Chapter 34: Storm Descending

Fang Chen has joined Tian Cai Ansley his sister's camp. He has decided to wait with them for the Spiritual Energy storm to start. 

While waiting for the storm Fang Chen questioned Tian Cai about the Spiritual energy Storm. Even though the system has informed him he wanted to know about it from Tian Cai's perspective. 

"Tian Cai, can you explain about the Spiritual energy Storm?"

"Sure Owner Fang, let me start from the beginning. No body knows the time when it started. 

But the first people to discover the Storm were the kings royal guards. Later they found out that it can be used to breakthrough during major cultivation breakthrough. 

Later they found out that the Storm starts from the forbidden region of the forest and it reached to the outer part of the Dangerous region. 

As they go deeper the Spiritual energy gets more Chaotic so that's why only outer part of Dangerous region can be used during the breakthrough.

If Someone tries to cultivate deeper in forest during the storm they will be crippled. Many have tried to go deeper but they all died or become crippled.

No one knows the time line about when the storm will start. They are able to tell by the increase in the amount of Spiritual energy in the forest.

But slowly the time between the storms are decreasing. It has started to happen earlier than it should be. 

The storm that is going happen today is an exception. Few days ago some of the Nobel Clans members informed the king that the Spiritual energy in the forest has increased.

So we understood that the Spiritual energy Storm is going to happen so everyone rushed here who were at Peak Martial Disciple.

There is still five hours for the storm to start so everyone has started preparing. As you have seen many people are here with guards because when the storm is over the fights breaks between humans and beasts.

So for the protection they have brought the guards. We can also start preparation for the Spiritual Energy Storm."

He also understood why Martial Master or higher realm cultivator doesn't use Spiritual energy Storm to cultivate.

Because the energy that reaches outer part of the Dangerous region is not sufficient for them to breakthrough but it is ore than enough for Martial Disciple Realm cultivator. 

So that's why they send there younger clan members to the Spiritual energy Storm. But one question came to his mind so he directly asked Tian Cai.

"Why I can't see Yan Jiao and other members of your generation. The cultivator that have gathered here are of your sister age."

Fang Chen asked this because aside from Tian Cai and his sister he didn't see any other high level Nobel clans. 

All young cultivator gathered were from low level Nobel clans. But hearing Fang Chen's question Tian Cai got embarrassed and explained. 

"Owner Fang because of injury I couldn't cultivate otherwise I would have already reached the Martial Master Realm.

So the cultivators from.same generation as me has already reached Martial Master Realm only I am remaining behind but after the Spiritual energy Storm I will be there equal."

Fang Chen nodded, he has not taken Tian Cai's injuries in account. He also understood that because of his Spirit Protection Pill many low level Nobel clans were able to send their young clan members.

Fang Chen and Tian Cai discussed about the spiritual energy storm and after a while a servant came to inform Tian Cai that it was time for him to start preparing for breakthrough. 

Fang Chen didn't wanted to disturb them so he sent both of them and told them that he will look around till the storm starts. 

Fang Chen left Tian Cai's tent and started to check out others. Everyone was in similar situation as Tian Cai 

Everyone has started to go I'm there tents while guards are standing outside to guard them. Then he looked in beasts direction and they also started to prepare themselves. 

Some of the younger beast had Grade one Spirit Beast as there guardians. They were continually growling and the young beast were following the instructions. 

Fang Chen has already asked Tian Cai about the reason for getting ready before four hours. He found out that till the storm starts the Spiritual energy is slowly increasing.

So that's why they start preparing hours early so that when the storm start they can immediately get accustomed to it and make an successful breakthrough. 

Fang Chen has not expected that there would be such thing. After checking out everything he went back to Tian Cai's camp.

Tian Cai had created a separate tent for him so he doesn't has to worry. He went to the tent and relaxed. 

He didn't had anything to do for four hours, he thought of attacking a Spirit Beast but the beast were gathered in huge amount so it would be bad decision. 

So to pass the time he decided to check the map since he has gathered four part of the Map. He also had several doubts about it so he decided to ask the system till the Spiritual energy Storm. 

He took out the map from the inventory and started to check of he could see any areas which he can recognize in the map.

But to his disappointment, he couldn't see anything. All part of the Map can be connected to every part.

So Fang Chen couldn't tell if the part are correctly joined or not. He could only see a blank surface. 

Like before when he got only two parts of the Map they would attract towards each other and when he try to separate them the would be separated easily.

He immediately understood that he has to gather all parts of the Map to clearly see what os on the map.

He kept the map in the inventory and questioned the system.

"System how did you know that a part of the Map should be in the forest."

"Host, the maps I am giving you are not property of the system. If you look carefully them you can also find them without the help of the system. 

As for the fourth part of the Map, you should remember that in the restaurant some people were discussing that someone had robbed the king many years ago and had hidden himself in the forest. 

But due to kings influence no one talked about it. The person who was discussing was an old guard of the royal palace and he informed that there was a piece of map that was stolen. 

Since the king doesn't knew importance of the Map he had not chased the person. So I was able to guess that it should be in the forest.

If not then I would have given it myself. Host you don't need to think about it. When the time comes you will understand everything."

Even though Fang Chen had expected that that system would not explain carefully. But he was to hear that the system was paying attention to gossips in the restaurant.

He also understands that the system would tell him everything when the time is right. After that he asked few questions about the map.

In response the system told him to collect all parts of the Map. He had already expected this. He didn't had any questions so he decided to rest.

He still had to stay in the forest for twelve more hours so he was not worried about hunting the Grade one Spirit Beast. 

Time slowly passed and without realising he went to sleep because the fatigue from continously moving around has caught upto him. 

He was woken up by the noise of the servants because four hour has passed and the Spiritual energy Storm is about to descend.

He immediately left the tent to see how the Spiritual energy Storm looked. As he came out he saw that every guards have become alert. 

He then checked around and was shocked to see the huge amount of Spiritual energy gathering around them at an astonishing speed. 

It was ten times the density of the herbs he had gathered. He had not expected the Storm would start in such Manner. As he was checking, one of the guards shouted.

"The storm has descended, get ready."

One by one every guards shouted and informed there young masters and mistresses.
