidden by one of the pillars supporting the stairs. As she watched Xiao Ai cry she felt her heart tear gradually. She had pushed her away back then.
Xiao Ai was just like their mother. She was arrogant and prideful. Perhaps everyone in the Mo Family was like that. Even Xiao Ais twin brother was like that too. If that incident hadn't happened.. if Xiao Ai had listened...if Xiao Ai hadn't moved with these sort of people. If only Xiao Ai had let go of her pride...

Things wouldn't be like this.
Although she hated her younger sister at the moment, she couldn't deny that a part of her wanted to console her.
How hurt and broken was she back then that her brain automatically forgot everything?
Hannah was about to leave when she paused her steps..
Did Xiao Ai really forget or was she pretending to not remember to ease herself off the guilt?
She couldn't be too sure. Xiao Ai was capable of anything.
Thinking about the incident back then, she couldn't help but shake her head.
If Mo Dongai wasn't too supportive of Xiao Ai would things have not turn out this way?
Even so she couldn't blame him, the bond between twins was not easy to understand.
Perhaps Xiao Ai had really forgotten.
After several minutes of bawling her eyes out she finally raised her head to look at Gu Bojing. At that moment she felt that he was too familiar. Awfully familiar.
"What's wrong? Did I do something wrong?' he asked his voice a bit raspy as if he was the one who had cried.
Xiao Ai shook her head as she felt a season two tears threatening to come. "You just feel..so... so sad...I..i..on your behalf....am releasing the sadness." she finished sniffing her nose and rubbing her makeup stained face.
Gu Bojings chest warmed up and he gave Xiao Ai a sad smile.
Could she feel his sadness just like he could feel hers? This little woman...why had he chosen to fall in love with her?
