In order to test out the [Origin Magic] that I created through integrating various attribute magics, I tried out various things.
I thought about searching for a human habitat by flying in the air with flight magic right now, but I can’t fly too high and I move rather slowly.
“Hmm. If I had originally learned something of a higher level, I’d have magic that’d allow me to fly as freely as I want though……”
Currently, if I want to move quickly, walking is my only option.
“Well then, let’s go out in the direction of the forest.”
It’s a waste, but the plan is to tear down the temporary base for the time being.
There’s no water or living beings nearby that could be made into food.
If I don’t make a convenience store bento or juice with [Creation Magic], I’ll end up dead quickly.
The camping tools that I’ve created have been put into a bag—-specifically, a magic bag—-that I’ve had ever since I reincarnated, and I proceeded towards the forest I spotted when flying… or rather floating.
“Wheeze wheeze…… I’m tired.”
Although my level has gone up, it’s slightly tiring to walk in a 12 year old girl’s body.
Even so, I finally arrived at the forest while defeating monsters I noticed along the way, before camping there that evening, and entering the forest at least the next morning.
“Sigh, I hope I don’t meet any strong monsters.”
I entered the forest while murmuring such a thing, and I immediately encountered one—-a goblin.
Green skin, thin limbs and a large head. Also, the rising up reaction that occurred under its grass skirt the moment it saw me, a female.
Honestly, I only felt disgust.
In order to not cause a forest fire, I immediately fired a Stone Bullet from my [Pebble Staff] that I prepared and Wind Cutter with my [Origin Magic].
“Oee……”
To be honest, I don’t feel good seeing the disastrous scene that I caused.
“Well, if I leave it alone, wild animals will come eat it, won’t they…… they’ll come eat it, right?”
Animals that would come eat a goblin that gives off such a stench…… only slimes come to mind.
“Nevertheless, if the slimes come cleaning, then that’ll be good,” I thought while I retraced my steps back to the forest’s entrance once more.
“That was dangerous. I’d better be a bit more careful.”
I put a barrier using [Origin Magic] on the surface of my body, but my skill level is still low, so it’s thin and weak.
While doing so, I was reflecting on the fact that the distance when encountering the goblin was a bit too close.
“I’m a rear guard witch. Normally in games, there’s close to no rear guards that act on their own.”
It’s because there’s a vanguard that a sense of security increases.
If, by chance, a mage acts independently, they’d have to always launch a preemptive attack, launch their strongest magic spell and continue exterminating enemies.
However, no matter how fast they are, it’s possible that they’d receive a surprise attack and ruin their tempo.
In my case, since I’m weak, the moment my tempo is ruined, the danger of me dying is high.
“For the time being, an excellent vanguard is required, isn’t it?”
For that reason, I decided to create a golem that I can entrust the vanguard to with the mana that I currently possess.
“According to the knowledge I gained from [Origin Magic], a golem’s performance is influenced by its core, raw materials, and the mana invested.”
For example, if the magic gem making up the core is weak, the golem’s intelligence and abilities will be low.
The golem’s body consists of raw materials, so if you use the earth as raw materials, it’d be an Earth Golem. If you use stones, it’d be a Stone Golem, if you use iron, it’d be an Iron Golem and so on.
Finally, magic is the energy that determines how long a golem moves.
The larger the core of the magic gem, the more magic is required when the golem moves, though the output and uptime rises as well.
“For the time being—-<<Creation>>. The strongest golem core I can create with my current mana!”
I created a pretty blue magic gem in the middle of my hand and at the same time started to feel bad due to magic exhaustion though the coolness of the magic gem felt nice.
Satisfied, I burned incense to repel monsters, and fell asleep.
The next day, I filled the magic gem that’ll become the golem core with mana.
“—-<<Charge>>. I used about half of my mana for the core, so it takes around 1500.”
After I charged it until full, I thought about raw materials that could form the body, but earth is probably the best.
I can’t prepare a new core, but I can rebuild the body.
For the time being, let’s create a cheap golem body.
“Well then, earth…… it’s raining!”
Holding the golem core, I took refuge inside my tent, and waited for the rain to stop.
It continued to rain for around half the day leaving me with free time. So I created convenience store sweets from my last life with my leftover mana inside the tent.
For the time being, one 100 mana cheap-looking chocolate confectionery is an unbelievable captivating tasty flavor for this world.
Then, after the rain stopped, I restarted my golem making, but there one one problem that occurred.
“Ahh, the ground is muddy.”
The ground that was originally the plains had become all clay-like. It’s become a sticky clay.
“Hmm. Unexpectedly this isn’t as bad as I thought?”
It might be better to form it in its clay state than just plain earth.
Also, rather than a lump of earth hitting, it might be better to meld or press with the clay containing moisture. The impact absorption capacity might be good.
“Alright, let’s create it. —-<<Golem Maker>>!”
Plenty of mana passed through the ground, then I embed the golem core into the clay-like body, and activated the golem.
“Oh, ooh…… ohhh?”
The golem that slowly rose and stood up was made of slimy earth, but unexpectedly, the upper half of its body maintained its human shape, but the lower half was how should I put it… like a lump of clay crawling.
Also, its appearance was similar to the 12 year old me.
I thought golems would have more of a massive bulky image, but it looks sort of weak.
