Chapter 11: 11

Coming out of the bathroom, Xi Yu walked forward for a bit when he suddenly collapsed. His legs had actually given up!! 

Xi Yu laughed in spite of himself. He remained still on the floor for 15 minutes. By this time, the staff have returned along with the things he requested. 

The staff had informed him that along with the suppressants and inhibitors for Alphas, he also bought some for Omegas. Xi Yu thanked the Staff and gave him a tip. 

The inhibitor is something he needed right at this moment. He didn't expect that he will become affected by an Alpha's heat. Xi Yu subconsciously believed that this was still his previous world faulting his judgement. 

Xi Yu cursed the author of this book in his head for the second time. He hated her for having this kind of plot in her book but also thankful because according to his brother the situation in the book for the Alpha, Beta and Omega characters were a lot better since the author added the plot were you don't need for doctors when injecting your inhibitors. 

They have already reached the time were the researchers invented an inhibitor that could be use by anyone apart from those who have special cases. But one should take note that most people still consult a doctor for it. 

Xi Yu read the prescription along with the inhibitor before injecting it in his arms. 

Looking at the digital clock plastered on the wall he learned that about half-an hour have passed since they arrived here. 

Glancing hesitantly at the bathroom, Xi Yu was wondering whether the protagonist had calm down. After his deliberation he went inside. The protagonist was shaking because of the coldness of the bath. 

‘He’ll catch a cold.’ Xi Yu thought as he helped Shen Mo out of the bathroom. He also helped him change his clothes without any expression. Although this person is an alpha and he was omega, it doesn't change the fact that both of them are male. He had what he had. 

Xi Yu injected him the inhibitor to suppress his rut. Finally done with everything, Xi Yu plunged himself in the nearby sofa. He planned to rest for a bit before leaving. 

He was about to close his eyes when he remembered something. Something so important. 

“Shit” Xi Yu hastily check his pockets, after making sure that his phone, wallet and the car keys was with him he made sure that the protagonist was in a comfortable position on the bed and left. 

Once he arrived at the venue, he saw that only a few have left. Xi Yu searched for Xi Wan's car and thank the heavens when he saw that it was still there. 

Before leaving the car, Xi Yu took out the laptop he placed on the car to hack on the hotel's surveillance. He deleted the part when he and Shen Mo left together and replaced it with a copy  without them. 

Xi Yu went back to the table where Xi Wan have left him and sat down obediently. Earlier he checked Xi Wan and Xi Wen's activities and he saw that both of them can't find the reason to leave the company of their friends and was forced to sit and talk to them. 

He was just sighing with relief when Xi Wen and Xi Wan returned. Xi Yu smiled brilliantly at them when the two person with the same face froze together. 

Xi Yu saw Xi Wen clenching his fist while looking at him and Xi Wan closing his eyes. Both of them seemed like they are trying their best not to admonish him. 

Did they find out? Xi Yu thought. 

“Come, let's leave.” Xi Wen calmly ordered. He was calm but this calm scared Xi Yu. 

Is it too late to die again? Xi Yu shivered internally as he was thinking about many ways to die just to escape Xi Wen's terror. 

Xi Wan who usually stayed near him maintained a distance as he hummed and followed Xi Wen. 

The two brothers did not look back but Xi Yu dared not oppose them. The people whom he meet along the way also showed a strange expression while looking at him. Some even have the ‘as expected’ look on there faces.  

When Xi Wen opened the car door, he immediately slammed it close. “What did you do?” He was very stoic as he glared at Xi Yu. 

“I did not do anything.” This conversation seemed like the conversation they had when they first meet. 

“Xi Yu! Do you think I'm a fool?”

Xi Yu was puzzled, he didn't know why he closed the door but he must've known that he left earlier. Weighing the situation in front of him Xi Yu decided to tell the truth. 

“I helped someone earlier.” 

“An alpha? You helped an alpha?” Xi Wen's voice was that of disbelief and dismay. 

“Yeah, what's wrong?” 

Xi Wen laughed, “You helped an alpha and you're asking me what's wrong?” There was an emphasis in the word ‘helped’ as he spoke. 

“You let an alpha in in my car and helped him? Xi Yu are you insane? Where is your sense of propriety? You even have the guts to come back in the banquet to announce to everyone that you have gotten involve with an alpha in rut?!” 

Xi Yu got confused. He didn't understand what he mean. “Wait, i think there is a misunderstanding here.” 

“Ge, let me tell you what happen. Don't jump into conclusion first.” Xi Yu tried to walk towards him but Xi Wen took a step back and cover his nose. 

“What? You're gonna downplay it as a forced victim to be marked when you willingly let him in the car?” 

Xi Yu sighed, damn forget it. Just think what you want. 

“What happened?” This sudden inquiry from someone caused Xi Yu to jump.

Looking back, it was Xi Wan. He was holding a bottle of spray that seems to be a perfume. He did not give Xi Yu the chance to answer when he directly sprayed its content to him. 

Xi Wan only stopped when Xi Yu's body was fully sprayed. Seeing Xi Yu's shocked expression, he lowered his gaze in guilt. “It's a pheromone masking perfume.” 

“Oh.... right.” Xi Yu awkwardly said pretending to know that he knows. 

“Why are you two not in the car?” He asked as he look back and forth at Xi Yu and Xi Wen. 

“The car has a lingering scent of the alpha he played around with.” Xi Wen answered in disgust. 

“Oh, I'll give you two a ride.” He went back to where he came from along with Xi Yu and Xi Wen. 

Xi Wen's stinky expression earlier have eased a bit as well after the scent in Xi Yu's body was covered. 

Xi Wan droved slowly, they are giving Xi Yu the time to explain. 

“I saw a server put something suspicious in the wine and then gave it to a person sitting on the corner. That person was a celebrity. Seeing all those take place right under my nose I can't just ignore it can i?” Xi Yu uttered as he gaze at Xi Wen and Xi Wan. 

His two brothers did not speak so he decided to continue narrating. “I told the celebrity about it and then he asked me for help.” 

“And you helped because he asked for your help?” 

“Yes.” 

Xi Wen ‘tsked’, he swallowed the words he wanted to say when he saw Xi Wan's eyes in the rearview mirror. 

“I helped him out of the venue and sent him to a hotel.” 

“That's it?” 

“En” Xi Yu answered truthfully however his answer did not satisfy his two brothers at all. 

“What?” 

Xi Wan shook his head. “If that's it, why do you have an Alpha's scent in your body?” 

Quickly understanding what he was implying Xi Yu sighed a relief. So they were angry because of the scent. “He asked for a hug at the hotel.” 

He didn't, he forced a hug. Xi Yu thought inwardly. 

“It probably stuck on me because of that contact.” He explained. 

“You let an unknown alpha hug— 

Xi Wan cut off Xi Wen's words. “Just a hug?” He asked tentatively. 

“En, just a hug.” Xi Yu affirmed. 

There was silence on the car after that. It took awhile for Xi Wan to speak again. “Don't do something like this next time.” 

“Apologies, but I'm pretty sure I'll help again.” I know how it feels to be plotted against. I don't want anyone to suffer the same, atleast i don't want anything like this to happen right under my sight. 

Xi Yu only said the first sentence and kept the remaining two in his heart. 

Xi Wan glanced at his reflection from the rearview mirror. “What I'm saying is, if you encounter something like this, find us or asked for help from someone else. Don't get involve personally.” 

“Oh” Xi Yu hummed at look at the window. He watch blankly as they got away from the bustling city. 

He recalled what happened to him in the past and pursed his lips. If only killing a pervert won't get yourself to prison. How good will the world be without them? 

“Ge, I'd like you to shut up three people for me. They were the perpetrator.” Xi Yu started describing the three perverted men earlier. He didn't indicate which brother he was asking for help but whether it was Xi Wan or Xi Wen after hearing his request already put the name of the three people in their list. 

Guided with Xi Yu's description Xi Wen already discerned their names. He immediately ordered his secretary to send a warning notice to the three people. That warning includes making them go bankrupt and exposing their dirt. 

After doing these series of action he snorted at Xi Yu. “You think I'll help?” 

“Yes.” Xi Yu answered with a straight face. 

Xi Wen, “....”
