Chapter 35: Completing Missions

The Spiritual Energy Storm has descended on the camp. Fang Chen is shocked after seeing the density of the Spiritual energy. 

He looked around and saw that everyone has started to cultivate and the guards have become alert.

No one is wasting any time and every one was focusing because the Storm is only going to descend for Six hours only. So Fang Chen would have to stay for eight hours in the forest. To complete all of his missions.

So he will have at least three hours to hunt a Grade one Spirit Beast so that he can complete the fourth mission. 

Fang Chen thought of a plan. He moved around the camp and saw that everyone was busy cultivating. 

He then looked at the beasts camp and saw that they were also busy cultivating. He moved towards the beasts camp and stopped in between both camps. 

Seeing what Fang Chen was doing both sides were shocked. The Grade one Spirit beasts let out a low growl because they thought that he was coming to there side.

The human camp was shocked because they thought they he was crazy to go towards the beasts camp.

But they all got confused when he stopped in the middle of both camp. They couldn't understand what he was doing. After a while, they didn't focus on him and went back to do their work. 

Fang Chen's plan was to stand in the middle of both sides and wait. Because from the stories he has heard every time the fight broke between humans and beasts the beasts were first to attack. 

So he knew if multiple beasts broke through and become Grade one Spirit Beast some of them try and attack the humans.

But they will not attack the camp since there are many Martial Master Cultivators. So he decided to stay in the middle because he knew that even though they will not attack the camp but they will attack him as he is alone.

So he hoped a Grade one beast would attack him. So he would fight the beast without offending other beasts. 

He just hoped that the beast which would attack him should have come alone. Otherwise, Fang Chen would be in trouble. 

But still he didn't deeply think about it because he believed that those from noble clan will interfere because they would like come in good term with Fang Chen. 

Now Fang Chen is waiting to see which side will breakthrough first. An hour passed and only five hours were remaining till the storm dissappear.

After one hour Fang Chen used he his perception to see if any was ready to breakthrough. He was shocked to find that only few were ready and it was also same for the beast side. 

He focused and found that they were gathering huge amount of Spiritual energy. So he immediately under there intentions that they will use the force of the Spiritual energy to breakthrough. 

After half hour finally there was person who broke through and became Martial Master Cultivator. Simultaneously in the beasts camp a beast broke. 

Fang Chen immediately focused because he thought that the beast would come to attack but after breakthrough the beast left quietly. 

But after the first breakthrough on both sides the breakthroughs doesn't stop every few minutes someone was reaching Martial Master Realm and beasts were become Spirit Beast. 

But no one has attacked on each other. After breakthrough they didn't stop and immediately rushed back.

Half time has passed and twenty percent of people and beasts on both side have made successful breakthrough and then they left quickly. 

Fang Chen didn't had any problem with it he still had five hours to hunt the beast. So he looked in Tian Cai's direction and was able to feel that he was still gathering Spiritual energy.

Fang Chen understood that he had already gathered enough Spiritual energy to breakthrough but he was still continuing because he wanted to stabilize his foundation. 

He was injured for some time and so he couldn't cultivate. So it has caused his foundation to shaken. So to stabilize his foundation he is continously gathering Spiritual energy. 

After that Fang Chen focused on Tian Cai's sister Tian Yue. Because last time he met her he had seen her cultivation at Higher Martial Disciple Realm. 

But know she has broken through peak Martial Disciple Realm and she is still gathering the Spiritual energy. 

He had not expected that even though her her Martial Spirit was of Lower grade than her brother her cultivation speed was astonishing. 

He thought to find more about her because she was very intriguing. He then focuses on others, some have reached the final process breakthrough and some still gather the Spiritual energy. 

He understood that today there is not going to be a fight because even though the Spiritual Energy Storm is happening. It will continue for a very small time.

He thought for a while and then moved towards Tian Cai's camp and informed his servant that He is leaving the forest. They can meet him at the shop.

He also said thank you for the tent they gave him to rest. He told the servant to inform Tian Cai and after that, he left the area where Spiritual energy Storm was happening. 

His new plan was to directly target the beast. He was not going to waste any time waiting for them to start the attack. So he left the camp and hid in the trees. He was hiding in the direction of the beast camp so that he could see which beasts were returning.

The reason he left the camp was he didn't want to start the fight between humans and beasts. So he left the can so that he can specifically target the beast without attracting other beasts. 

He waited for an hour but no beast came in his direction. The Beasts which came in his direction were in pairs. He would already have trouble dealing with one Grade one Spirit Beast. 

After half hour he finally saw a beast coming toward his way. He couldn't use Divine eyes so he couldn't find any information about the beast. But he didn't waste time thinking.

So after checking that no other beast was following the beast he waited for the beasts to come near him. When the beast got near the tree Fang Chen was hiding Fang Chen saw that there was blood dripping from the beast's mouth.

At first, Fang Chen thought the beast was injured but when he saw the beast to swallowing motion he immediately knew that the beast has been eating on the corpse of beasts or humans.

When the best was below him he didn't waste time and sneaked attack the beast. the beast was able to feel an attack coming so it was able to doge but it was still injured.

Fang Chen didn't waste time and continued attacking. Due to injury, the beast was moving slowly but still, it was able to dodge fatal attacks. Fang Chen was getting anxious he has to attack its fatal part otherwise it would run.

So he jumped toward the beast with full strength. The best was also shocked seeing Fang Chen's actions. They crashed on each other but the beast's pupil dilated and it shrieked from the pain because Fang Chen has plunged his saber in its stomach.

Fang Chen saw that the beast collapsed but it was still moving. So he put it out of its misery. He didn't wait there because he was very near to the camp and knew that its shriek should have attracted others so he kept the beast in the inventory and started to run in the opposite direction of the camp.

While running he heard the announcement of the system that he has completed his fourth sub mission. Now he only needs to complete his last mission by staying in the forest for four hours.

After running for two hours he came back to the central area of the inner region. He was able to see the caves which he had explored earlier. The beasts have started to come back to their cave.

He didn't stay there and immediately rushed back to the outer region of the forest because the storm should have ended and the beasts and cultivators should be returning. 

He already knew that it would take him at two hours to walk out of the forest. SO after reaching the inner region he started to walk slowly toward the outer region of the forest. In between he encountered beats and other people.

Finally after two hour his all missions have been completed and he can return to the shop.
